Even though having our trailer impounded was a big headache, I have to say that Ronnie was a very fair and decent person through the whole process. He went out of his way to help us get our trailer back on the road. It’s funny how, even in tough moments, you still find people who treat you with honesty and kindness. Thanks, Ronnie.

The guy named Ronny who seems to be in charge of operations is a gimmick. They overcharge for tow and repair to makeup for the business they lack. $1000 for a hose replacement and transmission fluid and a tow that was literally 5 miles down the road. Add to that, I called to inquire about electrical work being in a tight spot to test waters and the guy literally said that it’ll be costly to repair wiring on a cargo trailer because he knew he ripped me off in the past. Hope this review helps someone make an informed decision before doing business with this place. If you aren’t in a tight circumstance, get a tow or repair elsewhere.

Was omw to MA and my tire pressure lights came on. Silly me, I accidentally took my handheld air pump OUT of the car before I left! I pulled in not realizing they had an air pump for public use (you need quarters) and went straight to the garage. Without hesitation they told me to pull in and checked all of my tires, not just the ones that were indicating low psi. I had no cash (ATM was down) but offered beer which was politely declined. They could have been jerks and told me to go do it myself using the public air pump but they didn't. They were more than happy to help, joking around and making me feel comfortable. THANK YOU!!

My husband and I have been taking our cars to Ronnie for over 20 years. He is honest and fair, and he’ll never try to sell you something you don’t need. Prior to taking over at Hyatt’s he and his family owned a towing garage and repair shop in Yonkers, where we moved here from 18 years ago, and we would still travel down there with our vehicles whenever possible-THAT’S how much we trust him. We are so happy that he’s been up here for a while now and that the shop is very close to us. It’s certainly more convenient, PLUS we have the peace of mind knowing that we’re getting his continued support to keep us running!

I go here and live local. These guys don’t over charge and give you options. Another place wants 1100 to change a part. They said “Your car has been sitting just change the oil and let’s see”. Well they were right and saved me a ton of money. Good people, all of them!

I was traveling from Boston back to Kentucky, and my water pump started leaking coolant. I was able to get Hyatt's Garage and asked for some help in getting the water pump changed. Not sure of the if any damage was done while driving because I didn't know how long the coolant had been leaking. It took a couple of days to get the repair completed because getting parts and having to do the repair twice (had a leak, maybe some warping), they had me back on the road home. Very nice people, helpful and fair pricing for the amount of work done.

I was in an accident and Hyatts was called to tow my car for repairs. They were amazing from the start they fixed my car like brand new and so fast. Every time I called they were super helpful in answering my questions and helping me to navigate the insurance claim. Very friendly and helpful.The car looks amazing because of the quality repair job they did. Highly recommend!

I had these guys replace my brakes and they failed to check the rear calipers. As a result after only 4 months the brakes were completely worn and the new rotors were damaged from the excessive heat. It is ridiculous that they could mess up a job as simple as brakes. They also misdiagnosed an issue with a hood latch which resulted in a $300 unnecessary repair before they fixed the actual issue for an absurd price. Prices in general are ridiculously overpriced, especially considering the low quality of work! I would avoid this mechanic at all costs!

My car caught on fire last night, and Russell the tow truck driver gave me a call back not 5 minutes after the dispatcher put the call out. He showed up and was very kind and accommodating, got me hooked up quickly and home safely after a crazy experience. This morning as I was filling up the tires in my other car, another operator happened to be driving by my house and turned around to see if I needed any help or tow. 10/10 recommend. Very helpful , kind , and curious drivers. Fast service definitely a plus!

