I was told by the guy working at 8 p.m. that they don’t do windshield wipers at night. He said, “They don’t want us to do them, but if you come during the day, that’s a service we offer.” When did this become a thing?

Great service once again. I needed my car remote battery changed. I didn't get their names, but the two on staff tonight (Wed) were amazing. They were able to install the battery successfully and it's not even their job to do this - they went above and beyond. Great customer service!

Completely refused to install new battery, even when I explained I live over an hour away and I couldn't come in the next day. Next time I'll pay the extra to go to autozone. ***My battery was a normal battery that did not need professional installation, and my husband and I put it in when I got home, staff was just lazy***

Tried to return an item and was rudely told no by the manager AJ. Didnt even bother to look at me or give me a valid reason. Employee Mike was super helpful tho. Wont return here due to the managers poor customer service

I was looking for a wheel lock key for my car and called Advance Auto Parts at Piscataway. I spoke to Gabe on the phone who offered to find the correct key. When I arrived at Advance Auto Parts, Gabe took one look at my wheel lug nuts and was able to figure out the right key that I needed. Gabe was really great and extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful!

Really, really, really, really, and let me be very very clear that they are REALLY looking incompetent. Anyone that knew anything that worked there is no longer there. If they can’t find it in the computer, you aren’t getting it forget anyone having any automotive experience there. It’s literally painful to watch them flounder with the simplest of things. Go to Napa, you have a better shot.

Boats , cars and trucks they have parts for it All...they are more advanced than Auto Zone and carry more parts and their systems cover more vehicles and boats & also for the 4 wheelers and Beach buggys...better selection and excellent customer service...they even had the 12v battery for my tesla optima 51r AGM. The location is convenient inside a strip mall with a huge parking lot.

I really like the fact that they install your battery for you for free. When you buy there Gold Battery, it comes with a three year Warranty, which is really nice. So, if, the battery dies before the warranty, they will replace that battery, for free of charge, which is really cool.

I'm a long time customer at this location. Yes there are larger stores elsewhere but most of the staff at the Stelton store are exceptional people. that's the main reason i continue to come back

Horrible customer service. Someone labeled the price incorrectly for the headlights I was about to purchase and Mike the manager refused to honor the price. Then he told me best buy wouldn't honor the price for him when they mislabeled so he wasn't going to do it for me.

Mike was great! He helped make sure I purchased the correct battery and installed it for free! He wouldn't even let me tip him! He saved me so much money and gave me hope since ever other shop I dealt with that day was trying to rip me off. Thanks again Mike!

Purchased a motor for my windshield wipers from this location about a month ago. I took the wiper to a mechanic to have the part installed, come to find out that the part they sold me was defective. I then took the part back to the store and explained that the part did not work and that I paid $85.00 to have the part installed. The manager then explained that they would order a new part that i can pick up the following day. When I explained that I would now have to pay the mechanic again to install the part ( Justifiably so ) The manager then gave me the number to their " escalations team. This is where the horror begins. I contacted someone from their escalations team, explained the situation, sent in receipts and was told I would be contacted within the next 7 days with an answer. I was contacted by Paul, a manager in the "escalations " department. Paul left me a voicemail with a reference number and a good time to contact him to follow up on my request. When I called back Paul was not in; However, I the young lady picked up the phone explained to me that they would only be able to refund me $53.00 of the $85.00 that I spent to have the motor installed. Thinking this is extremely unfair and unreasonable - I then asked her to please explain to me the reasoning behind this decision. In a very rude and condescending tone she explained to me that they do not cover installation of parts, just the parts themselves. I then asked how is this so, when there would be no reason for me to have the part installed again, if the part that was sold to me 2 weeks prior was not defective. After being talked down to, with no solution in sight, I asked this person to please speak with a supervisor. The person refused to even escalate the call until I told her that the call may be being recorded. She then let me know that the call was being forwarded to the district manager, who would call me within 48 hours. I received a call this morning, from someone that said he was the district manager. Quite frankly - he sounded more like a cashier than a district manager, by the way that he spoke and the defensive tone that he spoke in. After about 5 minutes of explaining what I thought would be an easy problem to him, he continued to tell me that there was nothing that they could do. He even said " I don't know who the heck promised you $53.00 back, but I wouldn't give you anything back. Some " district manager " , huh? Just wanted to share some feedback of how this company treats their customers. Needless to say - i will not be returning to this store. And would not advise anyone else to.

Great place for your car parts you need. You can order online for pick up or go directly to the store to find the correct part if you are not sure and they can order it for you if they don't have it. There always out to help you

The service at this location is outstanding. George was incredibly helpful. He was certainly the most knowledgable person I have worked with in any auto parts store. I live in NYC and come to Piscataway for business quite often and will definitely make this my primary place to get anything I need for my car.
