Horrible customer service, extremely unnecessary long wait times, under stocked, unknowledgeable staff. Bunch of kids working the counter who have ZERO customer service skills and slowly, nonchalantly walking around “looking” for parts. Waited 45 minutes to be told my oil filter wasn’t in stock and I made an appointment & arrived early. Do not recommend. Good old fashioned customer service is gone. Training needs to be improved and implemented to ensure customer satisfaction.

Tire service associate is absolutely rude and should receive proper training about customer service and proper behavior. management should pay attention to their team’s attitudes Will not use this center again

Very disappointing experience with the Auto Care Center. I purchased 4 tires online during Black Friday and scheduled installation at this store. My first appointment was canceled due to weather, which I completely understood. However, when I tried to reschedule, I was told the store could not hold the tires. Because of this, the system automatically canceled my order — this was NOT customer-initiated. As a result, I lost my Black Friday pricing even though the issue was caused by store handling and system limitations. I contacted customer service multiple times and even spoke with supervisors, but the store was unwilling or unable to help, and no meaningful resolution was offered. This situation could have been easily avoided with basic flexibility. Instead, the customer pays the price for a system failure. I would not recommend using this Auto Care Center for tire installation.

The price is good if you’re willing to waste more than two hours of your time! My appointment was 8:00 am. I arrived on time they spent one hour to find my tires! And more than another hour to install it!! Technicians have a terrible attitude and they don’t care about wasting peoples time! Bad experience, will never come back again.

Be prepared to stay here for at least 2.5 hours just to change tires that were already shipped- but will tell you that they “were looking for it for 1 hour” which is why it took so long. Along with being the last of 10 people waiting even though you were here before them all. I also didn’t even get a simple “sorry for the wait”, not even a look in the eye actually. Just a “what car you waiting for” with his back turned to me, here’s your receipt, and dangles the keys in front of my face like they didn’t just waste my time. This place just has a bunch of kids with a job, not even any responsibility. I regret coming here. Don’t make the same mistake

Usually we walk in to get an oil change with no appointment made ahead of time because 1. Whenever we make a call, they hang up on us when we ask and 2. They take walk-ins as they have always done for us I walk in, nobody is ever at the front desk and there is not a bell An employee walks in getting tires and going back and forth with the same paperwork in his hand and looks like he is constantly lost or something. Sees me but never once says “I’ll be right there with you” Finally gets to the register to handle a phone that he didn’t even pick up after it was ringing more than 5 times as I was standing there and just says “Can I help you?” Not a “sorry for the wait” and told me i have to make an appointment for an oil change They hire anyone these days

Scheduled a 7:00 AM tire change and staff didn’t open the shop until 7:30 AM. Then they tell me my tire order was cancelled and to call Walmart.com. Finally order tires they had in stock. 8:45 AM my car is still sitting on the lift no one working on it. How can you be the first appointment and people after you have come and gone.

