I’ve been a member here for over three years and have continuously stored my bike there over that time. They have only ever treated me and my bike with respect. Thanks guys!

In da Clurb? We all fam Yes this is technically a garage, but I shall speak to the value I’ve benefitted and always shared with Roger and Club Moto, which is- community. I admire their motto, or shall we say, the Club Moto-motto “everyone is welcome.” And indeed, I’ve created best memories with the best people and continue to do so through Roger and the openness he has for people, and in giving back to his community. From therapy Thursday garage kick backs, coffee shop or brewery hangouts, hosting holiday parties for us, moto camping trips, starting and hosting Jersey City’s DGR (Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride), and the latest trip to Shenandoah National Park- I am grateful for Club Moto and it has a special place in my heart.

Gotta throw up a review of this place. It's been a long time coming. Im Canadian. Bought my first bike and took a road trip to NYC for something to do one weekend. It was a great trip. I didn't know enough about my bike and my bike was not in proper condition for such a long trip. My chain kept loosening and fell off when I was starting to head home. It was Sunday night and NOTHING was open. These guys were just hanging out but took me in and got my chain back on, tightened me up, gave me some self maintenance training and got me back on my way home. Great group of guys, I can honestly say. NOT just because they helped me but I felt nothing but good vibes from all of them.

Left my bike sitting idle for a few seasons, and the carburetor was in dire straits. Roger and Syed at Club Moto worked their magic and brought my motorcycle roaring back to life! These guys are not just mechanics—they're wizards who turn wrenches into wands. If you're looking to join a welcoming bike community that’s safe, growth-minded, and can fix up your ride while teaching you the ropes, Club Moto is the place to be. Huge thanks to the team for reviving my bike and my passion for the road!

What started out with a wonderful idea, a community space to store and work on motorcycles, has ended up a dismal wreck. The main problem is that the owner cannot decide whether he is a community space or a motorcycle repair shop. Work bays that were advertised as available to do your own work in if you bought a membership were taken up 99% of the time by bikes being repaired by the owner and his 'mechanics'. Tools? good luck finding them because they're scattered all over. If you hurt yourself or something happens to your bike? Good luck as the owner carries NO insurance. If you're storing a bike here there are things to be aware of. The shop itself is caked in dust and grime, if something falls on the ground you're better off throwing it out and starting fresh. Besides being stored next to an active working environment, bikes themselves are packed so tightly that fairing scratches from other handlebars are a constant occurrence. There's no organization, no set spots, and to get to the back patrons are constantly shuffling and sliding past bikes they don't own. Roger Nicholas the owner, who I considered a friend at one point, has stolen my motorcycle equipment, parts, and tools. I had to file a lawsuit against Club Moto to regain control of my motorcycles, and while it got me my motorcycles back Roger refuses to give me back anything else. That Pitbull forward-armed rear stand you see in the shop? That's mine. That SXV 550 rebuild kit you see on the shelf in the back? That's mine. The list is extensive and includes a motorcycle ramp, a CLC toolbag, Expensive Mitutoyo digital micrometers, a micron multimeter, a valve spring compressor, and so on. If you use those just be aware you're using stolen tools. The best part? The motorcycles were returned to me with no keys which means the petty little owner is keeping them out of spite. ALSO someone seems to have stolen the flashed ECU out of my Ducati Hypermotard while there. I wouldn't touch this place with a 39-and-a-half foot pole. As an addendum I have attached a photo of how a brand new bike is treated when a customer drops it off.

When I first stumbled upon this establishment, it exuded a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Eventually, I became part of the team and quickly realized that the 'owner' lacked a deep understanding of this industry. Roger, whom I once considered a friend, appeared more preoccupied with the facility's aesthetics and image, often neglecting vital operational aspects. The disregard for patrons' motorcycles, and hesitancy to make critical business decisions hinders progress and poses a potential risk to Club Moto's longevity. While I maintain reservations about its future, I sincerely hope for a positive turn of events. On a brighter note, the facility serves as a fascinating hub for motorcycle enthusiasts to congregate, connect, and share their passion. The members are a diverse mix of individuals, some incredibly welcoming and others with a touch of eccentricity.

If you’re looking to learn how to ride a motorcycle, this is the best place! Highly recommended. The best of the best teacher! One on one lessons. Love it!

Recently stopped in to check out winter storage and membership options. No go for me. Couldn’t get a clear price from anyone that worked there, as well as being over packed with bikes pretty much stacked on top of each other. Better off getting a storage unit for winter

Took my GSXS1000 for a clutch change. Bike ended up sitting there for months and job was done incorrectly. Eventually had to bring it to a certified shop to fix everything they messed up including running the motor with little to no oil.

Extremely poor ownership. The social media post they use does not match up with the actual setup of what is going on there. Found out the hard way that non of their techs are certified and multiple workers have left due to never getting paid for months… the pictures on their website are from an Mens mental health event which they are using to advertise for their own business!

I would like to give a big thank you to the owner Roger... I have a suzuki vstrom dl650 stop bye to ask a question about a problem I was having with my bike Roger being knowledgeable about bikes and his business took his time out to help me. after some discussion about the bike and the issue I was having he found out the problem. Thank u again Roger...

