The new woman working the front desk is awful. My husband and I have been taking our cars here for about six years. We started bringing our cars here because my parents have been taking their cars here for probably 15+ years. The mechanics are great. The woman who used to work the front desk was absolutely fantastic, she was such a sweetheart and so helpful. This new woman is absolutely AWFUL, the absolute worst attitude. Not only was she condescending and rude And also my husband when we called just inquiring about appointments, but she was also incredibly rude to my father, who was simply just waiting for a tow. My father is a senior citizen and did not deserve that type of disrespect at all from anybody, especially since he just called to find out how long the tow would be because he was waiting in the cold for over an hour. Whoever the woman is who works at the front desk needs training on customer service. The important part of her job is to be a friendly and welcoming to customers. She is the opposite. The amount of attitude she has is insane- because it’s completely unwarranted. Looking at other reviews- I see other people are bothered as well. Hire someone else.

I never thought about leaving a review for this place because I’ve been getting my car fixed here only my entire life. They’re the best in this area period. Excellent customer service and wonderful staff. Thank you Cindy, Bob, and Pat for fixing my hood latch and giving me a lift back so I didn’t have to walk in the snow along the highway back home!

Chris was great and helped us out super late at night even though he should have been off the clock. Even let me barrow a jack and jack stands at 11:45pm on a Sunday. Thank you for the great service!

Last Saturday afternoon, while speeding down I-78, my car’s serpentine belt snapped. The toll truck came to the rescue ASAP. The driver, Chris, was kind and professional, brightening up the mishap with reassuring smiles. He also generally waived the charge for miles beyond the 5 miles covered by our AAA policy. Called Monday around lunchtime with not much expectation. Cindy, the office manager, relayed my message and John, the mechanic, returned my call right after his lunch break. The car was fixed, test-driven and ready to be picked up!!!! Wow!!! Went first thing Tuesday morning. Was told by Cindy that she never schedules appointments for Monday, knowing that “things happen over the weekend.” She explained that Rossnangle’s is family-owned and has been in business for over 60 years!! My car runs well all the way back to Westchester County, NY. I would take my car to them for everything if they weren’t so far (2 hrs) away!!!

This morning, I had to dodge a cement truck and ended up with a flat tire. I called AAA for a tow, only to be told the wait time was three hours, which eventually stretched to six. When I called back, I learned that one tow truck was out due to an emergency—a reminder of how unpredictable life can be. However, it made me question why the company only has two tow trucks available. Despite the long wait, my tow driver Chris was exceptional—professional, kind, and engaging. He even offered to help me change the tire, but I had to refuse because I didn’t have my wheel lock with me. Chris made the experience much better with his humor and openness about his work, and it’s clear he deserves more recognition and better pay than the $21 an hour he mentioned. Overall, while the service wait was frustrating, Chris’s attitude and professionalism stood out and made a tough day more bearable and the only genuine reason why I rate this experience 5 stars.

It's never a good experience picking something up from the 'the pound'' but the mechanics helped get the atv in the car and sympathized with us so that's the only reason I give it three stars... The extra tacked on fees were ridiculous and make me think the police are getting kickbacks from this place.. Why else would they send to Phillipsburg? There are plenty of places around here...

I genuinely wish I could rate them better but whoever is their secretary is garbage. She was very rude and very unprofessional and it looks like I’m not the only one with the misfortune of dealing with her. Thanks to the tow truck driver for getting to us quickly and in a timely manner, we really appreciated it after the awful day we had. I hope you guys actually look at your reviews and take notes. Takes one person to make or break your business sometimes, and she’s the reason I’m rating this place 2/5.

FYI - to your tow truck driver observed running every red light and almost striking 2 cars on 03/20/25 @ 1015PM on Route 22 east heading to 78 - it is against the law to run a red light even with your blinky amber lights on top. You are a tow truck driver, not a police officer or EMS. You ran 4 red lights that I counted. Absolute gross negligence. Hope this place goes out of business.

