This company is terrible and not professional at all very bad at service and communication. Not prepared at all and the owner said WE DONT HELP PEOPLE NO MORE.

i had Tone come out twice for me and he got the job done. he was able to fit and tow my car inside a car shop entrance that was pretty tight. he knows what he’s doing
Worst Towing company, they are looting, they are charging for admin fee of $25, credit card processing fee $15 on top of storage fee + Fuel Surcharge Fee, when you question, they don't have answers, the lady is very rude.
I just wanna say thank you for sending tone the truck driver cuz I believe he was the only man for the job after calling three tow company's removing a big body car out of a tight narrow walk threw drive way..he made me a believer n now officially THE GOAT!!!! N management shall call him that too....
When I arrived at the lot, the woman at the front desk initially agreed to accept my credit card. But as soon as I mentioned I was planning to contest the charge, she suddenly changed her mind and rudely demanded cash only — claiming now that cards were no longer accepted. She then called the police on me for wanting to pay by card, even though I had already paid and had a receipt in hand!
The fees posted at the entrance were completely different from those shown on my invoice. The posted rate was $150 plus $30/day, but I was charged $100 plus $35/day, and to top it off, they added a mysterious $25 "flat rate" fee just to jump-start my car because the battery had died during impound.
The whole operation feels shady and exploitative. Avoid this place if you can, and if you have no choice — document everything. This was the most stressful and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had.
If I could give a 0 I would. Lady answering the phone is rude& acts like a caveman with no common decency. I TRIED to ask if I had the right company and she started yelling at me??
Jay was amazing ! He was so helpful, even helped with figuring out what happened to my jeep. He was kind, respectful and very professional - truly hope they keep more resourceful ppl like himself on the team
Truchan Towing & Recovery relieved so much stress for me when my vehicle wouldn’t start. I had a scheduled appointment to tour a daycare for my toddler and we were able to make it on time! They showed up within just 20 minutes and only charged $55, which was such a relief. The technician was incredibly helpful, even recommending a jumper for my vehicle, which I purchased and has been working great. It was the best and quickest service I’ve ever had for a jumpstart. I highly recommend them to everyone!
My car was towed to a different towing company and I couldn’t find the location. I stopped into Truchan to ask for assistance to find the correct location. Every employee was so kind, respectful, and helpful! After my experience with the towing company that had my car, Truchan is unmatched. I would recommend them to anyone. They truly helped me in a time of stress!

