This place was awesome. The landscape is created from the floor of a prehistoric ocean. There were many rocks, trail stairs and slot trails to traverse. I loved it. The museum was quirky and wildly interesting. I did it twice, back and backwards.

Pretty neat place - pretty impressive to see the size of the rocks and how cool some of them look.

Great quick walk (under a mile) through interesting rock formation. The trail is mostly paved but rough and it does traverse an incline so expect some ups, downs and steps at the end. The walk is worth the $8 entrance fee.

We stopped here on the way home from Allegheny after seeing a ton of signs for it and getting curious. Glad we stopped by! The store/museum was very interesting and had a lot of cool local goods for sale. The walk itself was gorgeous. There were a lot of cool and unique rock formations, and we all had a great time

This is such a cool little park! We only spent 45 min walking around but we could have made it last much longer! So many amazing rock formations! Just gorgeous! If u have little ones be sure to bring a backpack as a stroller will not do well here!

Big gift shop nice view among rocks not easy path to get down in the rocks but nice views once you do

Amazing park. Fairly easy to maneuver. Some skill required for off trail hiking. Friendly staff. Post a picture to social media for a free spin of their wheel and a prize.

Quirky little stop with a charming gift shop. I especially loved the bottle tree out front—it instantly reminded me of the one from Because of Winn-Dixie. The rock formations are stunning, though I do wish there was less signage, as it takes away from the natural beauty. On a hot summer day, the “prehistoric air conditioning” from the cool rocks is nice.

I'm not sure you'll visit a quirkier place! The store was...eccentric. When we first started the trail, it wasn't terribly impressive. Then we descended the metal steps, and it was gorgeous! On a hot and humid day, the cool area around the rocks was a delight. If you're visiting in the summer, bring bug spray. Bonus tip: Don't be the first ones there when it opens. If you are, you'll walk through lots of spider webs.

Really cool park with amazing scenery. It wasn't too difficult of a trek. The road to the regular entrance was closed due to muddy pathway but we were able to easy walk and access the entrance. On the way we saw the side off oath for Rick formations which was really cool

Our family had an amazing time here, even my 4 year old daughter liked hiking among the rocks. It's very cool on a hot day, it took us about 1,5 hours.

Awesome, well designed trail featuring the glorious Allegheny conglomerate boulders. There are a few places to explore these "rock cities" but this is the first I was able to walk on top of the boulders. Very cool! Fun, homey gift shop with expected memorabilia and decorated with unexpected items. I appreciated the "have you hugged a rock today" slogan. Felt like a classic park tourist attraction unchanged by the past few decades.

Price for entry is okay at $8 per person but I haven't been anywhere with boulders this large. Very nice trail that is pretty easy to stay on. There are clearly several trails in the area but many are labeled private property so stay on trail. They are marked with orange. The store is cool as well with an assortment of gemstones and bigfoot merchandise lol. Definitely worth a stop if you have an hour to spare. Will be back. Also $1 off military discount as well for entry.

WORTH MANY VISITS! Incredible breath-taking views of the unique rocky landscape of Southern NY, minutes from the Pennsylvania Border. you can even get married on the top of some HUGE rocks!

This is a must stop. Great for kids & a work out. The park is clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking & no poison ivy that I could see.

Great place, the rocks with the moss covered and fern covered are just amazing to see. The rocks have trails marked and some slot canyons that have cool photo opportunities. It was not even 70 degrees when we were there, and there were maybe 5 cars there with fellow hikers! I loved it 😍 ❤️

Some steep climbing up. If you are out of shape, you may need a few breaks. It was very cool. Only $8 to get in. Not too bad.

Loved this place. $8 per person entrance fee because it’s private land, but still worth it. Dog friendly as long as they are leashed. About a one mile walk/hike on uneven surfaces and stairs. Beautiful rock formations.

Very cool walking thru the large rocks left by the glaciers. Fall colors were pretty and all the different rock shapes and different small trails through the rocks were awesome!

Reminded me of the woods they go through in the Princess Bride. No signs of R.O.U.S's or quicksand but never the less you might want to carry a sword. All fantasy aside tromping through this wild quartz composite was not only beautiful it was a great deal of fun as well. Worth every penny, and the gift shop has some cute treasures too.

Wonderful visit and enjoyed the rock formations and the climbing. A great place for kids and parents alike to explore. There are pavilions for groups and picnic tables too.

Very cool place but I think a donation box would be more appropriate, should not put a price on nature, it should be free to see. There’s a very nice gift shop/store that you must walk through to get to the park. Rock City Park is definitely worth checking out!

We had a great time exploring around the Park. It was so different from the places that we usually go hiking and it had amazing scenery. The Rock City Park can also be great for hot summer days because the shades of the trees and rocks keep the temperature in the trail cooler. Highly recommended!

Phenomenal little place, short hike thru various rock formations, do it twice, I did about 1.3 miles, felt like I was walking in circles, took over 100 photos. I got there when 2 school buses where present but they seemed to be done with their tour, took a moment to get my admission $8- glad I did not leave, cute liitle shop for merchandise

Really neat place! It's about a short 1 mile loop down and around through the huge rocks. It's marked really well with signs and ribbons along the trail. I highly enjoyed the Indian steps at the end too. I would also like to mention how friendly and welcoming the man in the gift shop was as well.

Awesome park!!! Finally went and it was open! Hours are now on park gate, tells you when they are open and open from. Paid $6 went on a gem and fossil weekend and got to see all types of near rocks and gems. Got a few souvenirs from the gift shop :) The rock formations are awesome and can't be described until you see them in person! The park is huge, and there are tons of neat pictures you can take! Tons of trails and the rock formations are labeled. Definitely worth a trip and a hike! Spent about 2 hrs here, Def not a short walk by any means. But neat.

This place is absolutely amazing! Especially for nature and rock lovers! The trail is beautiful and well maintained and easy enough for most anyone to walk. There are some steep stairs in places and some crevices that young children would have to be careful around but this is truly a must see!! ❤️

This place was amazing! It was a lot of fun to explore the rocks. There is a trail to follow but also many side areas to explore. It is impressive to see how high the rock formations are. We enjoyed going through the caves and in between the rocks. I would definitely recommend going here! The gift shop is really nice and the prices for everything are very reasonable.

This is a really interesting place. Lots of huge rocks to explore. The main trail is fairly well marked and other interesting formations have their own markers. The gift shop area is a little weird, as it's a fairly big space but isn't all used, and the layout is funky. That being said, the prices are very reasonable, which is unusual for a tourist attraction like this. All in all, I enjoyed this place quite a bit, as did my family.

This is a beautiful place, with picnic spots, hiking, events, a gift shop and several notable sites. The roughly 1 mile long trail is dog friendly but you may need to carry them down the iron stairs or up the Indian stairs. It's an easy, fun hike with lots of images in the rocks. Great fun for kids, families or anyone who enjoys a little bit of whimsy, nature and a bit of geology. Dogs get in free! Beware of the sasquatch!
