I had to replace the cv boot on 08 Chevy 2500 hd, the shop charges $400 so I decided to save money and I spent $14 for cv boot at auto zone , I contact rebuilt exchange they installed for the boot to the axle for $ 45 . I installed the old axle back the vehicle and save $340

Called them to get pricing to fix a rack & pinion and to my surprise I come to find out that it is the same guys that used to be at another location that I had dealt with in the past for a cv axle that I had them repair for me.