I was in an unfortunate car accident and my car was towed here. I took an Uber here and was having a bad day, but Grace was more than nice and accommodating. I recommend Truchan towing!
No one wants to go to a tow yard but I’m happy my car was at Truchan the team and everyone was great and easy to work with. They even stayed open an hour past close helping me get the car rekeyed! Thanks again for all the help.
I encountered one of your drivers who, rather than following traffic rules, blocked an entire intersection in the heavily congested area of Journal Square, where JFK, SIP, and Bergen intersect. This driver from Truchan Towing entered the already crowded intersection just as their traffic light was turning yellow. Instead of stopping behind the solid line to prevent blocking the intersection and worsening the traffic situation, the driver chose to disregard the rules and impatiently maneuvered through the intersection. This reckless behavior left me with serious doubts about your towing company.
Update after Owner Response: Your driver was not picking up or dropping up a vehicle. They were just driving through JSQ and instead of stopping behind the solid line to prevent blocking the intersection and exacerbating traffic congestion, the driver chose to disregard this traffic etiquette.
Car was taken here after an accident...The people who work here are conniving and rude.
I understand companies have to follow a certain "policy". Most companies will explain the "policy" to customers instead of trying to fish for certain information....and being hung up on when asking questions about the weird questions is being rude
my vehicle was towed my truchan towing and for some reason there were several things missing from my vehicle. i went to the tow yard and try file and complait about some missing items not saying they stole them or anything just missing the owner tells me how do i know it was them and yells at me at kicks me out for no reason when all i wanted to do was file a complaint she didnt even want to hear about it she said how do i know it was them how do i know here driver even towed the car all these crazy things then tells me to leave or im tresspassing at that point . long story short these people are thief literally !!!!!!!
I was visiting my kids grandmother and my car was towed at her senior citizen residence. I called the owner She told me to get there by 6:30 and I got there by 6:20 and she refused to give me my car, they were long gone. My kids and I were stranded and they did not care....all to get overnight fees from me the following morning. To top it off this happened on valentines day!!!
If I could give this establishment no stars I would! We were directed to Truchan towing and recovery from a clients insurance company to recover a vehicle for one of our clients! First the yard doesn’t pick up their phone first red flag then to make matters worst we send a tow with a signed contract on how this company accepts payment (Truchan) from insurance company, when are tow arrives they say they can only take cash when PO order specifically says company check. Either this company has someone in office stealing from them directly or they’re just rude. And to make matters worse office people are rude! I don’t know what kinda business your running but this place is incompetent.BEWARE THIS COMPANY HANDLES CLIENTS VERY DISRESPECTFULLY
Excellent service! We are from out of town and had a flat tire. The tow truck arrived within the hour and met us where we’d left the vehicle. The driver was friendly and professional. It was a fairly quick and easy trip to the tire shop. The driver gave us some pointers about the city and where to eat or walk to while we waited for the car to be serviced. Great service, would definitely recommend!
One of our vans broke down and after calling several other tow companies that were recommended I called Truchan Towing. The gentleman took my info and said a truck will be there within 30 minutes. 10 minutes later the truck showed up, loaded the van and off to the mechanic it went. I spent more time calling other companies then it took for the driver to hook up the van and get rolling. VERY efficient company and we will call them first going forward.
Truchan is incredible. I had a special need towing project with a fast deadline and they stepped up to help me out. Super communicative, super friendly, excellent work. They really saved my butt. I give them my highest recommendation - they won't do you wrong.
I must say I have utilized the services of Truchan Towing on a few occasions and both times I was shocked by their pleasantry. The woman who answers the phone was kind, understanding, and very helpful. The truck arrived in a timely manner, the interior was clean, and the driver was cordial. Above all else I received timely and professional service. If I ever find myself in a pickle in the Jersey City/ Northern area I will not hesitate but call Truchan Towing.
We had to call them to tow our truck back to Bayonne and they were there very quickly. The process was efficient and everyone that we dealt with was knowledgeable and courteous. We were very happy with the service that we received and recommend them 100% to anyone else needing towing services in the area. Thank you for the great service!

They are nothing but a bunch of irresponible wanna be cowboys who have no idea how to properly tow an expensive car. Took them 8 hours to illegally tow my car from a private garage.
They did $25,000 worth of damage to my Bentley and tried to cover the damage by using black tape and then denying it completely.
Luckily everything was caught on tape.

These are low lifers, dangerous and rude people. I saw a post below they call themselves Christians, they are rude and criminal like attitude, I guess they did not have a basic education, let alone to run a business. My car was towed and they were extremely rude and threatened me. It's sad this is happening in America! They should be closed for business as their practice is out of norm. If you see in what condition they exist there, you will think twice before stepping on their premises, not even sure how they passed any inspections. Stay away they are rude, disrespectful, with zero ethical and moral code.
Yes, I am sure its you, what a character you are, how polite you are in here! You and your whomever he is to you are rude and dangerous, and yes its your location can't be second one as bad. Learn to operate a business and have at least some kind of customer relationship if you even know what a customer is. You can put your nice face aside, my experience with you was worst I EVER had. Rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and dangerous people.
My car was stuck in the middle of ice/snow. There was no way I would've been able to get it out. When I called, the associate assured me not to worry and a driver would help in minutes. The driver was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend to anyone looking for good service at a reasonable price.
