Adrian and Sam were great. I needed a new gas cap..Adrian checked inventory..it was in Stock! We couldn't get the tether off the old one. Sam to the rescue. They didn't just sell. They made sure my problem was fixed. I am very grateful. Great job!

I went into the store tonight and bought a new fog light for my 2010 Toyota Highlander! The guy that cashed me out was pretty nice and I asked if you could help Give me a couple pointers as this is my first time changing a fog light he said he’s not able to help because he doesn’t know how to change a fog light either! The other gentlemen working named Nicholas. He said he was too busy and just laughed and rolled his eyes. I literally sat here open the hood and I’m watching him eat a candy bar and just stand around. I go in and ask if I can borrow a simple Phillips head screwdriver and he proceeds to tell me they don’t have one I can use. Yeah, right in an auto parts store are you freaking kidding me Absolutely terrible customer service and I will never be returning! What a joke

Back on 12/02/2024 Annette waited on me. Was very pleasant and patient. Needed wipers in the middle of snow storm. Weather was terrible but with a smile on her face she went out and put the new blades on. Thank you Annette!

Larry and Peter there were knowledgable and supportive when my car broke down when I was 8 hours away from home on a Sunday, with no repair shops open. They both took the time to listen to my problem description and analyze what the problem could be.

This Advanced Auto parts store is the absolute best!!! The managers are extremely knowledgeable and genuine!!! My business has been using this store for a very long time and I’ve never been let down or upset. Roger and Annette the commercial managers are awesome and thorough. I will never go anywhere else!

You can often get decent deals if you buy online and pick up in the store. As always, though, be careful and shop around. If Peter is working you can pick his brain for good advice in diagnostics as he is an expert.

I purchased a brake caliper from here. Long story short I didn't end up needing it and they told me to come back another day when they would have the change for me!!!??? You mean to tell me you can't give me back the money I gave you!!!???

This place is terrible. I ordered a new headlight, and they sold me the wrong part. I didn't realize they sold me the wrong part until I attempted to install it. They refused to exchange the part for the correct part. Then they attempted to sell me a new part without refunding incorrect part they sold me. I left the part at the counter, and I didn't get my money back. The staff has a long reputation for being rude.

One of the employees, Tiffany, is most definitely racist and must have too many personal problems going on in her life. No racial slurs were used, however she had no problem communicating with the two white gentleman that came in shortly after me. I told her I did not want to get in a verbal altercation once I realized that attitude I was receiving from her. She disregarded that and continued to be rude and stand off-ish with me.

Went to the second st store. Had them tell me parts that appear on their web as available, are not available. The clerk then tried to sell me about 200$ worth of parts I definitely didn't need.

To me the chain parts stores are a life saver although they are way overpriced and I like to order my parts online from a few choice sellers. That being said, the job has been saved plenty of times by my local parts stores.

I called one morning looking for car parts, because I wanted to make sure they had the parts in stock before I drove all the way to Jamestown. When I called all I did was give Tiffany the part numbers and told her how many I needed, and, without hesitation, she went to make sure that they had all of the parts before telling me that they did have all of the parts. Anybody who is a regular for going to car-Parts stores knows that it’s a hit or miss if the parts are actually in the store when you’re doing an order online. I can’t explain to you, the relief that it was that she went and found all of my parts while I was with her on the phone and insured me that she had all of them there. I told her after that that I was going to submit the order online and not even two minutes later the items were ready for pick up because she had already gotten all of my stuff together. Tiffany went above and beyond and that’s rarely seen in stores. She answered all of my questions with ease, and she just made me feel like there was no worries about my order! I appreciate Tiffany. And because of her due diligence, I will be using advanced auto in Jamestown at the 707 location for the foreseeable future. Thank you so much Tiffany I love your work and I look forward to working with you in the future. For any management or owners who see this review, give that woman, a promotion and a raise! Employees like her are very hard to find and you would be dumb to lose Tiffany, and no longer have her on your team. That kind of efficiency is rare.

This is your typical Advanced Auto store. However, the help that you receive is very good and the employees are very helpful and don't try to "oversell" you on what you actually need. I had a very good experience here (2nd Street location). I recommend going here for your basic automotive needs.

Did they have what I needed? No. But they sent me to a local place to get it. Even walked outside to give me directions. So friendly. They research what you need and give you great options if they don't have it! Highly recommend!

I only shop at Advance when necessity demands. Online pricing is a little bit competitive, but the online promo coupon for this purchase "FEB21" didn't work. When my wife picked up the purchased halogen headlights from the Jamestown store tonight the cashier didn't include a black glove nor ask if she wanted one. $58 headlights is not something that someone should take a chance on. No one offered to change the headlights, which should have been an included service. No employee would have needed to enter the vehicle to make this happen. My wife drove home 12 miles in the dark with a blown headlight. I keep trying to give Advance a chance to win me over again, but all locations it the same poor customer service. Unless I have to use a gift to use a gift card again, I will try to avoid Advance.

Wish I knew the name of the female manager. She is the rudest person I've ever met! They won't ware a mask. Pricing is a joke . Because they failed at those simple tasks I'll be never coming back! I'll go through their competitors or I'll just find everything online 🤣 ✌️out

Typical AAP store...the store carries a little bit of everything that commonly goes on a car. If it's not on the shelf they can order it. The staff is pleasant without being condescending. Prices are atypical, similar to Wal-Mart.

The employees know the parts business very well and are very attentive to their customers. Excellent fast service. Great for locating parts for you or simply having them quickly install windshield wipers on your car.

Customer service is great! Stopped in looking for a fuse for my brake lights. They came out to my car helped me check the fuses and were super helpful.

They sold me the wrong part for 65 bucks and when I tryed to return it unused they would not return it they basicly robbed me so from now on I go to auto zone they're a little bit more honest. I will drive the extra miles for better service and honesty.

The staff are always helpful and friendly, and they often have things that no one else in town has. They also have OE equivalent fluids and oils, so you don't always have to go to the dealer for genuine fluids, which can be a pain. They sell quality carquest parts, and they stand behind their parts with their warranty. They always take care of us.

It's a pleasure to work with the professional 2 nd. Street sales staff , they are most knowledgeable and eager to help. I like that they often call me by name and treat me as though I were a family member, directing my attention to specials and money saving options. Great Crew !

I went into this location for the loan a tool program. The employee after telling me the tool was in bad shape, went to the back to get it. After showing it to me, he proceeded to inform me that it was beat up because people had hit it at the wrong angle and showed me the right angle. It's a tool that does not require hitting, but proper technique to use. Then tried to charge an outrageous deposit for the tool. I know he couldn't control that, but don't put tools out that could cause damage or injury. Train your employees, or tell them not to give advice if they don't know. Also, persons of one ethnic background should not receive preferred service over another. I will from now on drive the extra 5 minutes to auto zone. Much friendlier and more knowledgeable. Better pricing too.

Terrible service every time. Was snubbed in Spanish so the employee could get back to his friends. Won't ever shop here again. He wouldn't even answer my questions. I get the impression that they don't like dealing with women at this location, since this behavior has happened several times now.
