They damaged my bumper and popped it out on both sides and dragged my AWD car out of its spot leaving me with a clicking noise when I take off from a stop. Extremely rude and unprofessional operator who didnt even acknowledge any of my claims, I wouldn't let them tow a pedal bike.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this towing company. The woman working at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional during my visit. Her tone and comments made me feel disrespected and uncomfortable, and I sensed clear bias in how I was treated compared to other customers. No one should be spoken to or treated that way, especially in a customer service setting. I hope the company addresses this behavior and provides proper training on professionalism and respect.
The lady in the office is extremely rude, would ask a question the cut me off when I went to answer it at one point I had to snap back saying I was talking and that's when she told me she was going to go sit down, my car was towed away after an accident and I was charged fees when I was taken to the hospital said I needed to sign the title over and pay 250 to do it I was told I could not take my license plate of the car and charged me another 35$ to get my phone charger out of my car. If I didn't sign the title over I was going to be charged 2500$ for abandoned vehicle fee.. this company is a bunch of rip off artist who just wanna take your money and act like they have the control... Never call out do business with them
I was in a car accident and Goch & Son's Towing sent Daniel out. He arrived in less than 15 minutes in rush hour traffic near Downtown Detroit, which already impressed me. As a combat veteran, I deal with a lot of anxiety in specific situations, but Daniel made the entire process so much easier. He not only towed my car quickly and professionally, but also offered me a ride, gave me recommendations for collision shops, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. His professionalism and kindness turned a rough day into something manageable. Goch & Son’s Towing is a complete scam operation. My friend and I went there, and they told us “We have 37 cameras watching everything.” But guess what? That didn’t stop them from stealing everything from my friend’s truck – all his CPC, tools, parts and personal belongings were gone.
This place doesn’t help people – it robs them, then acts like they’re untouchable. They are liars, scammers, and thieves. Nothing about this business is honest. They target people who are already in difficult situations and make it worse.
Stay far away from Goch & Son’s Towing. Report them. Warn others. This place should be shut down.

My daughter's truck was repossessed by this so called company for her finance company. We paid them for it right back same day. A few days late the same driver that did the repossession tries towing my daughter car again. This time lying saying the apartment told them her car wasn't supposed to be parked in there. That was a lie. My daughter had never paid her rent which includes an additional 50 bucks monthly for parking which my daughter does every month. From reading the reviews I don't understand how they are still in business let alone having city contracts. Seems like they show large companies respect while treating the general public like crap. I mean look at the app called owners response to everybody that wasn't a large business. See what they think is they can't be touched. But see I'm connected to the city. I have long time patients in the right positions to help. I have family that are 25 year Veterans on DPD. I'm waiting on the ride disrespectful comment they are definitely going to leave. I'm prepared to print that one out too too add to my pile of evidence for the complaint I'm filing with police and the motion in going to file with the courts. They have definitely come across the right family this time. As a nurse I have established a lot of relationships with a lot of people especially my judges and pa's. Earning their trust and respect. I absolutely hate predatory companies like this. Do some real work. I personally have seen vehicles orange stickers on the highway sit for weeks. Yall need to find somebody better to play with. Cause I will never stand for scam tactics or scare tactics. And you won't be the first company I get closed down or in trouble and I doubt you'll be the last. Hell McDonald's busy have me a direct number for their team on the corporate level. Simply because I brought light to things from franchise locations. So go ahead respond. I'm waiting for it.
Yeah, don’t use these guys! I don’t understand how they still even have any police contracts…when I was there today in line waiting I observed other people very upset because this company has given them the run around and it was their 3rd or 4th visit to try and retrieve their vehicle…I was there today to tow a vehicle out that was a total loss and getting moved for the insurance company. I called ahead of time and asked what they needed from me and the lady I spoke with over the phone was very nice and told me what I had was good to go with the paperwork I had to pick up the vehicle. Then I get there and wait for over an hour and 20 minutes only to be turned away because they weren’t going to take my workers comp exclusion form since I work for myself and own my truck… in order to get that workerman’s comp exclusion you have to have certain level of liability insurance which I do have and presented that to them as well, never have any issues getting into ANY other police towing impounds.. seems as if they try intentionally waste peoples time and get more storage money as every one else that waited in line didn’t have a positive experience with this impound yard.

If I could leave 0 stars i would. Worst customer service I have ever experienced at a tow yard. The police should establish a deal with a new company. The clerk kept walking away from people with money in hand to answer phone calls or talk with coworkers or do whatever she was doing. Do not recommend coming here. Call a different company with better customer service if you need a tow. You won't get the help you need here.

Called Goch this morning 7/1/2025 ,my daughter had a blowout the night before on her way to work, so she needed a tow to the tire shop up the street. These guys are the best! We use them all the time to move equipment for us. Brandon & Tirrill are awesome! Great with the equipment, fast, and super efficient. They always have a smile on their face and ready to take care of whatever you need.

