Great experience getting my car serviced here! The work was done quickly and professionally, and everything was clearly explained. The owner Chiru is especially great at customer service — friendly, honest, and truly cares about customers. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but this place definitely delivers. Highly recommend!
I gave my car for Trasmission, brake oil and air filter..had an excellent service and the way Chiru and team explained the details is pretty helpful..we can trust on a blind note. Very economical at the end 😅😅😊
DO NOT GO TO THIS AUTO REPAIR SHOP. AS they dont do good jobs for repair. I had my car went for repair and next day it was on fire due to rapir shop fault so I dont recommend anyone use this repair shop. There mechanics not trained to work on cars repair.
Earlier in the week I spoke to Gary with regards to work I needed done on my truck. It was my 1st time ever speaking with him. When I arrived to the shop for my appointment he remembered my name even before I introduced myself. That's impressive to me. I was provided with excellent service and very reasonably priced. My vehicle was returned back to me in a timely manner. Gary was professional and very pleasant. For once I didn't walk away feeling like I had been taken advantage of; which is normally how I feel after leaving most mechanic shops. I think I've finally found a shop which I can trust with my vehicle.
Awesome and honest mechanics. I recently purchased a used vehicle and had it serviced at Omkara Auto prior to inspection. The mechanics were very professional and knowledgeable of the repairs my vehicle reqired. My vehicle passed inspection with no issues. The service fees were very reasonable and I was not pressured into making unnecessary additional purchases. I would definitely recommend having your auto serviced at Omkara Auto Repairs...
Great service and knowledgable staff! The mechanics did a good job with my rear brake replacement and oil change. Prices are fair, and they are honest with problems, fixing whatever they can in-house without overcharging you for new parts you don't need. My whole family has been going to them for car service and maintenance for the last 5 years!
[Update after 4 yrs] For +10 years now continue to use this as my go-to for all things automobile. In between changed Rolla to Beemer to Mazda and had 2nd car Nissan, Santa Fe serviced. From simple oil change to complex electrical work, brakes, transmission, tires, alignment, everything. Never have I left dissatisfied either with their prices or quality of work, yet.
Honest and truthful. These days that's all that matter really for an auto body shop. Coupled with reasonable prices this setup is hard to beat. I had my Rolla 07 regularly serviced there including suspension work, water pump, brakes and never had issues with quality, price or timeliness.
The BEST auto repair place in town. They are so caring, listen to the customers as if you feel like you're part of their workplace family, yet very professional when it comes to getting the job done.

Rajan Bhai & Girish Bhai are gem of people who happens to be great auto mechanics. We would highly recommend them for any foreign or domestic car repairs. Nice people take time but work is excellent.
Rajan is one of the most humble and knowledgeable mechanic I have ever met. He understands the issue and then tries to resolve it with minimum cost to the customer, unlike others who usually just replace stuff to avoid more work. I looked at the reviews and went there. My jeep had brake lines leaked, and he fixed it within 2-3 hours. The price was reasonable. His dad sits on the front desk and is an amazing person too. They are good technicians and good human beings too. I will go to them for all my work now on. You have to give him a try. He is totally worth! Thanks Rajan and team.
I am so disappointed in this place. I’ve been going here for a while. The owner is super nice. However I feel like they take advantage of people lacking knowledge in cars. I had a problem one day where my oil light and battery light came on at the same time and they told me it was because of my timing belt that I needed to get it fixed ASAP, that it had a crack in. Total for everything maybe $700. I took it to get a second opinion. Did a diagonistic test and it came out to be my crank shaft position sensor. A $200 DOLLAR JOB. Got it fixed and have had no problems to this day. I’ve been taking my car here to get oil changes for the past year almost and they NEVER once informed me of all the problems my car had. I thought my car had no problems until One day my car would not turn on. I thought i just needing to replace my starter. Nope. I wish. I had to pay $1,900 to fix my car because of all the problems it had! You guys let my axels, wheel barrings, right breaks, and calibers go bad... How could you guys let me drive my car like this? These are all things the mechanic told me you can see when you do an oil change. You guys didn’t care for me as your customer; you just wanted to take money from me. Which BTW I do have to get my timing belt fixed but I still have plently of time. So I guess that was the only thing you guys were half accurate about. Now I may not know much about cars, but you guys letting my axels go bad is such a safety hazard. I could have gotten into a serious accident. I am Never coming here again. Do your self a favor and avoid this place if you want your car to end up the same way.
I've been going here for any car problems for the past >15 years. Either they can fix the problem or give me reliable advice on how to get it fixed. Either way, I trust them 100% and they're the first place I go to when I have any car problems. Even after I moved an hour away! They don't overcharge - they honestly give a reasonable rate for the fix and that's it. I highly recommend going to Omkara Auto Repair to everyone.
Mr. Girish & Mr. Rajen have helped me with many repairs on my car. They have always been flexible and give their best advice. My family members go to him as well. They are very friendly as well. Great service!
My wife and I have been bringing our vehicles here for repairs for years, and we have never been let down once. Girish is a great guy and treats everyone with the greatest of respect, and he really cares about the customer. The mechanics are knowledgeable and do top notch work. If you haven't been there before, try them once and you will not be disappointed.
Omkara Auto is very good place and very professional people. Mr Rajan the mechanic he knows ins and out of the cars when it comes to fixing he will tell you exactly how much will it cost on the spot not like other mechanic.
True and honest mechanic. Gave me the best price amongst 3 other mechanics. Fixed the car with the least possible pricing. Other 2 mechanic were charging twice the amount. Will definitely recommend.
The most honest auto repair place in the area hands down. The owner Rajan is himself a certified mechanic and he is super polite, humble, and above all altruistic. A very charitable person. It seems he does what he does because he probably loves doing it. It does not seem his only motive is money, something uncommon to find in this day and age.
If you are mechanically savvy or totally ignorant - you should try this place. If you ask technical questions he will happily explain. I give five stars to the establishment and ten stars to Rajan!
I do a lot of my own auto repairs but some jobs require access to specialized tools that professionals have, and for these jobs I need to take it in. But I am very wary of where I take it to and what they do when I am not looking. However, by sheer luck I have discovered this place, and boy I am glad I did. Rajan is not just any mechanic or business owner, he is an awesome guy. He is polite, courteous, HONEST, and skilled. I stress on honesty, because in my experience that is a rare quality found in the automotive repair business – and he IS 100%. He is not a typical guy to make money by hook or by crook. Quite the opposite, a humble person that shuns greed and runs his business ETHICALLY and honestly. Please try his shop and find out for yourself. This is a great place to get work done. Don’t believe anyone that says anything to the contrary, you have to experience it firsthand. I recommend Rajan highly and really wish him success. It’s rather a privilege to have an honest reliable auto repair shop within reach.

Rajan bhai and his team are awesome. Their service is excellent. They always give me the best suggestion regarding servicing my 2006 Nissan Altima car. for servicing I always take my car to them and Rajan bhai does the inspection. Also Girish bhai is very good, polite and nice.

I usually do not write a review but by looking at the 1 star review I had to write about Omkara Auto in Piscataway, NJ. I have been going there for many years now and all my cars, personal and business, is being taken care by Mr. Rajan and his team. I have not seen more honest man then him. He always gives us a heads up before he does any work and never has he charged more than he quoted. His charges are very reasonable. I have recommended this place to lots of my friends and they have thanked me for my recommendation. So folks any problem with your car then Omkara Auto is the place to go.
