I know everyone needs a job but the older gentleman at the counter means well , but this job isn't for him . Instead of refunding my account he somehow charged it for the core ( later fixed by bank ) also his eyes are not the best therefore be careful when ordering by part number be sure to double check. He's not familiar with car parts at all he thought calipers were brake pads im only saying this to prevent future issues he's very friendly but just not competent to do this job im sorry but its true customer beware

Just needed some help finding some weather stripping for my truck cap and Matthew was there to help and pleasant. We complemented each others quality choice of first name and for a brief moment all was well in the world. I don’t go to auto parts stores much but this will be my place when the need arises.

I come to this place all the time and am always buying from here, i recently bought a part from here and the gave me the wrong part. They refused to give me a refund even though it was their mistake and they are the ones who provided me with the wrong part. I was really disappointed with the way i was treated.

Faster than waiting around in line at Autozone, The carquest and API parts are better quality also than Autozone's generics (Duralast could be any low cost product from any number of factories around the world--install it once you may be installing again under warranty). Advance also has a ton of name brand items you can get same day or next day. Needs improvement: Warranty policy. If you go on a trip away from your local store, the nearest store may decline a defective warranty claim unless you have a receipt--phone number not enough (not the case with AZ and many other national retailers). At least that was what some employee mumbled to me, either because they didn't care to do extra work, or because there is some official policy--unknown--that you must only do warranty at the store that sold you the item. I may have had the receipt in the glove box but decided to just leave to avoid dealing with these folks who were needlessly reluctant to honor the warranty. Sad because I had only 1 or 2 cranks remaining before needing AAA to start my car.

Advance for the win! When it is 8:30 pm and literally no other place is open which can change a car battery, call Advance. CJ was friendly and through and got the corroded old battery out and cleaned up in little time getting me back on the road and back to work. He even gave me helpful advice to keep this new battery running better. Give these guys a raise for saving the day for so many people.

Just like the many other stores but this one is smaller and the a very tight small parking lot. If busy you may not find a space. The employees were knowledgeable and helpful.

Mike here is a stud. Project was creating a custom wire harness for my semi installing a power inverter. He came out, looked at my truck, and project at hand. Both discussed what works best the correct way without burning my semi down.

I'm not someone who frequents auto parts stores often. I recently purchased a alternator part for a repair man who needed help while busy. Upon purchasing the part that was very expensive. There was a very kind gentleman who tested my old one and told me it was good. In less than 24 hours I came to return a unused part, the Associate at the time told me repair shop used and installed it. What am I to do? I had know knowledge this is an item that was so delicate to handling. The store decided store credit was my only option. Seems not bad right? Unfortunately I can't use almost 400 dollars in a store I have been in once a year. I called customer service and I was told by customer service " It is common knowledge that alternators are electrical parts and electrical parts are non returnable" I guess I got skipped on that common sense trait. I was not given any information as to what type of part it was nor any return policy information. Customer service also said there is ALWAYS a paper around somewhere that list returnable and non returnable items that also indicates store policies. Unfortunately I was not directed to any such item at anytime. The point of this is for ANYONE who is NOT a "regular" PLEASE be very AWARE of all the store policies they keep "hanging around" as associates will NOT tell you or indicate at any time.

Average auto parts store. Not the cleanest most well organized place but they usually have what you need in stock and if they don't, they usually can get next day in store delivery. The staff is hit or miss, some days they are very knowledgeable and helpful other days not so much.

Great options for all of your car needs. Helpful staff. Don't want to c9me in and wait or ask for help. Download their app and pick up at the store nearest you.

It feels like an older store and has the smell of wd40 and grease. I still prefer this store over the newer auto parts store across the road because the counter help is above average. They have everything you would expect in an auto parts store.

The store is ok but service is a little slow especially if you are female. Guys, some women do know a dip stick when they see one.

I am shocked that I lived here in Phillipsburg almost 4 years and had no idea that I have such an awesome auto parts store less than 5 minutes away! I was SUPER impressed with the level of customer service I received from Todd ( aka Foxx). This man helped me tremendously. I did not want to leave him and go across the highway to purchase bulbs for my tail light. I will certainly be returning. Some people are just special and I am old enough to know the difference :) Fast speedy courteous service is what you should expect at this location. Thank you Foxx and team.

Jack was super friendly and helpful. He took time to explain what I needed, why I needed it and what took look for until I could have my vehicle serviced.

Called in for a part and was able to pick it up same day. While there, I ordered another part and was able to pick it up later that day. The staff was very helpful.

Not very helpful to me as I asked to check something on my vehicle they said we are a commercial auto parts store. Not long ago they would check ur engine warning light but not now, good bye advanced Auto will use a Mom & Pop auto store from now on!!

Very helpful and pleasant sales people 👍 great selection of whatever one would need for all phases of car and light truck repair! Plus free installation of batteries and wipers definitely a plus will go back again 😀.

I originally went to the store directly and bought mid level rear brake pads. On the drive back I heard some metal on metal rubbing so I thought new rotors was a good idea too. Lo and behold I used their online ordering system to do that and found that they heavily discount online orders (25%) at least the first time. I ordered new rotors and upgraded the brake pads to their top tier and returned my mid tier pads bought earlier the same day. Well the online ordering system is close but not accurate and when I picked them up at the store I asked if the parts would fit my car and they didn't. The manager canceled my original purchase and canceled my incorrect online parts order and got me the parts I needed at his max discount (20%) which was close enough to the online offer. They also have a cash back system for use at their stores. The only drawbacks in the transaction were that the store didn't have the rotors in stock but will have them tomorrow morning and that store managers can't match online discounts..

Guy working the desk seemed to not want to be there. Didn't have the parts we need, even though he thought he had one of the parts. I get that sometimes stores lack certain items, but everything I needed was available at the AutoZone across the street and the people were more friendly. I give 5 stars to businesses that meet my needs the first time, and this time Advanced Auto did not.

They can get parts for you for your old vehicle that no one else can get at a reasonable price I've been doing business Advanced Auto for about 10 or 15 years I'm very pleased with them thank you very much have a nice day
