Mayer's is my family's go-to place for all our car needs. They're fast, efficient, knowledgeable, and reliable. They took good care of my Hyundai Elantra right up until the end. It wouldn't have made it so long without them. I highly recommend!

Great Service - have been going here for over 15 years. Mechanic is honest and has saved me a lot of money, including fixing my Subaru that I was told should be junked by another mechanic. Love this place!

0/5 Welded a Harmonic Balancer to the crank. covered it in slag instead of even replacing and doing it right, genuinely 2 bit mechanic work. Even worse then that, autozone parking lot would find you more qualified individuals. Will be showing up Monday morning to find out what stunad did this Will post the original bill from mayers just so their response can be contradicted

Just making a delivery and the guy was extremely disrespectful for no reason. Got cursed out over “letting the heat out” while simply opening the door in order to make said delivery. Not to mention he reeked of liquor at 11am on a Monday. Sign said closed, while business hours online and posted on the door said they were supposed to be open. Seems like he wanted the day off to get paid to get drunk. And I bothered him with his delivery that he ordered.

Worst customer service ever. Had my car towed here after it broke down on the highway. Called after my car was there for 48 hrs asking for an update and they yelled at me saying they would call me when they had an update as they “just got my car into the shop”. After 4 days they told me it was ready to be picked up. When I got there I was told there was 20+ codes on my car so they cleared all of them and test drove my car saying it was fine. They also told me it was an intermittent problem. As someone who does not know car language I assumed this meant something internally in the car. When I asked if that was true the man laughed in my face and said it wasn’t a car term. Dumb on my part but there was no need to laugh in my face and put me down as I am already having a hard time with my car. They then charged me $160 for “services”. My car acceleration is BROKEN and the car is un-driveable. So much for there not being any problems!

Sent my car to a “sister” shop for water pump and 3 months later my water pumps leaking! Charged me for a new water pump and had my car for a week

Absolutely superior service!! Very knowledgeable staff, very customer friendly. This is the only place that works on my vehicles. I travel 45 minutes to get here, and that's nothing for peace of mind knowing that my vehicles are well taken care of. A huge thank you to Tyler, Kelly, and Tom. You guys are the best!

I was pleased. I had a problem with my tire and they were able to fix it quickly.

I brought my subaru here to get a problem I was facing looked at and not only was I given wrong information about what needed to be fixed, I was belittled and talked over when listening to the mechanic speak at me. this business has really gone downhill since they hired their new mechanic, and all the people I know that have been here recently agree, and this business will continue to go downhill as long as he's still employed and allowed to speak to customers. I highly suggest you do not waste your time here and go somewhere where they'll treat you with some respect.

I brought my car in with a reoccurring issue it's been having. The mechanic thought I needed 4 new tires and it would solve the problem. 4 new tires and 2 weeks later, the issue started happening again. I called the shop and the woman answering the phone was rude. I was explaining that the issue was happening again and she acted as if I was dumb and laughed. I was surprised by this because the mechanic I spoke to was nice and the reviews I've read were pretty good. Maybe it is because I am young, but still, inappropriate. I felt uncomfortable and had my dad call the next time. She again, gave attitude. Because of the bad and rude customer service and the fact that they did not fix my car, I will not be returning and I will most definitely not be recommending.

Mechanic is rude and condescending. Waited 3 weeks for a phone call from the help inside, got nothing at all. Will take my business elsewhere. NOT THE CAR REPAIR SHOP IT USES TO BE!

I had my car brought in for service about 3 or 4 months ago for a leak in my EVAP system. I was told after the service and the sending unit replacement that my gas tank had small holes in it and would need to be replaced. However tanks for my make and model were currently not in stock anywhere so I paid my bill and went home. Within a day my check engine light had went on again and surprise, surprise it was the EVAP code again. So I waited months until gas tanks were available and I purchased one. My father and I, home mechanics who have been repairing our own vehicles all our lives, put the gas tank in ourselves. When dropping the tank we had noticed the disgusting work of the mechanics at Mayer’s. First of all the EVAP code was caused by the hose that was left disconnected to the EVAP canister. Second problem was that 5 of the 6 bolts that hold my sending unit in were in correctly. One however was a stud because the mechanics had broken the head and left it in the tank. Third and final issue was the fuel line that runs to my fuel rail was connected by a zip tie. This line is usually installed with a special plastic clip that comes in a variety pack for less than 5 dollars. In conclusion the mechanics at Mayer’s produce very low quality work with what appears to be an attempt at bringing you back to them for more business.

Honest and trustworthy shop. I would give them more stars if I could. It's hard to find honest mechanics, and if you are in need of one, ask for Tyler.

I went to this mechanic shop during covid-19 because they had a sign out front stating “free oil changes for first responders & healthcare personnel.” I brought my Certified Home Healthcare Aide license with me and when I went inside and inquired about their advertisement, the woman working the front desk told me “it’s not for aides- it’s for nurses.” My jaw literally hit the floor; I couldn’t believe what I had just heard. I calmly expressed that wasn’t what the sign said and that I was in fact considered ‘healthcare personnel,’ as my license confirmed this. The woman then changed her mind to not just “nurses but for emergency nurses!” I’m assuming her husband is the mechanic and he stood there in silence as his wife berated, belittled and undermined my profession. He then asked me to please leave as I was upsetting and getting the woman frustrated! I would never recommend this place for the sole reason if you have to turn someone away, you should never do it in this fashion, especially during a pandemic.

I had work done on my auto at this place in past years and all went quite well. However, I am experiencing at present a bad time with the service and conduct with the one and only mechanic. He is stringing me along by giving me false dates and, actually, having the nerve to bully and insult me. It has been eight days and he just today gave me info as to what needed fixed with my car. He says he is overworked and has lied to me several times as to when the car will be fixed. I am going to wait one more day for results and if my car is not fixed I shall go elsewhere to a dealership. Sorry to have to report this place as an untrustworthy “mom and pop” auto repair garage. I remain a frustrated customer.

Mayer's is the best. They fix everything at a reasonable price and are always willing to tell you when it isn't necessary to have something done.

My truck was overheating today on my way home from work. I pulled in and quickly figured out I needed a hose fitting to loop my heater lines together. When I approached the mechanic about my dilemma he gladly gave me one right from his parts stock at NO CHARGE. This man went above and beyond and I can't thank this gentleman enough! As a mechanic myself, I can clearly see that this is an honest man running an honest business 👍

The staff was friendly, and took care of my problem right away after getting me on the schedule for the next day. Price was cheaper than many places around, and so far the repair seems to be working great. Don't expect fancy, just expect good old fashion hard work and honest people.
