a young girl with thick black glasses was annoying, I was in the towels section and she came up to me and said you better place them back correctly pointing at the towel that’s all the way up, like I can’t even reach there plus I know better then to leave stuff messy, told her that wasn’t me, and she rolled her eyes, that was unnecessary

I normally love this Target store but I JUST HAD THE MOST STRANGEST & UNCOMFORTABLE RUN IN WITH A MALE WORKER. I wanted an item and I asked for him, but he was so close to me, standing over me and the way he stood next to me it was like I couldn’t move away from him. HE WAS SOOO CLOSE. After a a minute I just got really angry and walked away from him. Oddly enough when I was leaving my home to go to said target, there was a man following me but I kept crossing the street to avoid him, I then realized it was the target worker. He shouldn’t work there!!!

The employees at this target that I encountered, were very kind and helpful! I had a nice size target order pickup and no way to push my merchandise to my vehicle, because the cart locks past a certain point and I was parked in the parking garage across the way...so, the store employees in this department, arranged for another employee to help me take my things to my vehicle. Of course I had to drive out of the parking garage (which i was out of 5 dollars for nothing) and while I was moving my vehicle the employee watched my things and waited for me until I parked closer to the store and he loaded my merchandise into my vehicle for me. I definitely think that this target needs a more organized way of how they do their pick up orders and make it more clear to the customers. Because getting my order at this location (first time) was a lot of work and cost me 5 bucks. Lastly, when I went to the self checkout before picking up my order, I almost tripped on a broom handle that had fallen and was sticking out in the common walking path.

I used to like Target. But after spending over $100 on a small number of items today, I feel like changing my mind. I notice I only saved a little over $3. There seems to be no point in being a Circle member as you barely save anything.

Central to many of the neighborhoods around Atlantic Ave. Can get busy and rowdy at times. But, good central location and overall decent Target

This is a surprisingly big target in the Atlantic terminal, with a big variety of items such as food, toys, clothing and so on. This place is also pretty convenient to exit since it’s very close to the subway and LIRR, but coming here can be very inconvenient. Additionally this target also has a neat bathroom next to a Starbucks. Overall this target is pretty top-notch for a target is the Atlantic terminal.

Good shopping experience. Great variety with colors and sizes. Unfortunately men’s section does not have any perfumes and shoes. The shoes collection was extremely small with outdated products. Getting help is very difficult as there are very few staff on the floor of a large area

Large store with clean aisles and wide product range. Everything from groceries to clothes under one roof. Staff is helpful, and checkout was quick. Great spot for daily shopping.

Arlette was the sweetest and kindest employee at the register! She had a great sense of humor and made the shopping experience enjoyable.

Awful selection.. it's so big yet I couldn't find what I wanted. I asked the employees and wasted my time checking sections that did not, in fact, have it! It is also insanely expensive! I was so shocked I put stuff back. The people who work at self checkout are also awful. They are very inattentive and rude. They would not tell me which register to go in a clear manner, they just kept pointing and barely giving me any guidance. A group tried to skip me and then the staff member had the audacity to ask me if I had been on line. Just quit your job at that point!

Friendly and respectful employees that can try help to you in most of the department's, but remember they are sometimes assigned to separate area so if they can't help you don't stress they will try to find someone that can help you, and be nice to them it's not easy as people and their kids at times move around items or dropping things on the floor & they have to put things back or pick items off the floor. So smile and ask how their day going so far. The price of being nice is not expensive.

On 04/19/2025, just after 10 a.m., I went to check out at this Target. The self-checkout area was closed, so I headed to a cashier. The young woman barely acknowledged me, no eye contact, just a flat “Do you need a bag?” I held up my own used Target bag and said, “No.” She scanned each item and placed them in front of me, one by one. Once she finished scanning, she simply walked away. I was left to bag everything myself, scan my Target card, and even pull the receipt out of the machine. I've lived in this area for 14 years and have shopped at this store more times than I can count. The customer service used to be solid. Now? It’s slipping badly. The store used to be full of people. Lately, it’s noticeably empty. Maybe there’s a connection.

