Well before covid19 I dropped my truck off for repair and it sat over 3 months and they still hadn’t did the repair that was needed I don’t recommend that shop to nobody their terrible
I always leave here confident that my car is repaired and I can drive without worry. Mr. Pete is very thorough, honest, and professional. He has worked on the last 3 vehicles that I've had.
Pros:
Quality of work was great. I have a 5 speed manual transmission and couldn't get it to shift into gear, no reaction from the clutch. Strictly Transmissions fixed it up good as new, it drives great and the shifting feels smoother than ever.
Pricing was good. I feel the price I paid was fair for the parts and labor.
Customer service was top notch. Pete was friendly and he even went out of his way to accomodate me. Drove me to Enterprise to drop off my rental, when Enterprise was closed he even offered to store the car in his lock up overnight.
Cons:
It's a smaller outfit so be prepared for them to have your car a while, especially if there's a back log. I recommend making an appointment first.
They don't have an office staff to take calls, so sometimes it's hit and miss if they answer the phone when you call. They might not hear it ring over the machinery.
Overall good. Would recommend.
Mr. Pete took great care of my car and didn't charge full price for the extra days of storage during the holidays. He's an honest and upfront guy. I'll definitely be bringing my car back anytime something needs to be checked out.
