It was super easy to setup up a same day pickup. Peter the truck driver was nice to talk to and even gave me some tips on keeping my vehicles healthy. He was familiar with a bike I had, and we talked a bit about riding stories. Overall I felt very comfortable with how I was being handled.

There’s a scam. And it involves this place. They will call you and set up a time to pick up your car. The towing company they send your way is called ACRE TOWING. Or called ACRE AUTO AND SCRAP. This is their real company. If you want to know how they will treat you when they show up, look up reviews for ACRE AUTO AND SCRAP. They act like they are competitors but are not. ACRE is the fall guy who gets all the bad reviews. If you’re interested and have read this far, please PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go read my review on yelp for ACRE. Acre shows up, says your catalytic converter is missing and then drop the price by 250$. Then when it’s all done, this guy will call you and tell you that ACRE is his competitor, and that is the reason they acted that way, and to remove your poor review off of this company. Don’t fall for it. Don’t sell your car to them. Please. They are awful, and they will scam you. Here is my review for ACRE I put on yelp anyways. But it’s for them too. They all work together. I swear by it. Awful. Every towing place will give u the same money for your car. Go anywhere else. First, I was told they would show up before 5, and ended up not getting there until 5:40. Second, I was told I would get 500$ to scrap my car, and when they showed up they offered 200$. They say it was becuase the catalytic converter was removed, but it was right there, and the car had been in the family since new, so we knew there had been no work on it. They insisted, and wouldn’t budge. I would have gone somewhere else, but I had to get rid of it fast, and they didn’t talk to me about this before showing up. If they were going to cut the price by more than half, I would have appreciated a heads up on expectations for the car before showing up. And further, I know there was no muffler work on the car, so it all just felt like a scam to get when they’re allready there. Go anywhere else. If they are not together, they should have warned me that this was a possibility. When they contacted me about this, they knew about Acre already.