I like going to the Target downtown Brooklyn ... it always have what I am looking for and the shelves are always fully stocked. The lines are always long, but the move fast!

The Cat and Jack name brand is the best because you can bring it back after being worn. This is the greatest idea since sliced bread and AI Target is my favorite go to for the brand for my grandson and where not going to ignore the fact that they have the greatest sales and they do price matching. I swear they better not think about closing down a Target store or I’m going “ Green Eggs and Ham”

I am absolutely appalled by the customer service from a Target employee and the third-party vendor employees in the electronics/mobile department at this Target. I met my friend after work, who was intending to purchase the Meta glasses. He had already visited another Target, where he was told they were out of stock and directed to the Atlantic Mall location, which supposedly had three available. When I arrived, my friend was upset with the way he was treated by both a Target employee and a third-party vendor employee. I witnessed the interaction when he asked to see the Meta glasses on display. The male Target employee had the audacity to speak in a condescending tone, saying, “Those are just empty boxes.” I felt a surge of anger at his disrespectful behavior.. My friend, remaining calm, attempted to explain to the young lady with glasses (the third-party vendor employee) that she was showing him the wrong item. Both she and the male Target employee were dismissive and aggressive, which only further frustrated him. He asked to speak with a manager, and the young lady retorted, “Well, I don’t work for Target, so you can speak with a manager here.” This was unacceptable; clearly, we needed to address this situation with both the Target and vendor managers. After a wait of about 5-10 minutes, another employee arrived to mediate. When the male Target employee returned, he gave my friend an unsettling glare. My friend then pointed out the poor attitude of the third-party vendor employee, emphasizing that in his own program, none of his employees would treat customers like that. She ignored him, absorbed in her phone. Both employees had a tendency to talk “at” my friend rather than “to” him, which is completely unacceptable. Ultimately, we met with an Executive Team Leader (ETL) who was professional and genuinely helpful. She led us to the display with the Meta glasses and made an effort to assist us, although they did not have the type or color my friend wanted. She mentioned that if we had made a purchase, we could fill out a survey. Additionally, she acknowledged that there was a significant miscommunication between the vendor and Target, and that the male employee had a history of complaints regarding his attitude (and is a new employee). It's incredibly frustrating to encounter such poor customer service when all we wanted was quality assistance. I will be filing a formal complaint with Target because it infuriates me when employees act as if they are doing customers a favor, all while displaying a negative attitude and lack of knowledge. This behavior is unacceptable and needs to be addressed.

Updated: 3/8/25 Do better Target!! What's the use of the EXPRESS self-checkout counters and not being monitored by your staff. Some customers abuse the use of these counters with loadful of merchandise. Please train your staff to delegate customers' to appropriate checkout lanes when clearly it's more than 10 items. It's a waste of time for the other guests who are waiting in line seeing the guest who abused the service slowly pack in their extra 30 or more items into their shopping bags. Also, there used to be 10-12 express checkout machines now only 4!! In addition, the 2 kiosks for light food, snacks or beverages are not in operation. Why even install them if it's not meant for the use of the customers!!!! Management PLEASE do better to help your customers to have a speedy and efficient shopping experience.

I have to imagine this is one of the largest locations in the city and as a result they typically have a nice wide selection of products. Store is not usually kept all that well organized though sometimes which makes finding what you're looking for a bit harder. Staff is fine but not usually easy to find nor particularly helpful. My biggest gripe though is how crowded it gets and the fact that they took out a lot of the self checkouts without making up for them elsewhere so now lines just to check out usually stretch around the store and can take up to 20 minutes of waiting just to check out. About 50% of the time it's too long and I just end up going else where or ordering what I need online. Please add more regusters and/or self checkouts.

