I live in Mammoth and needed some auto body repair work done. Unfortunately, there aren’t any reliable auto body shops in Mammoth, and the ones in Bishop only provided quotes during specific hours on certain days of the week. The only shop that did give me a quote had a four-week turnaround time.
I decided to reach out to Mort's because they had great reviews online, and I'm glad I did. I spoke with Sonia over the phone, and I was able to email her photos of the work I needed. She got back to me with a quote within an hour. I was informed that the quote was just an estimate and could change once they began the work.
They had my truck ready in just seven business days, and the bodywork and paint match were perfect. Best of all, the quote was accurate—no surprises. Although I hope not to need auto body work in the future, if I do, I’ll definitely return to Mort's, and I would recommend you do the same.
Absolutely wonderful customer service!! I was very impressed when Andrea called to give me an update. It was completely done when they quoted and car was done beautifully and they washed and vacuumed my car. Wasn’t expecting such a treat!!!

Very friendly staff. My car looks great again. They matched the paint and they even wiped the inside of my car down, which was a pleasant surprise when I picked it up. Had a problem with the light not being calibrated right(hard to do during daylight) and said if I have any trouble to just bring it in and they would do it again til they got it right. Absolutely love their customer service and price was better than 3 other shops I got quoted from. Kept me informed of when to pick up and did the repair quickly and efficiently.
This body shop is great. They keep you informed concerning parts, repairs, and your insurance payments. They completed the repairs quickly and my van looks great. They are professional and respectful of your concerns. Highly recommend!
I sent these guys and email after hours and to my astonishment they replied the next day. This puts them in the upper 1% of customer service. Although they couldn't do the work I was inquiring about, they deserve another 5 star review just for the exceptional communication.
I can not praise them enough! True customer service is not dead. I’m looking for a reason just to go back. I was greeted by a kind gentleman at the counter who treated me like an old friend, my truck not only came out amazing!!! It was delivered to me at work with a fresh car wash 🧽 they dealt with the insurance company for me and updated me regularly with where we were at in the process! In a time where it’s hard to get someone to even answer the phone, this was a truly refreshing experience. Highly recommend.
It’s quite upsetting, however due to the geographical local of where I live and a series of unfortunate events like snowstorms, suicidal deer, and criminal acts, I’ve resorted to 3 separate auto body shops within the last year.
Mort’s Auto Body is second to none. Having gone to 2 auto body shops prior to Mort’s, with underwhelming results, I wasn’t expecting much. The went above a beyond my expectations with their professional, status updates, and managed to finish a week prior to the expected date. Additionally, they even replaced the tent on my windshield, which I never asked them above because one to the other two auto body shops said that’s not their responsibility, but I can get the tent myself, give them the receipt and submit the claim to my insurance.
Hands down, I hope I never have to use another auto body shop, but if I do, I’m going straight to Mort’s.
Went in to get drivers side headlamp replaced after fender bender. Thinking I was going to lose my bumper, they hammered it out. I am very pleased with the outcome. Thank you.
The entire staff from the owner, Frannie in the office and Nick in the auto body shop are knowlegeable and professional. So glad to find an auto body shop I won’t hesitate to recommend. Mort’s Auto Body is the best!