These people didn’t do anything to my car except run the codes and the charged me a little over $100 and tried to sell me new tires. He also broke my door handle on my drivers side. I didn’t ask them to run the codes but they did it anyway. I had called for a fuel filter replacement, made an appointment, waited 45 minutes after my appointment started only for them to tell me they couldn’t do it. Then for some reason it took them over an hour to run the codes. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an honest mechanic. In response to the owners response, they stated they worked on it for over two hours, but they didn’t actually work on anything. Also codes are not a proper diagnosis. I could have taken it to autozone for free and got the same information in two minutes. Like I said, I made a appointment to change my fuel filter. It took the 45 MINUTES after I got there for them to inform me that the one on my car is non-serviceable. Which tells me that they didn’t even acknowledge the car until 45 minutes after the appointment began while I was waiting there. In my opinion, the professional thing to have been done would have been to tell me that over the phone, as I’m trying to make the appointment. They didn’t seem to understand my frustration at all. Again, definitely can’t recommend this garage to anyone that wants an honestly experience.

Had to get a Tow, Flatbed showed up on time and took care of the Repair my Chevy work truck Van needed. The also did the oil change and NYS inspection that was due. Very good work done on time and very helpful.

We needed a tow, they came over fast and took care of it. Ron helped me he is a nice guy.

Great guys to deal with. Very good and clean work. Russ and Ron took very good care of my truck. I had my truck for repairs at a local dealership... and they sent it to Hyatt's to solve the problem. Problem with my truck is fixed and it was done on time and budget.

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP! Russel And Ronnie bring a breath of fresh air to this business! Excellent service and 100% professional attitudes. These guys are great. I wouldn't trust my cars with anyone else! So glad that someone else has taken over this place! Best of luck to them!

Had a RV towed. Broke down from out of state and these guys were polite, professional, on time when they said they could come. Very good service. Would recommend them any time. Thank you for your excellent customer service 👏👍😀

I agree with Thomas. Got my car fixed and was litteraly smoking and hour after I left. Then they charged me to fix there own terrible work. And wouldn't you know it same thing happens again. Will never go back. Charged me 42 dollars for anti freeze and then labor to out antifreeze on my car and out the cap on.

Hyatt's have a great reputation back before they switched hands. They are expensive, and the work they did on my car have to be reworked on by another company. If you live in this area I recommend J&J Automotive Repair LLC. It's a little bit of a drive up to 55, but they are totally worth it.

Have only been here for oil changes. With that being said, I drop my car off at 9am and always have a call for pickup by 12:30 the latest. The woman at the front desk is super friendly and helpful. I haven't had much interaction with the mechanics themselves but Tony helped me figure out something on my car and did not make me feel dumb for not realizing. Great experiences so far

Unfortunately my stupidity today caused me to meet this people today. They are very friendly and professional. I would suggest them to anyone I knew if I wasn’t a southerner or if they was done my neck of the woods. There wrecker drivers knew what they was doing very quick service all the way around. So if you having car trouble these people here are the ones to see.

I am very pleased with the level of compliance in customer service. Sammy went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I was involved in a minor accident and Hyatt"s was able to repair my car at an affordable price.

I took my car in for what I thought was a simple fix. The garage took one day to repair my car. After picking up my car and bringing it home. I popped the hood to find the mechanics never reattached my air intake. There were screws and clamps sitting about the engine compartment. When I called the garage the next day, the woman who answered the phone was extremely rude to me when I asked to speak to the manager. She took my phone number down and said the manager would call. Which he/she never did. I called several times during business hours and no one would answer the phone. I wouldnt have minded so much if the mechanics had done their job and actually fixed my car. Find a different garage.

5 mile tow was $ 700.00, that says it all about this company. My son was hit by another driver late on a friday afternoon and needed to be towed after the police arrived. The car was towed to Hyatts garage about 5 miles away. I spoke to Dave who seemed like a nice person, he even drove my son down to his shop to wait for a ride. After speaking with my insurance company, they advised me to get the car and drive it to our home where they will arrange an adjuster to view the damages. I went to the garage early Saturday morning to take the car but they could not release it because Dave was not there. I asked if I could gather some items from the car so they had to call Dave who said ok but I could not take the car. I opened the car, started it up, moved it back and forth, turned the wheels. The car was drivable. Went back in to return the key and was told, come back Monday. Came back Monday and they were closed, Tuesday was Christmas. Called Wednesday, they gave me Dave,s cell #, left a message but no return call. Friday, the insurance company called me and said to me they were told the car was not drivable, not true, by the garage. Between the tow, storage charges and tax Dave hit the insurance company up for $2350.00. Do not use this company.

