This is such an amazing place. I couldn’t thank these people enough for the respect and the time they took to take care of me, Austin,Romie,and Calvin were all wonderful people and on top of the help they provided for me they were wonderful people to meet and get to know. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.
This is by far THE WORST towing company there is ! I went to pay my fees and as soon as I paid they come out by telling me I have to walk half a mile to get to my car. When I arrived to retrieve my car it looked like an abandoned lot and my car was there with Noone in site to hand over the keys or greet me. The key was stuck in the ignition with the window open for anyone to drive away with.
The same energy they had to take my car is the same energy they should have had to return my car at their base.
What ever energy they put out will be the same energy they will recieve, trust and believe 💯.
Been there twice for two different issues. Office was pretty straightforward both times, no issues there. The issue comes when picking up car, it’s at a random lot under an overpass. Very sketchy to begin with. The dude there, fitten hat, white male around 30s and glasses. Very rude and unprofessional. First time made me wait 45 minutes while he was smoking a cigarette and chit chatting with some people who were helped already. This time I asked him to put the plates back on. He said he is busy. I said the police department said they will put the plates on. He just said he’s busy. Then I asked him for tools so I can put it myself and he refused, saying you need to say please first. Are you kidding me?? I am already stressed out with my car being towed and you making demands to show you some respect. Get out of here. Called the office and of course they will side with the employee.
I will be filing a written complaint with the Freeport PD.
Getting your car towed is stressful in and of it self. My family car was towed to Nonstop towing over the weekend, and they were very professional in their communication. My one advise would be, if you're getting your car towed please take the registration out of the car. My experience was as follows; ourcar was towed, we did not take the registration out of the car because the cop who towed our car was, indifferent. When we called this company at around 1pm to ask about getting our registration papers, we were asked to wait for the drivers to get off break, their break was over at 2:30 pm. We got our registration papers around 3:30 and had to run back to the freeport PD for release papers. Non-stop towing closes at 4pm so we just knew we wouldn't make it in time. We wanted to avoid another fee so we called and the young lady was nice enough to wait for us and help us out. This experience is very stressful as is so its nice to have someone understand and speak to you like a human.
Yes its very expensive. But so is the price of gas.
If I could give this company no stars I would! If patrolling a military community and taking service member’s cars was not bad enough they do not register when they take the cars with the Nassau Police Department. They need to put up more no parking signs and also more signs with the company’s informations so you know where the car is being towed from.
The customer service is also trash! Remove Luis from the phones! He communicates poorly and was unable to answer basic questions.
White lady with crusty oily blonde hair mid 50s ( I think ) attended me. Horrible grisly breath. Her screeching voice made my ears hurt. Her eyebags looked like dried grapes ( black & wrinkly ) she said her foot has fungus for some reason. They go through the vehicle for loot. Please Tip employees they look homeless & money hungry🙏. White lady at front desk seek Dental Help. Insane breath
One night that they had my car in there lot and this is what they did. Went thru it stole my brand knew jack in trunk. Once they dropped it off in my drive way they scratched my pavers with there truck. I have to make a police report and show them my video of the cameras
I wish I could give them half a star. They really charged me extra $100 and they only had my car for 22 hours and 45 minutes. Unbelievable. Please don’t get your car towed by Freeport police and get your car sent here cause they definitely will hit your pockets.
The worst of the worst and rudest towing company i have ever come across. they work for freeport pd. They returned my vehicle with a broken axel and other damages totaling over $6,000. When i called to resolve the issue they said they would give me the video as proof they didn't do any damage. After weeks of ignoring our messages and calls they said they won't release the video and to take them to court.
If I could give zero stars I would definitely with no hesitation. The lady at the desk when I went , had an attitude. On top of that, while my father was getting ready to pay them , the owner with his truck SPLASHED us with the dirty water in the parking area and when told about it , he responded with “so what, it’s my driveway, it’s my business” so apology was given and once I pulled my camera out , that’s when a apology was given.
Obviously, there are many towing businesses on Long Island but by far "Non-Stop Towing & Recovery" is at the very top of the food chain.
Their professionalism, customer service and quality fleet of trucks or second to none.
Never in my life have I ever watched a tow truck cut off a school bus in a school zone (for reference he was on carman Ave in front of East Meadow High School his plate ended in 407), not only did he cut off a school bus almost causing an accident to then slam his brakes from the traffic but he also was swerving in and out of traffic not taking into account how long his flatbed was which caused a gentleman to go into the oncoming lanes (also for reference time was 2:24 on February 8th, 2023). Now I have worked with a lot of tow trucks and flatbeds and I know there are points you have to look at your GPS but I have never seen one be more focused on his phone as this man was
I showed up twice to pick up my car and to try to get a few things out and they kept telling no one is here to assist me with that and since I haven’t received no further help they will still add late fees even though I showed up and got no help
My vehicle was held by this business, and during that time I didn't find much help. For a period of 19 days I was in communication with associates of this company to do one of several normally easy things: remove my license plate from the car so I could surrender them to the DMV, retrieve my registration, and get several other belongings. Each time I called I'd identify myself, my car, and explain what I needed so that they might know who I was. Most of those times they didn't ask for my name, and number. I was told to call ahead so that I could have my car available in the yard. I even drove all the way over there when I did call ahead only to be told I couldn't retrieve my plates because it could interfere with the car insurance company's inspection my vehicle. What...? I then asked that the remaining contents of my trunk be left for me to pick up-- wasn't done. Went all the way over there again to be told t was nothing there for me. The front desk woman took my name, and number and said someone would call me back-- didn't happen-- that was yesterday. Why'd I leave my plates and possessions in the first place? Because my vehicle was totaled in an accident that occurred on my way to work. My car was struck so hard it collided with a pillar that was part of a storefront. For a brief moment, in fact, I thought I was going to die. I'm fine, thank goodness, but this business, while not responsible for said accident, doesn't take that plight or human element into consideration. But I'd suppose it doesn't matter if your car was impounded, left for battery changes, or involved in an accident. They should try to make an already difficult situation easier on people and not more difficult.
