Incredible recycling center for such a small city area. Absolutely worth dropping goods off here and they take a ton of stuff. Staff is friendly and tries to be as helpful as possible. I am regularly thankfully for the existence and quality of the recycling center. Tax money very well spent.
These are the kindest and friendliest staff people you’ll find anywhere in this area. Always a very pleasant experience to go here, and it’s a recycling center to boot :-)
So after being charged for 33 mattresses instead of 3 to a grand total of $825. I demanded to know how and when a refund would occurthe gentleman. I dealt with lied to his supervisor and told her he told me Monday. And then they both proceeded to tell me that nobody could tell me when my refund would be credited to my account. After telling him I did not appreciate being lied to he proceed to get in my face while I was back against a wall and scream and yell at me telling me he didn't appreciate being called a liar when he was clearly lying. When I asked him to back away , he told me to back away although I had nowhere to go and continue to yell and point in my face to the point I had to call the police. Keep in mind, my daughter was with me through all of this.
Bad experience. I had a bunch of steel that I needed to recycle. So I looked on the CRRC website on Saturday, August 31 and it said OPEN, closes at 3pm. So I loaded all the steel in the back of my SUV and drove to the recycle center and the sign said closed. So my SUV was worthless for the labor day weekend unless I wanted to spend another 45 minutes unloading it and another 45 minutes reloading it later. Who is the stupid fool who runs this place who can't even figure out how to keep the website hours up to date. It's now Tuesday, September 3rd so I called the CRRC and it says it's open,but who knows if that's up to date? Nobody answers the phone there. So what do I do? Leave a message that will probably not be returned. I guess I have to waste more gas driving there to see. What a worthless service they provide. Pain in the you know what.
Fantastic facility. People have always been kind and helpful. The amount of different items this place accepts has encouraged our family to make new small organizational recycling bins at home in preparation for when we go here.
I don’t know how anyone can make it in during the day. Only open 6 hours a day, is this only for retired people to use? I have a hard time getting there during the week otherwise it’s a very nice resource for recycling, really glad it’s there. But hours operation- only 4 stars
Everyone here is crabby. I asked a question nicely and all 3 standing there got so snippy when I asked for clarification. My dudes, I’m just trying to make sure I do this correctly so I don’t eff up your system.
Great facility. I wish the Blaine facility was like this. This is a much better facility, everyone was kind and helpful here. People at the Blaine facility are rude and short tempered.
I’m literally lost for words on how rude the gentleman that worked here is, tall white guy named Paul worst interaction just wanted to be rude to me for no reason, told me I don’t know how to read a sign when the gentleman outside told me to go around the building due to construction, then came up to when I was unloading the mattress to tell me to “hurry up” an then after I went to go pay he clearly seen me take out 1 mattress told me I had a box spring like listen you rude old man I got no reason to lie or cheat any Buisness of any money for there service. Obviously he is just a angry man trying to start confrontation with someone that did Nuttin to him other then bring them Buisness. Will not use this recycle service again an if you guys encounter Paul you will understand he is just a rude old man that finds satisfaction on being rude to people for no reason.
Well organized facility! I have been swinging by every few weeks for the last couple of years and have never had a bad experience. I love that they take mattresses every day now. Fair prices on most items and very friendly staff too.
This recycling center is the best on the northside. They take EVERYTHING! Fluorescent bulbs, mattresses and Styrofoam. Organics too and super organized. Carts available if you have a ton of stuff. Very helpful staff also!
They are so awesome at the center, everyone is so helpful and glad you stop in to recycle instead of throwing it in the garbage. I have saved so much from going into the landfill over the years, I always bring in questionable items and find out its recyclable. CRRC is the best!
I should have checked your hours before loading up the jeep. Your not open at all on the weekends. You totally leave out the people that work. What a shame!
Great place to recycle, well organized, just wish they would have evening hours. 10am to 3pm does nothing for the folks who work during the day. Lets get some evening hours or open up on Saturdays.
So glad to have them back and open even if it's only two days a week right now!! Still very organized and quick to get through if you check their website for specifics before you go. Staff is helpful and polite. Grateful for the services offered here.
The most organized recycle center I've ever seen. The employees/volunteers are super nice and helpful. Unlike the one in Plymouth where you just dump everything into the same bin, this place has each type of recycle item separated. Even the plastics is separated into 2 different bins. Check the website before going to see what they take & the varying days/hours.

*styrofoam take-out containers
*styrofoam egg cartons.
ORGANIC WASTE!! I.e. Foods, paper that can't be recycled. Meat/bones etc.
