Absolutely disgusting sanitation practices. Roselle Public Works services the dumpsters at our apartment complex, and I am beyond fed up with what happens when they empty them.
Dirty, foul-smelling liquid from the dumpsters is repeatedly left all over the parking lot. It appears they expect it to simply run into the drains, except it DOESN’T. It pools across the pavement, seeps into it, and then sits there stinking for days or even WEEKS. Residents are left walking through and parking around what is essentially rotting dumpster runoff.
The smell is absolutely vile, and I cannot understand how leaving filthy dumpster liquid sitting in a residential parking lot could possibly be considered an acceptable sanitation practice. The irony of a sanitation service leaving a property LESS sanitary after collection would almost be funny if residents weren’t the ones forced to live with it.
I’m a renter, so I’m not the person who contracts with this company, but I am absolutely one of the people who has to deal with the consequences. My kid and I have to endure it every day walking to our vehicle. Every parking lot in our complex is affected. This has happened repeatedly, and someone needs to take responsibility for it.
Dumpsters should be emptied without leaving disgusting, potentially hazardous liquid all over a residential property. If your method of waste collection leaves the parking lot smelling like garbage for weeks afterward, something is seriously wrong.
This needs to be investigated and stopped. It is disgusting, unacceptable, and residents deserve better.
Here we go again. After my first review, the truck driver now doesn't even make an attempt to take the garbage. Cans were left open on purpose so they cant claim I dispose waste different from kitchen garbage.
absolutely the worst there employee are very very disrespectful they throw my trash cans over my 6ft fence and then had the nerve to verbally insult me because i ask them no to do that anymore I’ve made Multiple comments about these to guys and still have the problem till this very day
Wow. So sad to read all these bad reviews. I was going to call them to complain that the garbage men throw our garbage cans all over the road and the wind here by the beach blows them into the middle of the road or into neighbors yards. But I’m not sure it will make a difference. I miss Berkley township and their giant big cans.
They are the absolute worst! They either skip every other house and don’t pick up your recyclables or they don’t come at all and you’re calling for two days to come and pick up your stuff!! I’m sorry that you actually have to get out of your truck and maybe move some cans. Then they sit there and throw the cans all over the place. DO YOUR JOB!!!!!
No responsibility for their inconveniences. I was literally waiting in my driveway for Other cars to pass by the Street that was filled with snow. He already cleaned the road along my driveway and eventually he was blocking other cars Because there’s not enough space for two cars to pass by at once due to the snow. So instead of moving back or being patient, He angled the snow sled in a way that he would push the snow onto my driveway so he can push himself along squeezing by other cars. Instead of helping me out when I honked my horn, he just kept driving and left me blocked by snow in my own driveway that already took hours to clean, as if I did not have anywhere to go… there are no repercussions for these people, just an inconvenience to my day and to my education, since I was on my way to class. Which they could care less about.
They are kind and I wanted to be kind for this holiday cheers, got up early and waited more than 1.5 hours just tip them but they failed to show up! As I went for coffee and to get gas, they were here before I returned. Out all the days, they come almost exactly the time of each early morning pickup (5:45 am) they decided to show up very late! Still a 5 star! Life isn’t perfect!
Not sure I can commit to getting up early again. Good intentions were there!
Im disgusting with Roselle, I have a full video from them this morning absolutely destroying my cans, the guys literally, over his head threw my cans into my wood fence, breaking the fence and breaking a lawn ornament we have had in our family for 20 yrs. All damage will be paid for this will not go away. Tomorrow morning the video will be everywhere on the web and Gloucester county will get a visit. What a trash company!
I’m really frustrated with the service from Roselle Public Works. I have video evidence of the trash collectors carelessly tossing my trash bin onto the street instead of placing it back on the sidewalk. Because of this, the wind carried my bin away, and now I can’t find it. This kind of negligence is disappointing, and I hope the department takes steps to ensure bins are handled with more care in the future.
There are clearly many different employees working for Roselle as garbage men. My garbage men over the years have proven to be nothing short of fantastic. I consider myself very fortunate to be on their route. They are great at their job and they are great people as I have learned over the years by their actions and behavior. They are considerate to children, and always have a positive welcoming attitude and I wish everyone could experience that and I wish those that did were more vocal about it. Thank you Roselle for the service you provide.
The garbage wasn’t picked up because of construction on my street. I called the next day and without promising anything, it was picked up by the time I got home. The next day the recycling got picked up and the garbage men waved at me. They are so friendly. Really excellent service!
I was charged by employees to take my trash! And it was neat and lined up perfectly for it to be trash the bags were all together the area was cleaned up.
I am extremely upset how rude and disrespectful these garbage men are!!! They do not make it safe for children to walk by the schools is one my concerns.They throw the garbage cans from the street to wherever they land. They layed and blocking all the sidewalk and even on the road left so makes it hazard to the drivers.I asked them several times and they talk so disrespectful and laugh! I am sorry that is very unprofessional and disrespectful! It only takes an extra second not saying they have be straight in aline but not roadway or sidewalks closing them all off especially by the schools. I would like management to correct this matter with their employees. Something needs to be done.
They never called me back about whether they picked up all the records & books that were put out on the corner of E 2nd & Chandler!!! I told them the items were listed on Craigslist as free but they took everything by the time I got there!!! So how the hell do you think I feel about this?
I have called you all day to ask why our cardboard has not been picked up. It makes it really hard as residents of Roselle to recycle properly when the cardboard has not been picked up. On your website it says the second and fourth Wednesday of the month and my cardboard has yet to be picked up. Help pelqse
