Jay really cares about his customers. I had to get my engine replaced and was recommended Motorwerks. I definitely am not disappointed. He gave me back a truck with no problems, and I have since gone back for other issues and received the same service.

Had a great experience with 786 Motorwerks. The workmanship was top-notch, pricing was fair, and the job was completed on time. The staff was professional, honest, and kept me updated throughout the process. My car came back looking brand new. Highly recommend this body shop.
Jay has done wonders for me when it came to diagnosing what was wrong with my car. We went around the block and he instantly knew what was going on. Came back and started working on it effortlessly. Got my brake pads & rotors, control arms, sway bar links, and the tire rods all in one go during the afternoon. Air conditioning was broken and he was able to fix that as well this summer. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Pricing was exactly what I expected especially when it comes to this industry. Definitely recommend to family and friends to come check him out truly the best there is and super knowledgeable and straight to the point no beating around the bush.
Best place I've visited hands down. Hard to find a trusted repair shop that takes their time in diagnosing and resolving issues. Took my car their for some maintenance, mechanical and aesthetic work, they do it all. In this line of work patience is key. Thank you Jay and Mo!
Terrible, left my car with them for oil pump
Job, got annoyed I was asking for updates and left my whole subframe loose. It was Just one guy for his sake I won’t say his name, not the whole crew but the guy left my whole car loose on purpose, got annoyed that I was calling , didn’t even test drive my car. Etc etc. don’t go to them . I feel stupid I trusted them. And then bro wants to get upset at me for being upset? sorry bro I worked hard for my car and I care about it it’s not daddies money bro.
Jay And his team Mo have repaired my GLE ignition coil and spark plugs with efficiency and reliability. They are honest and up front about the work needed and pricing. Trusted and confident they will be thorough in repairing your vehicle and not overselling on additional work. Honest mechanics are rare these days and are a great value to the community and customers.

Mohammed and the crew at the shop were great. They did both an engine and transmission on my 04 Chevy and I wouldn’t change a thing. He was up front about the cost and had no extra add ons at the end. Will definitely be going back for any other work.

Took it twice for hydraulics. Paid $2,000 cash, no receipt, no explanation of what was done. Very shady and disrespectful towards women. I deserve explanation.
I am not one to write a review even when I like a business but this time I have to.
I'm here in NYC giving assist to my ex and I took his Porsche for service to this particular business. I know nothing about a Porsche except that it's not like my Honda and on the advice of a gentleman that I met at the car wash who also had the same car, I found this business in Baldwin, LI because he said he took his car to this area. Not knowing exactly which repair shop, I found this one through Google.
Man I was not disappointed. Besides being a a really nice person and seemingly knowledgeable about his craft Mo (his name) didn't treat me like many repair shops treat woman. He gave me complete explanations concerning everything he was going to do.
I received a very fair price in the end and a car that functions amazingly. The man knew what he was doing, no joke.
I give them a 5 star rating. My only regret is that he's shop is up here in NY and I live in the Carolinas because this is where I'd bring my car.
People that rate this shop as highly have not had my experience. This I a bother shop. I spent a lot of money in this place only to have a car in worse condition than I brought it in. I know that many won't believe me, however I will provide concrete evidence that I am right. Please look forward to my correspondence with them. With all the evidence I have I will be taking my issues to further beyond this complaint. My car is essentially worthless at this point. Although they said bring it in I fear that my car would be damaged even more as the fact that my car has been back there seven times within less then a week of getting it back. Please learn from my mistake. The owner will say that he offered me to bring my car back for repairs, which I did do only to come out with the same or worse problems. For example, how do you bring your car in to have no exhaust problems, or to to fix leaks only to come our with the same problems and worse, which I will show in out text message threads. Everything they touched they messed up. I will show pictures and conversations just to show that I'm not trying to get over. It's so bad that I don't trust these people to rectify their mistakes only because I HAVE given them chances to do that and was lied to. If anyone was in my shoes, would you bring your car back to a shop that did nothing but made your car worse even though they wanted to make it right for the 5th time. Please look out for my second posting with screenshots of my conversations and pictures. Being broke and having someone to repair your car is heart wrenching because my car is basically useless and un sellable. I can't even afford to pay someone to fix all of there mistakes.
E350 Benz- My rear passenger window couldn’t roll up all the way.. I took it to Mohammad and he went and above to deliver exceptional service. He had the car ready before end of day and went out his way to ensure the job was done in a timely matter.. window is still doing great with no issues.Pricing was very Fair and reasonable ??
I came here to get a used vehicle inspected before purchasing it. The 2 gentleman who helped me went above and beyond. They checked EVERYTHING on the car. They were very kind and helpful. I can’t thank them enough. I am extremely grateful for their help.

I been working with Mohammad for about a year since I got my volvo. This shop he runs is amazing. It really hard to find a mechanic that addresses all of your concerns especially when you know your car. Everytime I has a issue he just tell me to bring it. If finds something he shows what it is and how we can fix it before it gets worse. I trust him with all my vehicles. To me he better than all the rest !!!!!!
Do not go here. They do maintenance without calling to inform the owner of the vehicle, although it is against policy in the state of New York. Your vehicle will come up with other problems and they will not take responsibility.
The bearded car wizard they call "mo" is by far the nicest, most professional knowledgeable gentleman possible.
I had issues with my right hand drive 96 Toyota that I imported. The problem is parts are hard to come by but not for the bearded wizard of knowledge, he was able to source everything needed to resolve all issues in a timely manner and it didn't cost me my left nut or kidney.
Since they did a fantabulous job on my Toyota I had them do some custom work on my subaru sti and I am extremely happy
786 Motorwerks is by far the finest mechanic shop I have ever been to. Mo's service, work, and ethics are unmatched. I have recommended them to anyone who needs car work, and will continue to do so in the future. And the owner Mo is one of the nicest guys to deal with!