Had a business vehicle impounded by this company because of a renter. I did not choose to do business with them. They make it almost impossible to get your vehicle back. Sent a tow truck of my own with all the paperwork requested by them. When the driver arrived it still wasn’t enough. When even more paperwork was provided they said they would not take a card over the phone or allow me to pay them to tow the car to me. No matter what you have to waste your time because they are used to dealing with ignorant people so they treat everyone like garbage. Filing a complaint with the state next. They don’t seem to care about bad reviews.
I wish I could give zero stars. Whatever you do, please pick another tow company. You can thank me later. The way they treat their customers is horrible. The way they speak to you. Everything is done on their time you’re at the mercy of them to get any help. STAY AWAY
These ppl are theives!! I left a pair of 1,200$ glasses in a fleet vehicle after an accident. So even tho I had the registration and proof of insurance they wouldn't let me access the vehicle to simply get my glasses. So by the time it gets to the ACTUAL dealership for repairs the dealership has to call me because I have the key fob and them nor their tow truck driver could get into the vehicle they also notified me that when I came with the keys I could access the vehicle for anything I may have left in it. So the ONLY ppl who had access to the vehicle WHILE the door was open was THEIR tow driver and staff on the lot!! But ofc... They denied having any responsibility!! They are theives!! Called to get the price, by the time I drove there the price went up $100 that's shady! The company is unreasonable with making up charges and fees like a fee for yard labor and a fee for paying with a card. All scammer tactics. They don't deserve to have a contract with the police. This company has no integrity!
I was in a car accident and had to visit Goch and Son’s Towing yard to take pictures of my damaged truck. Josh and Greg (Truck 40) showed up within minutes and were very helpful and compassionate. I broke down in tears when I saw my truck, and they were kind, patient, and supportive the entire time. They made a tough moment easier—thank you both for going above and beyond!
My husband is a Marine and rides with the Leathernecks. He woke up this morning late for a bike run they were going on and it was early. A couple of minutes ago my doorbell rang and a tow truck was out front, a gentleman asking me if I knew Dino? I explained yes it’s my husband. He’s not here blah blah blah.

Absolute scammers! i was sleeping in my truck at a planet fitness, minding my own business. I wake up to the sound of my rear wheels lifting up. I’ve always thought you can’t be towed if someone is in the truck. clearly i could leave the sense. the driver was trying to charge me $650 Cash! just to drop the truck. i obviously didn’t have cash on me, if the driver doesn’t receive cash on the drop, then it would be $1100 dollars to tow my vehicle!!!
It just happened that my vehicle broke down and one of their trucks were nearby. I didn't quite catch his name but he was a younger guy and very helpful. The price was reasonable and he got me home super quick.
Terrible customer service! My car was wrongfully towed by this company and when I went to pick it up, I asked for a reciept but was told they wouldn’t give me one because I did not pay to get my car out of the tow lot. When I asked them for some type of documentation that I did not have access to my car for the time it was wrongfully towed, specifically a letter that stated when my car was entered into the system and when I came to pick it up I was handed a letter that stated I came to pick up my car from this company at “no coast to her”. When I noted that the letter did not state the times as I specifically asked, I was told I could get that information from the police dismissed and then told goodbye and to have a good day, without the customer service representative giving me my ID back. I definetly get this is not a kind of business that deals with people on their worst days, however, I was kind and met with nothing but rudeness by the people in the font office despite the fact that they very much were aware that my car was wrongfully towed. Also they are not open 24hrs. When I realized they did not give me my id back and called to make sure it was there, I was told they would only be until 5:30 and I had to come the following day.
Joe, thank you so much for being such a good person. Joe pick up my car, took me to the nearest exit and waited with me until my brother came to pick me up with his car. Joe even helped me empty all of my belongings from my car - and we had a lot because we had just left on a road trip to Virginia and had packed nicely for out family trip. This place is nuts..Illegally put my car on a flat bed then when they had to put it back down because THEY were in the wrong he dropped my car off the bed and crashed it into my neighbors truck.. Now ducking and dodging phone calls.. I have everything on video.. Cops were called.. Still no call back definitely calling a lawyer!!!!!
How are you striving for 5 stars when your employees are crashing calls and you keep dodging phones?? Now my lawyer will be contacting..

Gosh and sons are my official towing provider for my parking lots at my multi family properties. I had an issue where there where unauthorized vehicles where parking in my lot. I signed the contract and they came out to install signs within two days at no cost to me. Great to deal with so far. The signs alone have detoured the illegal parking for the time but I know if I have any of my tenants blocked it I know the number to call!
This business charged around $650 for one night after towing a car from a lot late in the evening, and has admitted in the reviews that’s not common practice (accused this person of lying and said their car was at the lot for 3 nights). Im posting proof as the review was deleted from Google for unknown reasons.
If you guys are truly as a reputable a business as you claim, you will make this right by refunding her with the accurate price for a vehicle that wasn’t even on your lot a full 24 hours.
Also, to say she saw the signs and parked to convenience herself is unfair. It used to be extremely common to park in that lot across from Big Pink. They could’ve easily gotten me cause I had no clue people were getting towed from that lot. I have never been towed from there. That may be confusing to anyone who hasn’t been there in a while and didn’t realize. I thought big pink owned the lot.
