Can get an appointment pretty quickly, or at least within the week, always explains if they find something wrong or that needs to be done soon, texting service is helpful because you can approve or deny jobs and it gives estimates and will let you know when vehicle is ready for pick up. Never had an issue and the business has been open for a long time now. I wish they were open at least one weekend day but it is what it is lol I'd recommend them!
We've been regular customers for a while, and Clove Branch has always been quick, reasonably priced, and honest.
We've also brought vehicles in for "false alarm" diagnostics, and they sent us home without charging a dime. They're great.
Mike at Clove Branch is the best. Easy to talk to and to understand. He fixes your car like he'd fix his own, and you never feel like you're being charged a penny more than necessary when you deal with him. The whole team there is friendly, fast and are never too busy when I need to leave a car off for service.
226,000 Miles is a lot on a car! Trying to pass your NY Emission Tests with those many miles is also A LOT! But thanks to the awesome Clove Team, I was able to do it. They’ve cared for my 2012 Nissan Altima since 2020–oil changes, brakes, other deep dive auto stuff I don’t get. They even triaged with my brother who lives in Washington State and have always treated me fairly. As a single female it means A LOT!

He also did an oil change, & a 40-point inspection, which was needed. This was all done on the same day. The owner, Mike, & the mechanics are very courteous, & efficient. Mike & the mechanics (No, not the band. XD I mean Mike and his amazing mechanics, Paul & Scott. <;) ) are some of the best mechanics around!! My dad recently needed his rear brakes replaced on his 2018 Subaru Crosstrek and Clove Branch had him covered!! We were informed throughout the entire process and literally got the car back the next day. They were lightning fast! They also informed us about his burnt out headlight and told us info on how we can get it replaced since it's a special HID bulb. They're very expensive to replace so we couldn't do it right away but the information was very helpful. <:D My mom always went to Clove Branch for her car and now my dad is doing the same and we're still getting the same excellent and friendly service. Come to Clove Branch for any of your car needs!!! <:D
The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They are good about keeping appointment times. They do good work on the vehicle and are honest workers. They don’t try to push you to get extra work done like some other places. I would recommend Clover Branch!
My name is Valerie and I have a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder SL. At 160,000, I broke down on I87, at night alone with my dogs. My car lost all acceleration. I waited a few minutes, prayed, and I got my car running somehow to the Nissan Dealership. Nissan told me I needed an entire transmission rebuild, and warned it could only be done through Nissan to turn off the transmission code light. This would cost $7600, and Nissan claimed my car was worth $0 due to needing that transmission. Trusting Mike, owner of C. Branch, he went above and beyond to help me. He visited Nissan with me and stood by my side, advised me to take the car and followed me to be sure I wouldn't break down. As a woman, I felt Nissan had me at their dispare trying to take advantage of my situation. Mike, put in an air sensor for $300. Guess what?? As I felt in my gut, Nissan was lying that I needed a whole new transmission. The code light, which Nissan warned me only they could turn off, turned off!! Thanks Mike, and the crew for helping me out, and standing up for me at Nissan. I have been using Clove Branch for over 10 years and have faith and trust in their diagnosis, workmanship, and Mike is a good person who really does the right thing! Clove Branch has my business, and will continue to keep me and my family safe.

I highly recommend Clove Branch Muffler and Brake. I've taken my SUV in twice and always had a great experience. The first time that I took it in was for a fairly difficult job. The Ford dealership in the area told me that it was utterly impossible to get the parts that my SUV needed to pass inspection and that it was time to buy a new one (it's an older SUV, but not a classic or ancient). I called Clove Branch and told them what Ford had told me. The man laughed and said that he could get the part. Now, it was a little expensive, because they had to have a bracket fabricated by a body shop, but my SUV is still on the road and running fine. The second time that I took it in was for an oil change. I expected it to take all day (like the dealership did). My appointment was for 9am. At 945am I received a text telling me that my car was ready!
My family has been going to Clove Branch for decades. Mike, Paul, Scott and all their mechanics are absolutely wonderful. They are honest, prompt and do what needs to be done to your car without upselling like many shops do. I trust them implicitly to get my car up and running. Very honest shop. Great guys.

Today, I was driving from Long Island to northern Vermont when my car suddenly started shaking violently and making loud noises. I suspected a suspension issue and knew I had to find a repair shop immediately. I called three different places—one wanted to charge $150 just for an inspection, and another had no availability. Fortunately, I found Clove Branch Auto Repair, and it was the best decision I could have made.
As soon as I arrived, they quickly diagnosed the problem and confirmed that my suspension system was in bad shape. They advised me that my car wasn’t safe for a long trip and strongly recommended immediate repairs. Understanding that I had a long journey ahead, they prioritized my car and got to work right away.
The service was fast, professional, and reasonably priced. They even offered a 10% discount for new customers, which was a pleasant surprise. In just about two and a half hours, my car was fully repaired, and by 5:30 PM, I was back on the road—safe and sound!

I find this auto repair shop OUTSTANDING!!!! and I’m extremely picky …. They always do their very best , and accommodate me. I’m a very meticulous person and they do meticulous work ….. not to mention the convenience of them being right down the road from my house ….. clean , reliable work !
