Drove 2 hours to pick up a trailer that they posted pictures of that I paid for in advance. once I got there, they said that they posted the wrong trailer and pictures and cancelled on the deal. a total waste of my day off and 60.00 in gas.
Nice guys. I didn't know the size of the part I need, so they offered a solution to help me figure it out. Appreciate the help, the good price on the part, etc.
Always have late model cars and plenty of parts. Been comming here for years.. I think alot of these reviews have unrealistic expectations for a junkyard...
Worst junk yard to go to. They will lie to your face! Pay them to take the part off for you and they tell you it will be ready in a few hrs. Days later they say they havent started on it but will get it right away. Never again and not to mention they have the audacity to have an attitude with the customer like it was my fault they lied.
They sold me a $20 tire that is only scrap rubber. The entire tire is full of dry rot. Reason of complaint: they have a pile of free tires and i chose to buy a tire expecting it to be half way decent.
Has a recycling center tried to guarantee price on 2 roters said best could do and no one could beat was .01 cent a pound, seems even when trying to buy parts swindle to rip you off.
Took to G & L recycling the place they claimed wouldn't pay me anything more, got $4.03 a router = $8.06 A&A swindle and lies
Used to go here all the time, and the guys were always cool and resonable. I go in there today to look for parts for multiple cars, because i am a machanic. And they flat out lied to my face they said they did not have the vehicles i was looking for, when ive seen them there before. Whats that about?
Awesome place, fair prices, knowledgeable workers. Everyone in here is very helpful especially the young Hispanic guy. They pretty much have anything you need and if they don't they'll help you get it. Great salvage and scrap yard. I'll continue going here for anything I need.
This guys used to be great and reasonable, but now they're a joke! Same staff so idk what happened, the owner mustve gotten him self in money trouble because they like to rip people off now. I swear I buy and sell tons of cars and always bring my business there first because its close to my home. But today they tried ripping me off AGAIN. I tried to give them my business once again, but they wanted me to lay $35 for a used part that I had to pull, when its $34 brand new at Sherman's in imlay city! I tried being reasonable and offering $25 just because I needed the part, and they wouldn't even hear it. Funny thing is I went to G & T and got the part I needed for $25. Unbelievable. These guys are a rip off. Go elsewhere.
The other reviews were right. This place is definitely one to avoid. Walk in to the main "office" and all I find is a greasy fat guy surrounded by MOUNDS of dirty, old parts. I was trying to get rid of some old wheels, that were in mostly good shape. After this guy turned me away initially (because they still had tires on them???) another guy, who I assume is the owner/manager said he'll take them anyways. After helping me drag in 4 CHROME, ALUMINUM wheels with tires, as well as a spare tire, this guy tosses me $30, as if that's a halfway fair trade. I wasn't in a mood to argue, as I was just trying to get rid of them, so I took it and left. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF HERE.
Thanks to a pothole, I found myself in need of a wheel rim. A & A was able to find a "used" match to what I had on my Ford Flex for a great price, shipped overnight. I say "used" because it was in better shape than the other 3 on my car. I'm very pleased with their service, and would recommend them to others.