Great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The official Dodge dealer couldn't fix my trucks Dodge Death Wobble but Rossnagles persisted and fixed it and the truck is safe again. Thank you!

I had a good experience with Rossnagle’s. My truck wouldn’t start so I called for a tow. I was expecting to wait a couple hours but a tow truck pulled up in 15 minutes. The driver , Robert was informative and professional. Treated my vehicle with care.Was very pleased with their service!

I went in the morning to pay mi bill and get my car tow, the old lady had a really nasty attitude. rolling her eyes and making faces every time I ask for some help, I give them a call around afternoon bc they where supposed to give me a call wich they didn't to let me know when the driver is gonna be on his way. I told the lady that the junyard that the car was supposed to go closes at 4 and she told me that she knows that. they made me wait for 2 hours and the driver was late and the junkyard was already close so he left my car in the street having me to go tomorrow morning to solve the problem that they made.

Complaint About Discriminatory Behavior and Lack of Professionalism Today, I had to visit this establishment due to my current condition, which limits my ability to walk. Unfortunately, the service I received was completely unacceptable, lacking respect, empathy, and professionalism. I was attended to by a blonde-haired woman wearing jewelry, whose attitude from the very beginning reflected disdain, seemingly influenced by my physical and cultural traits. When I kindly asked for information, she responded rudely and with a complete lack of interest in doing her job properly. While I was searching for the documents she requested, she began assisting the person behind me without warning. Then, visibly irritated, she angrily demanded that I “move out of the way,” despite my clear inability to walk and my reliance on a mobility aid. This experience was not only unpleasant but also deeply discriminatory toward my cultural background. It also demonstrated a complete lack of empathy for someone in my situation. The service provided was unacceptable and deeply offensive, something that should not occur in any public-facing institution. I am calling on the management of this establishment to address this behavior, review their staff’s actions, and ensure that such incidents do not happen again. This kind of unprofessional and disrespectful behavior harms the dignity of individuals

Crooks, on two occasions police called them to tow one of my vehicles they insisted on charging me for an impound even thought they were informed on both occasions it was not an impound and paper work was not required to release it by a officer the woman behind the counter didn’t care and insisted it was called in as one and wouldn’t remove the fee! (broken down in road and not home to move my suv when garbage truck couldn’t get thru)

My car broke on 78 and AAA Assigned me this towing company with estimate of 3 hrs. I read thier reviews and was kinda worried and i was right, After waiting 3 hrs they said 8am which was another 5 hrs. We arranged to drop key at gas station. In the Morning I don’t hear anything from them and when i called they told me they don’t have any driver. It’s Sad that this company is registered with AAA.

Had to give this review one star in order for it to post, but I didn't want to give it even one after a recent experience. Sunday afternoon in Phillipsburg, Triple AAA was called for assistance . . . confirmed that someone from Rossnagles would be there within an hour. We waited for 5 hours!!! Called every hour on the hour and were told they were on their way. The last time we called they said they'd be there within 45 mins. I didn't want to curse at the dispatcher, since it wasn't her fault, so we just hung up and I called a towing service in Easton. Called Triple A to register a complaint the day after.

In the past several months I have, unfortunately, required their services multiple times. Two of these experiences have been absolutely miserable with tow truck divers who are incredibly rude and frustrating to work with. When towing through AAA 5 miles are supposed to be free and they always charge for those 5 miles, then get aggressive and angry when you question them about it. One tow was after 5 pm, and the driver told me that I’d have to pay him in cash or he would unload the vehicle right there. That’s so shady to me. I wish there was someone else who serviced the area. It’s not fair that they take advantage of and treat poorly desperate people who have no other options.

Everyone needs to have a go-to local mechanic. GO HERE Fast, cheap, thorough, honest, professional and organized (they document everything), personable, will answer all your questions, keep your car safe over night with a locked/fenced lot. Go here. I saved a few thousand dollars coming here. I even had John fix things that I was planning to ignore since the price he quoted me at was so affordable. No pressure sales. 10/10

5 stars. Super friendly receptionist and mechanics. They towed and fixed my RV after it blew a hose. Despite them being busy as heck they got the work done for a fair price and did an excellent job. I definitely recommend. Thank you again for getting my rig back on the road!!!