Terrible customer service. Won't pick up phone, hard to book appointments, and looks for any excuse to refuse service. Had a new tire god bad 3 weeks after install... they tried to tell me that I needed to call the manufacturer for warranty replacement until I read the warranty and policy on the back of the receipt. They refuse to do headlight restoration if it rained or will rain within +/- 1 week. I also needed to replace my 12V battery on my Prius. Despite me booking the appointment in person 3 weeks in advance, when I got their they refused service as they didn't know a Prius is a hybrid car and their policy (that's not in writing) says they can't replace the 12V non-hybrid battery on a prius as it's a liability for them to replace 12V batteries.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this tire center—poor service, lack of organization, and complete disregard for customers' time. I booked an appointment a week in advance to install new tires on my recently purchased car, which I rely on daily. Four out of five tires (including the spare) were either bad or leaking, so this was urgent. Then, just two hours before my appointment, it was suddenly canceled due to “tire delays.” Confused, I called the tire center—only to be told they actually had the tires but didn’t know why my appointment was canceled. Worse yet, they were now "fully booked" for the entire day and told me to reschedule… for another week! Since I couldn’t afford to risk another week of delays, I called Walmart support. The representative admitted this happens a lot and, after speaking with her manager, told me to go to the tire center anyway. She even gave me a number to call so the Walmart manager could speak with the tire center manager directly. (Why couldn’t they handle this themselves?) When I arrived, the front desk attendant insisted they didn’t have the tires—until I pointed out that they actually did. She then blamed the manager for not putting them into the system. After waiting another 30 minutes, the manager never even came out to address the situation. Then, they messed up again. I specifically asked to keep one of the five wheels as a spare since the other four were in terrible condition. Instead, they kept the wrong tire—a 20-year-old, completely unreliable one. Since it was raining heavily and I didn’t notice at the time, I only realized the mistake the next day when I saw that they had kept the tire that had already let me down before. I tried calling them five times over an hour—no one picked up. So, I had to drive an hour each way just to fix their mistake in person. After explaining everything, they finally found my old tire and swapped it out. To top it all off, right after they returned my tire I discovered that the tire pressure in the newly installed tires was ranging from 26 to 38 PSI and the nipple caps were a couple spins from falling off… This just proves how careless and unprofessional they are. This was by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced—a complete waste of time, filled with incompetence and zero accountability. Avoid this place at all costs! Upd: after complaining a guy named Tommy called me and told me nothing they can do. Great job!

Went to Walmart Auto Care to get my tire patched up. Was greeted by Marlin and he was great! Give the man a raise! It was very busy and of course understaffed in the auto care center, but Marlin remained upbeat and very helpful. Service tech Alexis and John did great work. Thanks guys!

Came in yesterday for a tire repair that should be covered by warranty and was told to come back today. Come in today and I’m told a manager can look into it for me in 2 hours, but I will have to buy a new tire because mine is no longer in stock. So, don’t purchase the road hazard warranty, it’s useless.

Had an appointment for 4 tires replacement. At 10 am. The job was done by 12 pm. It took another 1 hour to complete the paperwork ?which left me furious and outraged at the incompetence of their staff. The job was performed well and the price was good but waiting for paperwork for over an hour? Cmon ?

Very poorly managed!!! Went there 7 am when opened. However I didn’t have an appointment. There were three 7 o’clock slots for appointments. Only one person showed up. It was already 7:21 AM. I asked why couldn’t they take a walk in? They told me management said they couldn’t then spoke to manager who had another manager who had to speak to a team leader before they could answer a couple of simple questions, they explain to me that the shop isn’t ready yet but yet it’s 20 minutes past opening. I said so if I make it 7 o’clock appointment should I come here at 7:20? I said why wouldn’t you wanna make the company money when people didn’t show up for their appointment and you have somebody standing here right in front of you? It took them about 20 minutes to pull my car in…… The car was in the bay for 10 minutes with the hood up then they drive the car out. I asked them if the oil change is done wow that was quick? Then I was told oh they were waiting for the bay. Which made no sense…… this place is a joke… pay more and go elsewhere!!

Don't go here if you don't have an appointment and don't know the people in the shop. They will slot in familiar walk ins and even move up appontments until it's literally dead before they service you. I came in at 10:30 am on 08/15 for oil change and left after a 2 hr wait. The reason i left was because at 12:30 pm i heard them reassuring another customer whose car was already up on the lift that his chrysler would be done soon, even though he appointment his appointment was not til 1:00 pm. That means they ignored the walk ins and serviced this guys an hour earlier.

I had too much go wrong between 930am when I placed my order online and 630 pm when I actually left the shop. My biggest complaint however, is that the manager Sashi leaves his employees in the weeds. When I finally asked to speak with him he showed up, went to check on my car, gave me an update and rushed to leave again. He claims he is managing the store as well. His employees called him repeatedly because I wanted to speak with him and he didn't answer. I spoke to employees in home and garden to get me the general store manager and I was told at that hour they've already gone home and there wasn't a manager available. My car was done at 6, they only have one employee taking care of customers inside and 2 working on cars. They're short staffed and Sashi knows this but instead chooses to leave his guys to fend for themselves while he's busy hiding out and ignoring calls. I literally screamed his name in the store 3 times before he magically appeared like Beetlejuice with the excuse that he was helping customers. Sir, you can't answer your phone or check on your Auto Dept for a whole half hour bc you're helping customers then you can't multitask and you can't manage. I left enraged not only because I had so many issues while my car was being worked on but also bc there is absolutely no regard for customer service/satisfaction. Get a new manager!