Cool concept, horribly run business. Saw them post on FB in one of the rider groups for a group ride and hang out. Group rides always left late by at least 30 minutes. People started leaving and went off on their own.

Cool idea but not the place to be. If you really like to ride your motorcycle DO NOT GO TO CLUB MOTO!!! They are a ripoff on everything they do from their shop service to the so called events and memberships where there is so much to do…NOT. But in all seriousness if you are a novice or experienced rider you should avoid CLUB MOTO. there are much better options out there. No knee dragging here, only dragging brains!

Seems this business has lots of inflated reviews by its owner and its paying group members. I brought my bike here to be repaired by the owner. He took over three months only to leave it in a half dissembled state when I got it back. All the parts he bought were incompatible with my bike. The bike sustained additional damage in his care. I ended up repairing it on my own . I’m still waiting to get my money back. Aside from the repair-help this shed isn’t a great place to store your vehicle. If you intend to keep your bike here over the winter season you’ll definitely want to winterize since it doesn’t look like it has any real protection from the elements. Maybe look into a crash cage too so it stays in one piece while it’s there.

TOO MANY BIKES TOO LITTLE SPACE. Considered joining the group/workshop but after taking a look around NO GO! Way too many bikes for way too small of a shop. Bikes are centimeters away fr each other and find it very hard that this is safe and secure parking. Seems like bikes get scratched there. Also the owner is Money Hungry!!!

When I first joined Club Moto was an awesome place. Joined as a member and quickly grew to love the people. As time went on recently a lot has changed. Full service on bikes has stopped and only maintenance is offered. There are only a few really Active members left that ride as a group 3-5. Sadly I see this business going down hill but I hope they can prove me wrong. Techs are not certified either… if looking at membership be careful mixing friends with owner Roger and where his business lines stand. Get all quotes fully upfront to avoid non clear invoices. Seems to have gone downhill recently…

My Vespa wouldn’t start after the winter. Roger picked it up the next day ($65) & brought it to the shop. They charge $125 a hr for work which seems reasonable. Was fixed the same day with a new battery. Will be back, thanks Mike & Roger!

I would like to say a huge thank you to my instructor Roger, he is an amazing teacher, always giving good positive advice, with patience and very supportive. I am someone that has some experience on a bike but I learned so many new things and technics. I definitely recommend them. Thank you so much for everything.

Very professional and personable people work here. It is tough to find a good bike mechanic, and these guys were friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are fair. If you want good work done come here.

Solid shop. Solid social club. Anyone who knows bikes knows what this place is. A great addition to JC, a great addition to the city and the riding community. A beginner friendly environment with tons of expert rider about. Rider safety seminars, storage, maintenance, group rides, and lots of knowledge and good times within those walls and throughout the club. I love to hate on places, but I can’t say that they’re doing anything less than great things over there and I encourage any rider or potential rider to drop by and ask some questions and get involved in “our “ community. Ride on!

Personally the shop looks cool and if you need a space for storage this is the spot. But DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIKE THERE to get diagnosed or for any mechanical problems. My 09 Suzuki gsxr was there for 3 weeks just for the owner “roger” to say it was the ECU. When really it was the tip over sensor on top of the ecu. Thanks for wasting my time and charging me $310 to see my bike outside in the rain

Awesome place and awesome dudes. Make everyone feel welcome. Very responsive and easy to work with if you need to get access to your bike or just for winter storage.

Roger @ Club Moto NJ is a great motorcycle teacher. I took a beginner lesson with him and he was patient and gave great advice on how to be a safe rider. I would highly recommend him if you are looking to learn to ride!

Place is a rip off. Guy charged me alot of money, put cheap bs parts that he replaced on the bike.. Had the bike for 2 months, and realistically didnt do a good job. Came to pick the bike up wires we’re still all over the place. Said he fixed lights on the bike.... still dont work.... Said he changed the oil, oil was not changed. Should of knew it was going to be bad when the guy came to tow my bike without a ramp. Would not recommend this place.. Go there and park your bike outside to look cool, thats all this place is good for. This place is brutal.

I just got my R6 in NYC and don't have a place to work on it. It is my habit to have a maintenance session soon whenever I buy a used motorcycle or car. I stumbled upon Club Moto, and Roger rented a space to me for 85$/day. The space is equipped, and I have my undisturbed corner in the shop. In one day of time, I knocked out a laundry list for my new R6, chain cleaning, rear alignment, fork oil change, engine oil change, steering head bearing adjustment, front alignment, fuel pressure test, coil pack test. Roger also helped me with the tire changes with no extra charge, taught me a few things about my bike. He's a very calm and inviting person. Had good chats with him during breaks. Nice place to work on my motorcycle and make a few friends over all.

Ive been storing my bikes there for almost 3 years. I never had any problem and the service received after the ownership change has been fantastic. I highly recommend the Club Moto to my fellow riders and friends.

This is an awesome place! The manager is very knowledgeable and helpful. It was also a great place for me to meet riders and build relationships. I will always come here for any need for my bike.

Felt obligated to review given the skewed score. Good owner here, supportive of bike community in JC. Offers space to wrench, hang out and get to know other bikers. Only negative is space can be kind of tight sometimes, but other bikers and owner are always happy to rearrange to free up more area.