These are the kindest, most caring, empathetic people I've come across in a very long time. Me and my wife and our toddler son broke down not too long after beginning a many-hour road trip. Luckily we were able to painfully limp our hobbled car to the door of Rossangles, because within 3 hours we were back on the road with everything fixed. As busy as they were, they took the time away from other jobs to fix our car. And they even went a step further: because I am very far from a rich man, and am in fact the extreme polar opposite, the cost of the repairs were greatly reduced to exactly what I was able to afford. I left there with a restored faith in humanity. These are wonderful people who are very professional and do great work. They deserve your business, and you couldn't pick a better bunch to do it with.

I been a member of AAA for 4 years I am a premier member so they offer 1 free battery a year if needed. This is the second time AAA sends this company. 1st time they tell me they don't do this on the weekends so I call them today on a Monday and there excuse is he is short handed.

We have been using Rossnagle's for years, but over the past year service has really gone down hill. Now when we drop off the car, it sits for days before someones responds back to you. When you contact them for a status, most of the time the person looking at your car "is out sick", "not available..call back later" or other reasons. We're going to be looking for a new place to bring our cars going forward.

This company performed a AAA tow for me to their service center and repaired my spark plugs. They didn’t call to quote price or ask permission to perform the repair until after they had completed it which I’ve never had a shop do before. The job was performed for a price within the high end of reasonable ranges though and they adequately fixed the problem. I wouldn’t return to this shop again because of their failure to quote a price before performing the repair.

I'm not sure who's telling the truth and who isn't, but I called AAA for a tow yesterday and they advised Rossnagles refused the call because I was parked at a COVID19 testing site. I moved the vehicle and called back as advised to by AAA agent. Call went to Rossnagles again, refused again. Wasted a total of 5.5 hours waiting for AAA and this was one of the facilities that denied me the tow. Thanks for nothin'. PS: Received call back denying service the first time after 120 minutes, and the second time after 45 minutes.

These guys are the true bosses! I got a great discount as a first time customer, and they drove me home once, and picked me up later to get my car. This courtesy to the customer is EXACTLY what defines the TRUE spirit of the kind of all-American mom-and-pop style businesses that just don't exist anymore. Their decades of experience lends to a reputation well earned. If you need work done, see these guys FIRST. Many more good years to you, dear sirs!

I had a problem that my normal mechanics at the dealership couldn't solve. Rossnagle's fixed it thoroughly, and with great care for price and expediency. They've got awards covering their waiting-room walls and now I see why. I'm grateful to have found them!

I called AAA and made arrangements for my 4X4 truck along with my hitch attached wheelchair carrier and electric wheelchair to be towed to Firestone on 248 in Nazareth, PA. When the driver arrived he had a regular tow truck, I asked how he could possibly tow my truck including the wheelchair? He told me I had to take it off and make other arrangements for the wheelchair and carrier. I explained to him that AAA already did that for me and it was in the tow job description documented. He explained that he was dispatched and didn't know anything until he arrived on location with me. I asked him to read the AAA dispatch or call his dispatcher and he said it was not his problem. He then started saying that I was lying about the call, he hopped back in the tow truck and took off without saying a word. AAA call center immediately dispatched another local provider, apologized for the poor actions of Rossnagle's, and ensured me that Management at AAA and Rossnagle's would be notified. The other tow company dropped what they were doing and came to assist me and my wheelchair. Never have I been treated so badly for being disabled as I was by the driver at Rossnagle's!!!

Matthew came to tow my dads Mini Cooper out of the mud about 300-400 feet down a hill from the street! They said up to an hour but was there in approx 20 min. Amazing customer service, amazing tow truck driver(Matthew) and reasonably priced. Definitely would use them again if needed!!! Everyone was extremely friendly! Thank you Matthew for coming to my dads rescue. You are fantastic!! Thank you to the wonderful dispatcher that sent Matthew out to rescue us!
