Great place. Very fair. Very helpful every time I go there. The guys there know there Metals. Always Very quick to get in and out.

Horrible experience. Do not waste your time coming here. They give you one price on the phone and another when you get there. Terrible communication. Made us load and reload the stuff to weigh like 4 times. Total rip off and horrible service.
Great experience, fat and prompt help ! They were very courteous and respectful and the man that took the truck off my trailer that I scrapped with his loader forklift was very patient and very helpful!

Very disappointed i brought in some wrought iron in vert good shape no rust and a really big gun safe that i gutted everything that wasn't steel out of it it weighed 407 lbs and they deducted (tare) me for 106 lbs. I told him i removed everything non metal he didn't even look inside! I walked out of there with $9 for 400 lbs of solid steel. What a joke.
So I call them, they say they buy cans, got there at 3:50 today...guy working there says when I get there that they only take donations, I had 7 giant bags of cans, then I popped the tire of my Green Acura MDX in their parking lot, because they obviously don't care about their customers enough to clean up the garbage, had to buy a used tire down the street, all because somebody lied to me over the phone just to swindle me out of a few bags of cans, (either the secretary or the cholos working there were lying)... Absolutely DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM!!!
WORST experience I've had in a long time, probably because they saw my Montana plates, saw me as a sitting duck.

It looks tight, IF You have a 40' container with sleeper i recommend that before you empty scale stay to the left and then make a right back up to the wooden pole and enter scale. Then make a u turn and you should be able to back up to get loaded.
They let you know what to do. In my case I did set my trailer brakes and the loader was moving me forward. They let you know when to apply tractor brakes.
The lady at the office was nice. The loading part once your in position takes like 10 15min.
Ripped me off. Paid 49 cents a lb for 3 different aluminum types. Clean ',cast and dirty. Everyone knows they shed be different prices and way above 49 cents per

I brought 92 lbs of aluminum cans for recycling and only was told they weighed 43 lbs. They conveniently dumped the bins before I could see the weights. I had them reweigh the rolling containers and one of them said 105 on the side and it only weighed 78 lbs, the second one said 104 lbs and it only weighed 93 lbs. I complained and they only gave me another 30 lbs. They still owe me 19 lbs. How many other people were cheated on the weight of their items?
I called ahead and asked what they paid for #1 UNSTRIPPED copper wire and she told me $2.90 a pound, but when we got here they jipped us by $100 and only paid us $1.90 a pound. Terribly organized. Might as well be a dump. Will never return.
I loaded a few heavy objects into my suv, flew down to the Western location through rush hour traffic to be there before they closed at 4:30pm. I was there at 4:17pm and they were just shutting the gates. I pounded on the gates, yelled for someone to open the gate, waved my hands, pounded on the front door, honked my horn. I know one of the employees saw me and like the rest of them ignored me. Now i get to unload the heavy objects and load them again when I have a window to do so. It cost me $10 in gas to drive there for nothing. I would think it would be important to be open the hours that are posted online and on the front of the building. That way customers can count on what is advertised.
This place is ok. The staff is friendly for the most part, and most are helpful. I would recommend them if there is no where else open! The last time I was there had to wait almost 30 minutes and then had to move to the other side and wait in line all over again! All in All I was there for over an hour to cash in $26 worth of scrap metal! After that I will not recommend them to anyone!
Great experience! Nice man helped, and nice cashier. 25 cents a pound for aluminium. It was quick and easy. The ONLY reason I didn't give a 5, is because I was afraid of getting a flat tire because of all of the screws and metal in a torn up concrete lot.
Waste of time . Employees were all polite. But the price of scrap makes it a complete waste of time and effort. I'll just leave my scraps for a more desperate person .
Took awhile,I've been to every recycler in town,it wasn't till Jose Torres took over did I become 100 percent loyal to them on Western ave.i don't go to any other S and A.
This place was great. I had a beat up refrigerator and they bought it from me for a couple of bucks. Wasn't looking to make money just to get rid of my junk somewhere other than a landfill.
