Jeff from Lucky Nelson's provides a unique and perfect combination of services. He milled and kiln dried many beech slabs from some trees we had taken down and now we have a beautiful live edge mantle and bench with many more woodworking projects to come.

Bought a slab of cherry a few weeks ago and I’m so happy with how it turned out. Jeff and Vince were great! Answered all my queries and give great advice. Would 100% recommend. Thanks guys!!

Lucky Nelson is wonderful lumber yard. Lots of unique local lumber and slabs to choose from. Jeff is a pleasure to work with. He’s very knowledgeable and truly cares that his customers are satisfied.

We had a small project which involved retrofitting a new element into an existing structure which is about 70 years old. It was important that the new wood and finish match the original from the mid 1950s. Jeff did an amazing job within budget and delivered the finished product much more quickly than we expected. His passion is obvious, and his craftsmanship is superb. Would recommend highly.

I'm extremely glad I chose lucky Nelson's to cut the logs I had into slabs. This was money happily invested with a company I'm pleased to support. The work was done beautifully and he was mindful of keeping the cost down in any way that he could. I would hire them again in a heart beat without reservations. Just a side note, I stacked the wood so that's not on him. I just added to the photo to show the volume of wood we cut in a few hours.

Superb service at a great rate. Some forethought is needed for storage of the lumber and a little disappointed that there wasn't any sawdust cleanup but would absolutely recommend them for lumber milling needs and sentimental trees.

Jeff did an amazing job on a black walnut countertop to go on our kitchen island. He was highly responsive and informative every step of the way. We highly recommend working with Lucky Nelson’s!

This guy is great! His mobile mill cut slabs faster than we could get them put away. He was able to identify which way was the best cut to expose the grain and features of our wood. After the job was done, he even gave us some tips about drying the wood. Really can't recommend him enough.

My husband and I reached out to Jeff to pick out a top for our wine cabinet. Jeff book matched 2 slabs of black walnut to get the depth we needed and the result is beautiful! We decided on a live edge and are very happy with the results. His warehouse full of wood slabs is amazing! We highly recommend!

Jeff and Tyler came out to mill a large red oak and nice size cherry. They were very Professional but personable. They answered all questions and even provided some suggestions. Even before they came, Jeff was great about providing support and help. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend the team to anyone.

We have never had any trees milled before and the owner, Jeff Weldon, thoroughly answered the milling process questions my family had and suggested how he would mill certain pieces of wood. Jeff was very professional and I would most certainly give him a call again if ever I had a need for more milling. I attached some pictures of the beautiful wood slabs he cut for us. Mix of oak and sweet gum slabs. He was also very patient even after he hit some metal that we were unaware was in the logs. Also, his quoted price per hour was much more reasonable than other quotes I had obtained.
