I recently had a terrible experience with this towing company that I need to share to warn others. It seems they're running a hustle in the Meijer parking lot. My brand new $108,000 Cybertruck was towed just 30 seconds after I walked away. I immediately got an alert and rushed back.
As a Meijer customer, I had every right to park there. Initially, the driver agreed to release my car for $200, but then he kept raising the price, clearly taking advantage of my social status. When I asked for a receipt, he outright refused!
This is a total scam. I will be reporting this company to every authority and review platform possible. Avoid them at all costs!
Thanks for towing my car and having me spend 250 during my disabled sons senior week among all the other expenses I'm coming out of for his senior year. Faded chalk signs you pointed to you can't read con artistry to me and cash only in 2024 with a disgustingly rude sarcastic being explaining the tow as he thinks it's funny being inhumane to a mother who has a tight budget. I hope your proud of yourself smh people have enough going on trying to live and be in a healthy mental state
Robbed me and my two kids for $300 dollars just to drop the car in the Meijer Parking Lot where he just tried to take it. No signage. No care that it’s a Dad and his teenage Son’s. Blew our budget up for Draft weekend. No care about how ridiculous $300 was for anyone let alone we just traveled from VA to be here. SMH!!

Towed cars illegal. Nasty additudes. Not professional at all. Open 24 hours per day but closed on Sundays. When we arrived to get the car, no proof of identification was asked for. Just $350 dollars and whole bunch of lies. They could have released the car to anyone.
The employees who answer the phones are so freaking rude. The first time I called the guy answered, Hello..I had to ask if this was the towing company because he answered as if it was his personal phone.. I received a text from my insurance company that Romel Towing would arrive between 90-120 minutes @ 2:15pm. I was told they would arrive in another 45 minutes after my first call of waiting for 2 hours. I called back and spoke to a black chick who was so rude and was irritated simply because I was asking about my wait time..at this point it was over the 2 hours..its was 3! I asked questions such as it this a black owned company, how many trucks do you have and if you have a website? She hung up in my face. I wouldn't pay out of my pocket and will advise my insurance company about their lack of professionalism.
I just got the best towing service from Detroit Romels Towing. Their service was top-notch. It's so surprising that they have provided this much good service at a very low cost. I am pleased with their fast towing service.
