Cool architecture. And a cool history. Lots of places to fish. But sadly it has not rained in a while and it was very low. The water seems pretty contaminated in some spots.

Tiver lit up my life, or at least my Christmas season. To take advantage of the 15 percent discount, I scheduled an October reinstallation of the lights we purchased last year to decorate our bushes. A few weeks back, we upped our lighting game to include wrapping the lower 14 feet of our three huge sycamores. Wanting my visiting grandson and his bride to see the lights, I asked if my scheduled date could be moved up a week. No problem. When the day came for the installation, the new lights had not arrived, but Tiver was willing to install last year’s lights without them. A few minutes after Javonte and his team began working, they received word the tree lights had just arrived and were on their way over. So a week ahead of schedule, we have lights to be enjoyed by my family this weekend. As usual, Tiver went the extra mile to make a client happy. It turned into a bigger job and a later day for Javonte and his team, but they remained careful and cheerful through the whole process. They put on the strands and then stood stepped back to critically appraise their progress, adjusting until they got each strand just right. Pride in a job well done. Once again, pleasant, cheerful, conscientious crew! And my nearly octogenarian husband got to sit on a rocker on the porch and admire the process and the finished project. Now if only Tiver added a leaf cleanup and collection for all those sycamore leaves … a girl can dream.

A beautiful place. One of our new favorites. The only issue is the traffic on the road. There is a yellow flasher at the intersection that seems to mean "kick down a gear and hammer the gas" to the majority of drivers coming through. Be careful crossing the street to see the barn and pond.
