The overall service experience was seamless. I went in recently for a 10k standard maintenance. I was able to easily make the appointment online. Once I brought the vehicle in, the team was extremely courteous and kept me updated with video as they were completing their work.
Wonderful experience with Leroy and Artur. No high pressure sales here... Leroy took the time to show us the different cars within what we were looking for and explained the differences between each one. Artur was also great and explained all the financing, servicing and warranty options and terms. Bonus was Dustin who took the time to show us how to set up the phone app and app within the car before we drove away. They came highly recommended and lived up to the recommendation. I purchased an XC60 from this dealership before moving to Illinois in August. They assured me my plates would arrive in 3-4 weeks. It’s been MONTHS. No plates. The transit tags expired, so I can’t even drive the car I paid for.
This is the most incompetent clown show masquerading as a dealership I’ve ever seen. These people couldn’t deliver a pizza, let alone license plates. They belong selling salvage titles out of a trailer, not representing a luxury brand. The sheer stupidity on display here is actually impressive.
I’d give zero stars if I could. Go literally anywhere else—a vending machine has better customer service.

Great dealership. Down to earth salesmen. No judgement. Friendly. Host was also non judging and upbeat. Bay ridge Lexus and BMW take notes. I mention them specifically because that’s how luxury dealerships should treat all customers. Kid friendly. Very bright and modern atmosphere. Well stocked showroom. Clean bathrooms. State of the art diagnostic tools. Service representatives are cordial. Very satisfied with our experience. I’m astounded, versus coming from Brooklyn BMW and Lexus dealerships. The team were as efficient as possible, friendly, and helpful. Not all dealerships make as much of an effort. The waiting areas are comfortable and clean. Taking the car to the garage isn't anyone's favorite thing to do, but Volvo Brooklyn make the experience pleasant.
UPDATE: Second visit to Volvo Cars Brooklyn. I wanted to have the tires checked due to an object on the road that I couldn't avoid. The service manager and technician were professional and efficient. I'm much more comfortable driving, knowing the car is in very good condition.

I brought my car with 2 issues. Tire issue, which has been solved and backup camera that was solved after I had to explain, that the camera isn’t working properly and contacted Volvo headquarters to take care of it. I think Volvo of Brooklyn needs to send technician back to school more frequently lo learn more about technology.

The Volvo team made buying a car as stress free as possible. I didn’t want to spend hours in a dealer haggling price and they were able to get me the lowest price possible quickly. The service was completed timely I received a detailed video of the inspection, and even threw in a complimentary car wash. It gives me a great peace of mind knowing that everything was thoroughly checked!
If I could give them 10 stars, I would. I bought my car from another dealership; I only went there to update the software due to a recall. But wow, their service is amazing! They arranged the ride home, from home to the dealership when the car was done, checked and replenished, and washed the car. Everything was free! Plus, Joshua kept me updated with the car throughout. They also sent me a video of the walkthrough. I have never experienced this kind of service, even from the dealership that I bought the car from!!
I was pleasantly surprised at the location of Volvo in Brooklyn 2nd ave. Normally these places are way out of reach. Especially for me living upstate and working in Brooklyn that week. My car was in desperate need of brakes, so much so I felt I would never make it to my local Volvo dealer upstate. It was easy to book an appointment, and easy to drop off. The dealers were impressive. You drive into the garage and your car gets a futuristic body scan of the whole vehicle. They later send you what the scan picked up. Any faults, concerns are sent to your phone with an image for you to address. I was also sent home in a car service provided by Volvo. Once my car was ready they sent a car to pick me up. I’ve never experienced this type of service. Gone are the days of waiting around, stranded in a waiting room. Not only is my Volvo a quality car. The service is top quality too! We participated in the Volvo Overseas Delivery Program through Volvo Cars Brooklyn to purchase our 2025.5 XC90.
From the day we ordered it to the day we took delivery, the staff were very accommodating and helpful, even as our 2 year old ran around their showroom on many occasions! The whole process was pressure-free and that says a lot about the way a dealership is led from the top down and run from the bottom up.
There were some delivery issues once the car reached the US, but those were due to an unfortunate snafu in the OSD program process. Once Volvo Cars Brooklyn got word the car was waiting to be picked up, their team across all departments really stepped up and it was at the dealership in less than 12 hours and ready for us to take delivery of it the next day.
We truly feel welcome as a new Volvo owner and we look forward to working with Volvo Cars Brooklyn to maintain our vehicle. Scott is a fantastic point person for the AMAZING(!) OSD program and a representative of the Volvo Cars Brooklyn team!