Got smart and made an appointment for 9am Sunday on the Wednesday before. Tires ordered, everything confirmed... I arrived, checked-in and was told "it'll be about an hour." Great. Good. I'll walk around. 1 hour later, the car isn't even in the bay yet. 2 hours later, still sitting in the lot. Hour 2½, after tracking down the manager, it finally gets pulled in. Hour 3 and I'm finally done getting TWO TIRES INSTALLED. On a Sunday morning, they have one person from 7am, another from 9am and then NO ONE ELSE until 11am when two more arrive, and that's hoping no one calls out. There's zero chance to catch-up when you have 2 people at the busiest time. WHAT'S THE POINT OF MAKING AN APPOINTMENT THEN?!

The website doesn't allow you to book a tire rotation so I called and the phone rang for 10 minutes. This store only has one employee work the desk for the auto center and she was the only nice part about coming to Walmart. I drove 20 minutes to find out they don't do walk ins and I have to make an appointment for the next week for a rotation. If the website just allowed me to book it myself or if the store had enough people to work the auto desk I wouldn't have had to waste my time driving only to find out I can't get anything done today.

I had 4 tires installed in Dec 2023, they put hubcap installed wrong in 3 tires, in one tire air valve was totally covered with hub cap.

Bought tires online and scheduled an install here. Came early for my appointment and was told they refuse to do the install since the tires are 'to low profile' [245 40 18] on my stock audi. This was after I called the store, confirmed the installation and asked if the warranty I bought was paid for online or the store. The so called manager that came to talk to me was completely useless and couldn't care less. Go to a real tire spot. Cheaper isn't better

I purchased 4 new tires to get installed, but he didn't want to do the job on my older nissan, so he said my lug studs are bad. FYI had new hubs & wheel bearings installed 7 months ago. The next day, I got them installed somewhere else, no problem. I felt like ripping his lip ring out for not doing his job at Walmart.

I had to change some headlight bulbs and taillight bulbs and decided to take my car to Walmart and have them do it. The price is very reasonable. Everyone was so nice, from the people at the register to the mechanics. They were quick and got the job done. I'll definitely be back.

This is the most disorganized and ghetto place to bring your car. My mechanics on vacation so I had to come here last minute and it was awful, no one was assisting the one worker with his long line, a person walked in and literally stood right in front of me after I was waiting for a half hour and I'm not about to argue in a Walmart that's beneath me so I let it be. And I specifically asked them to fill my tires with the oil change which they did not do. I feel bad for my car, I feel they did it a disservice.

I wish I could give Walmart auto care zero stars. They ruined the covering on my emergency break lines of my car. I took them to install new tires and they weights they used were too big. The weights rubbed up against the covering and wore them down to nothing while I was driving. They then proceeded to tell me this could have happened from anything. Don’t bring your car to Walmart. They hire people who don’t know what they’re doing.

I came to Walmart this weekend because I ordered tired and thought I mistakenly canceled my order. I spoke with Christian and Alex in Auto Service department. Christian checked my order and was able to confirm I still had my order. Alex went to check if my tires had arrived and confirmed they were there. He also helped me reschedule my appointment for next available day. I really do appreciate them for helping me very helpful and professional.

So ordered for tires to arrive Wed for a Thurs installation. Showed up Thursday one of my tires was still not delivered. A courtesy call would have been nice. I had to drive 40 mins from work to get here for my appointment. Upside, they worked with me and fitted my car with what they had in stocks which was not preferred brand , but was comparable. Ok service.

Yes, you might have to wait over an hour to get your tires installed and they might not always pick up the phone when trying to call for an appointment. However, i felt like when they picked up and during the visit i got good professional service when changing two tires. Hai did a good job explaining warranty before service and afterwards mentioning what he has marked that was recommended.
