We called at 9:14 AM today to arrange the pickup of our car. With the help of our lawyer, my dad quickly filled out the necessary paperwork, including a consent form to release the vehicle since my uncle is out of the country. However, the representative informed us that we must wait until Monday to retrieve the car.
We expressed our concerns about potential charges for today and tomorrow, as the teenager who caused the accident had mentioned this possibility. We urgently need the car back. The representative stated that their policy applies to everyone, which seems unfair and may violate Bill A-3749. This situation could lead to damages for Nationwide Recovery that exceed $10,000. Additionally, the representative was rude, and the business card provided contained no extra contact information; otherwise, I wouldn’t be writing this here. The Hamtramck Police Department should also be aware of this practice to avoid potential lawsuits.

Had an accident on 94 in Detroit and was stuck in the middle lane of the highway as my Tesla was disabled. Thomas from nationwide arrived and was friendly efficient and courteous getting my car loaded and me off the freeway. Thank you Thomas!
This company is a complete joke. Forcing people to make an appointment just to redeem their own car is absurd. All I need to do is pay the fee and drive the car away—it takes five minutes, not a whole production. Making people wait for something this simple is nothing but robbery and a scam.
They are AMAZING. Alan & Jacob although i did not get my car back at this time, they did let me retrieve my items. 10/10 would recommend. They are very nice and understanding. Appreciate you both

Today I had to get a car towed to the repair shop. I reached out to nation wide towing and they send out a man name Faiz who really respond quickly to my emergency. Faiz was very polite. Professional and respectful. He answered any questions that I had and I appreciate that. I hope that nation wide appreciate having a driver like Faiz to represent the company . Great job keeping doing a great job Faiz!!!!

I have been to many tow/recovery yards and this one (Nationwide Recovery) is by far the best one. The folks that work there are very professional and friendly. My son totaled his car and the tow driver was real sympathetic with him. All around clean and organized (PROFESSIONALS 100%)

Scammers charged me for two days when it hasn’t been 20 hours. On a weekday not even a weekend. They said that they require a 24 hour period before so they can move the car to the regular lot when it’s only been a few hours. Just report them to the ftc let’s get the fraudsters what they deserve my total came up to 400
I cannot say enough positive things about Nationwide. When I was smashed into by a hit and run driver at 4 am, the very kind tow truck driver took me well out of his way (after bringing my car into the tow yard) to wait in a safer spot for my daughter to come get me. Then, Alan helped make the whole process of getting my car where it needed to be so much easier and less painful, taking care of several things for me since I was out of the country- I was heading for the train station when I was hit. They are just all-around helpful and considerate and made an awful experience far better for me- I would recommend them any time.
Thank you to Alan and everyone at Nationwide recovery for helping in the recovery process following my accident. Times are a bit difficult following the accident but Nationwide Recovery really came through in every way from organizing a tow home to holding the door so I could crutch through the front door. Also love to see that they have some cool cats in the yard ⬛

Jamal and Alan are the real deal. They helped me reclaim ownership of my stolen scooter and worked with me through a complicated vehicle title situation that required a back-n-forth with Detroit and Hamtramck Police. Not only that, Jamal got out the jumper cables when my scooter wouldn't start got my scooter running again. These guys are the best and owe them a big thank you!
These guys are thieves. Once you wreck and are hurt and disoriented they will go through your vehicle and steal anything of value. I can't wait for my ear buds location to pop up so that when it does... I can also "pop up". Isn't it bad enough that we've wrecked and we are hurt and have to pay a huge towing fee.. You've got to also steal our property? To the owner you need to set up some decoy... or trap to root out the thieves that work for you. And give your business a bad name.
The police towed my car because of my illegal parking lol but however, Alan & Jamal were such a great help and so accommodating when it came to retrieving my vehicle! They made the releasing process so easygoing for me! Great customer service and very friendly! Highly would recommend contacting either one of them for the best service! Thanks again guys!
I was caught in a flash flood my car was dead on I-75 they towed my car the next day when I had to go to the salvage yard to take my belongings . The staff was kind courteous and very helpful. They helped make a bad situation 100% better
Absolutely awful overall experience trying to work with them!! Meanwhile an employee at the front counter (And over phone) was extremely RUDE, insulting,, and just down right disrespectful !!! Poor and unclear communication as well... At least have some human decency and learn how to be simply polite. What an unprofessional shameful disgrace. SMH

Unfortunately, I got into a bad car accident on my way to work. When the tow truck driver arrived he was the coolest guy ever! He made me feel at ease. I wish I would gotten his name. When it came time for me to get my things out my truck, I have to say JAMAL was the best! He was so kind to me and helped me in every way! He also made me feel at ease about my truck. These guys deserve an award. Many places aren’t warm and welcoming. When you’re already going through a awful experience you don’t need an issue someplace else. I pray I don’t need them to come get me from an accident again. But if you ever need some good people these guys are it. Oh, Allen was kind to me as well. Thank y’all for all the help! 5 ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Someone stole my car I'm from out of state Nationwide recovery recovered my car and have been being very helpful, informational, patient, and reasonable with their prices in my time of need. I would recommend them to anyone! They have great customer service. Nationwide is a terrific family oriented company with great employees! My car was stolen and they found it!!! Louie was so nice and very helpful. Yes it’s a horrible situation and an expensive fix but Louie didn’t charge me any fees. This man and his company are truly a blessing. By far the best in the city and they have a heart!!! Praying that God continues to bless them, as they bless others!!
I am saddened to find out that this company is a part of a lawsuit. I was asked to write a review to get my car out when my car was stolen and sent to this lot. I was not contacted about it and I had no idea where the car was. After investigation of my VIN number...I was finally told where my car was and was being charged over $1000 to get my car out. I was told that “everyone has to make their money off your car” and in exchange for my “great” review that I would be asked to pay a little over 600 to get my car off their lot. The date written on my car window was a different date from when my car was stolen and that date was written after I left the lot and came back a few days later. I would definitely recommend contacting police first to do any business with this company.
My car was stolen and left behind an abandoned building with the wheels taken off. Kenny responded as the recovery tow truck for the police and was on scene when I got there. He was extremely nice and patient and after the state police cleared my vehicle to be taken home Kenny towed the vehicle to my house and took special care to make sure there was
no further damage during the tow. He really helped a difficult situation go as smoothly as possible, absolutely great service!!
My truck was stolen too as I visited someone in Detroit and I went to make a police report and was told that Nationwide Tow Co had my vehicle. I called and was told the price was $400 and there was no way I could pay that amount of money . I'm on a fixed income and I'm a a breast cancer surviver who has already been through enough . I went to Nationwide and spoke to a guy there who saw how upset I was and he referred to the owner Lou. I was told that maybe he can do something to help. I told him about my situation and he told me that he was going to bless me and he waived my tow fees and told me that a collision shop will fix my truck for free. I was so happy and relieved and in disbelief that this man was willing to help me and take a lost. My truck being stolen caused a big inconvenience but this company fixed my truck and had it ready within a week like it was brand new. I had a great experience with Nationwide they actually listened to my situation and did a really great deed for me. I recommend them to everyone.
