This is a family business not some big busineess where customers are just a number. They have humans answering calls; not computers. I order a part for my Hyundai, they sent me the wrong part then quickly arranged for a return and a quick refund.
The door I purchased was less then what was promised. The window doesn't work , it took a month to get when they said 2 weeks. And instead of being a cheaper alternative to buying a brand new door it was essentially the same price. In short unless you desperately need something you can't find, you are better off to just buy directly from the manufacturer.

Parts for a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder can be a bit challenging. I was nervous about getting a used part however, was pleased to find out that it not only did it fit perfectly, it did the job! The initial call was so easy and seemed to good to be true. Then I had to call several times but each time Anthony assured me they were working on it. In the end i realized that they had to go through several different parts to be sure I was getting a good part. If I would have been a little more patient then the whole process would have been very simple. They went above and beyond to be sure what I was receiving would be a piece that we could get some good use. In the end it was perfect. Highly recommend BacktoRoad Auto Parts.
I honestly don’t know how this place has good reviews—it feels like they’re made up. My experience was awful. Anthony was friendly at first, but as soon as I needed to return the part (which arrived broken and didn’t even work for my car), everything changed. They made the return process nearly impossible and stopped responding. Definitely not a company I’d trust.
Total scam. Sent me unusable parts they claimed would fit my car. Refused to help with a return, made me pay shipping, and then ignored all calls and emails. Stay away!
One star – misleading and frustrating experience.
I paid nearly $1,200 for what I was led to believe was a new ABS part for my Jeep. What arrived was a used, junkyard-looking part that Jeep confirmed cannot even be installed. It wasn’t even wrapped properly, just banging around in the box. When I called, their parts manager promised me no restocking fee and a prepaid label, but later they backtracked and demanded I pay shipping and a 25% fee. Terrible business practices. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
I needed a abs module for my 09 dodge challenger. I had been looking for days because the part was discontinued last year. I contacted backtoroad auto parts and I talked to Anthony. Thanks a Bunch, I have a 1994 OLDS BRAVADA and my breaks went out and we finally found the problem to be the ABS but could not fine a replacement anywhere for weeks and finally I got in touch with Back to Road Auto Parts online and they had the ABS for a very reasonable Cost. So thanks to them I have my 1994 Bravada up running like a charm!!

I needed a break computer for my 2013 Ford Cmaxx. Ford had quoted me 2,500.00 $. I thought that would make no sense to invest into a car with a market value of 4,500.00$. Awesome service! I was weary purchasing an ABS modulator from a scrap yard, but I was assured it would be bench tested and working upon receipt. Ford had them on backorder with no arrival date, so I had no choice. The part worked as promised and saved me 50% compared to new! They did have the ABS unit I was looking for. The dealer was unable to reprogram it, but the hydraulics worked correctly so I was able to use the old electronic part with the new hydraulics and fix the issue. 2010 Ford Expedition. Everyone says it's all one unit, but it's not.
These guys bent over backwards to make sure I got the correct parts. It wasn't just the light but part of the wiring harness too. They put in the extra time and effort to make sure it was right.

the throttle body worked great. I unboxed it, cleaned it up a bit and installed it same day. turned the key and the 4runner fired up and has been running great to this day! Very pleased with this purchase!
It fixed the antilock brake system but since it was not a Dodge part but instead a fiat part that fit, I cannot make the car recognize it to redo the vin number. Therefore, my traction control light will not go off and I have no cruise control. No, I am not happy. But it was beyond the time frame to return it when I had it installed
The ABS control unit for my RAM2012 failed and the part is no longer manufactured. Anthony with BacktoRoad Auto verified they had the part (used) by checking the VIN of my RAM truck. The unit is installed and works perfectly. Thanks!!!
I was looking all over for a throttle body for a motor I have in my civic. It's a rare motor these days, and there is not a ton out there aside from sketchy Facebook posters. I called up BackToRoad very friendly and knowledgeable people. We exchanged photos and verified Vin numbers , They verified the part again before they charged me. And 3 day expressed it to me. I cleaned it, mounted it, and it works just like the original cause it is. As a first-timer, I was very impressed and will be using them again for my other car parts needs for sure. I personally liked the process of calling in because it it allowed it to be more personal, and you knew for sure you were getting the right part because I had to make a correction as my car will often be paired with the wrong motor on most websites.
