Eric was an absolute gem. My truck was making a weird noise so I stopped in to see if anyone could help me diagnose it. He threw on a jacket and followed me into the rain, helped me diagnose the issue, and followed up by calling a shop to see if they could fix it for me. Made a stressful experience a good one. Great customer service.
I usually stop in for parts for my truck but Dad’s Porsche needed a new battery after sitting in the garage for a year or so I figured I see they had what I needed. Sure enough, in stock and ready to go.
I took a pair of brake rotors to my local O'Reilly's.
The rotors were still 28mm thick the minimum thickness was 26mm. It looked like there was enough meat on them to clean them.
When the were done I picked them up, paid $30 per rotor but then found out that the guy that machined them took so much material off that the rotors were now below minimum.
I paid $60 to now have a set of unusable junk rotors.
A refund was not offered.
I won't do that again.
Unfortunately not very professional attitude.
I walked in to ask snow chains without knowledge about it.
One guy came out to see the tyre size so to provide me with the suitable chains.
He noticed the tyre figures and after getting back in the store asked another guy (with Salvador Dali mustache) to show me how to fit it on the tyre.
The first employee returned at the counter with a package and said you are good to go with this.
I left happy but when I reached the snow and tried to fit them on the tyres realized that it was 2 sizes smaller.
16 instead of 18.
Great disappointment.
I don't know why, but I have never liked O'Reilly Auto Parts? I'm Old School! I remember when I was a kid with my Street Machine in High School. I had My Part store was a 1/2 a block from my house. It was like like going to Cheer's! They all knew my name, sat at the counter, (had a old fashion little coke out of a machine), and caught up with everybody in the place. O'Reilly is like going to a Grocery store for auto parts, Sorry, they don't care!

A place that checks for engine light, battery, etc for free!! I’ve never had this kind of service in a while!
I stop by due to an engine light check on my dashboard. A gentleman by the name of Jerry was at the counter and kind enough to help. A younger gentleman was there and he also was very professional and knowledgeable.
I also needed a bolt that Carson city Toyota said it’s been discontinued. Jerry searched and took care of that too. Oh wow! What a pleasant surprise. Thank you so much gents. Great customer service!!!👏🏼🙏🏼
Called the store because I needed a new set of tire chains for my Cherokee. Jerry did me a solid and verified they had a set that fit my tires and held it for me until I could head over. Thanks to him I was able to make it over the mountains to visit family.
ASK FOR JAKE! This guy is incredibly knowledgeable and was super patient with all my questions. He tested the car and with the right questions and answers he found the solution. This man needs a raise!
Richard was such a great help. Considerate and answered all my questions. Was very helpful in showing me options that were less expensive. All around some of the best customer service I've ever had. I'll be going here for all my auto needs.
Just about everyone here is super friendly and helpful. Tony always takes care of me with finding parts. If they aren’t in store he does his best to get them there as soon as possible

I visit this store quite frequently and everytime I enter I am greeted by a friendly and knowledgable staff.Service is always prompt and staff is more than willing to help out in any way possible. I always leave there with a smile and all the parts I needed.

Outstanding customer service!!! We went in today because the battery on our RV was dead. Not only did we get a great battery but John helped us with additional parts as my husband lost a bolt when replacing the battery. John went above and beyond. We will always shop here first in the future.
I took in a dead battery from my 1988 Ford F-250 and these guys tried for 3 days to get it to charge, also bought a driver side mirror for my 1992 Toyota ,the screws on the mirror we're factory defective and they got me a new mirror the very next day. Thanks Steve
Helpful place with large inventory but often takes a long time for assistance because they take long time with each customers questions which is good unless your in a hurry