I hit a deer 2.2 miles from Hyatt’s garage at 6:45 pm on a week day in Nov 2017. They towed it to their garage 2.2 miles with a standard tow truck. The tow driver was very nice. The next morning I had them move it to a body shop on route 9 a 8.3 miles. They first said I need to come to the garage to pay the first tow then they would tow it to the other garage. Once there they said sorry that’s not not how we usually do it. Will have it added to your insurance bill. They put the car on a flat bed to tow it 8.3 miles. Well my car has just finished the body work. We checked our bill. So for a little over 10 miles total they charged $956.00 total. Also when it was taken off the truck at the body shop they smashed it into the fence. I will not use them again and I live local. I will bring this unfair charge up to my insurance company.

I couldn’t be more thankful for such a great staff and great atmosphere! Every time I bring my cars here, it feels good that I can leave my car with Hyatts and feel safe about it! I know that what ever they tell me is going on, I can trust there judgment! Very honest people and great work! I met Dave and Tommy about 10 years ago when I was in need of a tow and I search a local tow shop and there they where. The golden package.. HYATTS GARAGE! I can’t speak for anyone else but myself and there was not one time or one experience that wasn’t a great one! Thank you guys for all your hard work and stress free and honesty all these years!

First let me say that I live in the city so I am not at al familiar with the area of Dutchess County. We were driving up the Taconic Parkway when all of a sudden it felt as though the car just lost power!!! I would hit the gas and nothing would happen. I was terrified to say the least!!! I was abloe to get the car to go intermittedly and was finally able to pull off of an exit and onto the side of the road where the car just died because it would no longer even start. I typed in towing companies to my phone and came upon Hyatts and called them. The man that answered was extremely nice on the phone His name was Tom. I was pretty close to hysterical and he helped to calm me down and assured me that they would be there to tow the car within 30 minutes. He also told me that they would tow the car to wherever I wanted or that he could tow it directly to their garage where they could look at the car, diagnose the problem and then fix it if that is what I wanted to do. ONce I hung up the phone I settled in for a long wait but to my great surprise, They showed up in about 20 minutes if that!!!! Since I was not familiar with the area at all, I said that they could take it to their garage and whatever needed to be done I would have them do for me depending upon the cost. When I described to them what was happening to the car, they said that it sounded like it could be that the alternator was no good and would need to be replaced. They began to work on my car to figure out what was wrong immediately!!! I had a friend come and get me and Hyatts said that they would call me when they figured things out. About 2 hours later I received a call from Tom at Hyatts saying that they had figured out what was wrong and that it was not the alternator at all, but that it was simply that the battery connections were "dirty" causing the car to not be receiving power as it should (sorry, for my lack of automotive knowledge when describing this.). Anyway, they could have charged me for a new alternator, new battery and a miriad of other things because I was so desperate I would have believed anything but they didnt do anything like that at all. Tom informed me that all that was required was that the battery ports be cleaned off and the connections checked and once they did that they were able to determine that everything was just fine!!! I was thrilled and also very happy and surprised by their total and complete honesty because they could have very easily taken advantage of me for HUNDREDS of dollars but they did not and actually only made me pay for the cost of the tow to the garage and nothing more!!!! I would reccoment this garage to any and everyone because we have all heard of garages lying and taking advantage of customers and those type of horror stories and my experience with Hyatts Garage was the exact opposite!!!! They were proffessional, couteous, friendly and honest in every possible way and I could not have been more thrilled!!!

Very professional onsite, afterwards very rude, complete rip off, charged over $2000 for tow then added another $2000 by the time insurance adjuster showed up. Would not allow us to enter truck until they were paid, most of the load that was on the truck was missing but they know nothing about it (so they claim). Hope you're never stuck having to use them. Don't know if true but told they lost their inspection certification for unfair practices.....please be very careful...