It’s a decent Target, but there are glaring issues that make it a frustrating visit over half the time: 1) Most importantly, the checkout process is extremely inconsistent. They technically HAVE two self-checkout sections, but the one near the elevator is almost never open despite recently getting renovated, and the front seems to be available only half of the time. Given the popularity of this location, that kind of reliability is simply unacceptable, and it creates lines equivalent to a Trader Joe’s in Manhattan. 2) Items on shelves are typically in disarray, particularly on the second floor. The best example of this is their “home improvement” section, which usually has rows upon rows of strewn merchandise and entire sections of empty shelving. Shelves in some places are disconnected from their walls. 3) As of late, one of their four escalators (two for people, two for carts) has been out of service frequently. It isn’t a grating issue when a cart escalator is out (though it is an inconvenience), but whenever a pedestrian escalator is out, their only alternative is a busy elevator in the back of the store. 4) Staff, for the most part, are helpful and expeditious. However, particularly in relation to the electronics section, the staff tends to drag their feet. This is evident especially when someone needs to go to the back to retrieve an item. Staff will openly have conversations instead of accomplishing their task, and spend too long AFTER these conversations searching the back for the requested item. I’d like to rate this location higher, but I simply cannot because of these issues.

Target is the perfect store for all my personal care & beauty needs. I also love their selection of clothing for my pre-teen son. On my most recent visit, a young man was super helpful as he assisted me with downloading the Target App. I explained that I encountered an issue with an online purchase a few months ago and he guided me to resolve. I enjoy going in-store whenever I'm in the U.S. but when I'm home, in the Caribbean, online shopping is easy and convenient.

My neighborhood Target is fantastic. Always well-stocked and has a great selection. There is one thing—an idea at the Union Square location that would make our grocery section that much better. See the bins in the attached pic. For a wider selection of fruits and vegetables they are the perfect size for the space opposite the down escalator.

The worst experience shopping at this target with my handicap mom they did not have no motor carts for my mom who is handicap so my mom had to force herself to walk with her Walker. The first thing i try doing was talking to a security guard asking him do you have any motor carts available he said no we dont then i said are you sure cause its against the law to not have a motor cart for the handicap. So i asked to speak to a manager and the manager never came down to see us. The security guard said that all motor carts were stolen smh mind you this place is a mall with top so call security guards. Now my mom cant walk today at all thanks to this target for not having at lease one motor cart for the handicap and my mom spent 400$ at this place cause we had no choice. Never again will i ever go back to this target. In fact for all handicap people and the elderly keep in mind there is no motor carts available ever we waited around to speak to a manager for over 20 mins standing in front next to the security guard. This target needs a reality check by law and by top officials/owners at this Target. I also lost my money going back and forth going crazy looking for a motor cart so whoever found 400$ enjoy it. They also closed the gate at the cross tunnel from the parking lot building so we had to go down from the target building and i had to walk to get my car by crossing the street to drive back to target to pick up my mom with big bags. The very worst experience i ever had shopping at target with my mother who was also very very upset with lots and lots of pain and target didn't even care at all ! #0 zero stars for me.

Best for affordable, new home and kitchen appliances but no cast-iron kitchenware in store. Great selection of Spring, Fall, and Summer clothing for men and women. Great options on clearance. Loads of toys for children. There are many tiny departments here that are niche and might help you in a pinch like books, shoes, cut resistant gloves, bicycles, etc. The outdoor furniture selection here is great. This store in general is also really well organized and neat, like the staff try to make it look picturesque.

Best department store in New York City, let alone best Target store in NYC. They have everything you need. Order Pickup is extremely fast and convenient. Employees definitely need improvement, but there are some very helpful ones. Be prepared for long checkout lines, you can't complain about the fact that they are always busy.

Not my favorite Target but useful for the necessity on an emergency stop. I need to add, prices are very good to compare against supermarkets. I think Target pricest are much better, so you save more. My biggest concern about this place has been the people who attend it. For some reason you run into your ghetto attitudes. There's a time to act like an adult and this should be the kind of place to act like one. Leave the ghetto fabulous lifestyle at home, we don't want it, need it or like it. The traffic is also a big concern due to the multiple large stores at this location and the Barclays Center across the street. This is my reason for giving it a 3 1/2 star rating.
