This company literally saved my life last night. They arrived when they said they would, they were quick and professional. The dispatcher was so kind during this time especially because I was freaking out. They will for sure be my next call if anything happens again!
This place was beyond unbelievable I've never been scammed like this by towing company in life.. they tried to charge 35$ to clean out the car smh..plus there charging almost 600$ for the car they've been holding for 1 day this experience has been beyond unbelievable Very unprofessional shame on you lincoln park for contracting with this SCAM of a company!!! someone needs to call fox 2 news on this

My vehicle was towed this morning of me coming to visit my daughter to drop off my kids and go to work and she has a parking pass but she doesn't have a vehicle to have sit in the lot and I came only been here for 4 hours and then they told my vehicle while I was outside showing them all my information and they did not care hope we can have this situation resolved because I live in my car and I was just on Fox 2 News as well lastar Jenkins of the mother of six living in her car

I want to start off by saying Nelson and Wyatt are some real professionals. My truck and trailer needed to be winched out of the road do to it blocking traffic. They were here super fast and did an amazing job.

was qouted over the phone $120 for a tow . got the car to my house and was told it was $179 . Dominic the driver was cool and we solved the issue quickly . he called the lady who quoted us over the phone and we walked away paying the $120 after they talked for a minute .
Brandon came out and was able to place the storage container in the exact location we needed. It was a very tight fit, and we weren’t sure how it could be done, but with his expertise, patience, and willingness to go above and beyond, he completed the job and set the container exactly where we needed it. I highly recommend this company and will absolutely use them again on our next construction site. I would also strongly recommend Brandon for the job.
Goch &Sons is an amazing company and I would recommend them to anyone. I recently had Brandon with Truck 41 do a kick ass job moving some equipment around for me. He was professional and courteous to my needs and made a quick job of it.
Edit.. Not a fake review. I was in there today to get a vehicle out of police impound and not sure if the office was having a bad day which I get it happens but I don't think that was the case their system I feel is set to take as much money as they can from customers. The driver at the 2nd lot I had to go to get my vehicle threw s huge tantrum because I'm sure s coworker left a wrecked vehicle blocking mine. Very professional company.. says not very many people. Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Gosh and Son’s Towing. From the very start, communication was poor and unprofessional. I was never given a clear price upfront, just vague answers that conveniently left out the final cost. Once the tow was completed, I was hit with an outrageously high bill that made absolutely no sense for the distance and service provided. The worst part is how they handle customers when questioned. Instead of explaining the charges calmly or professionally, the attitude turned dismissive and borderline hostile, as if overcharging is normal and customers shouldn’t ask questions. It honestly felt like they rely on people being stranded and stressed so they won’t argue. The service itself was nothing special—no urgency, no care, no professionalism that would justify the price. There are plenty of towing companies that are transparent, fair, and respectful. This is not one of them. I strongly recommend avoiding Gosh and Son’s Towing unless you enjoy surprise fees, poor customer service, and feeling taken advantage of during a bad situation. I urge all law force mental agencies not to award them any contracts
We had a couple of conex boxes dropped off and Brandon in truck 5 was able to get them right where we needed them and super close together. Very good communication with drop off times and overall did a great job.
I woke up to hitch up to my trailer one morning for work. The trailer had been parked in the same spot for 4 years. Moved on an almost daily basis, and returned to the same spot. My trailer had vanished in the night. It had been towed. Apparently I had been storing it illegally on private property. I had no idea. Gosh and Son's towing was extremely helpful and understanding my predicament. They even helped me with the S.O.S. to re-register my trailer for it had been misfiled years ago. The really eased the headache i woke up to. Im now pressing charges on my neighbor
This place is a massive lawsuit waiting to happen. They illegally tow cars and then refuse to allow you to retrieve your personal belongings including insurance + registration from the car (which is also illegal under Michigan law) so they can keep your car impounded for longer and rack up fees. Shady “business” if you can even call it that run by scammers. Make sure you keep receipts of all interactions with them so you can dispute any charges from them with your bank and/or an attorney.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this towing company. The woman working at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional during my visit. Her tone and comments made me feel disrespected and uncomfortable, and I sensed clear bias in how I was treated compared to other customers. No one should be spoken to or treated that way, especially in a customer service setting. I hope the company addresses this behavior and provides proper training on professionalism and respect.
I was in a car accident and Goch & Son's Towing sent Daniel out. He arrived in less than 15 minutes in rush hour traffic near Downtown Detroit, which already impressed me. As a combat veteran, I deal with a lot of anxiety in specific situations, but Daniel made the entire process so much easier. He not only towed my car quickly and professionally, but also offered me a ride, gave me recommendations for collision shops, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. His professionalism and kindness turned a rough day into something manageable. If you need a towing service in Detroit, I highly recommend Goch & Son's Towing, Especially if you’re lucky enough to get Daniel. Goch & Son’s Towing is a complete scam operation. My friend and I went there, and they told us “We have 37 cameras watching everything.” But guess what? That didn’t stop them from stealing everything from my friend’s truck – all his CPC, tools, parts and personal belongings were gone. This place doesn’t help people – it robs them, then acts like they’re untouchable. They are liars, scammers, and thieves. Nothing about this business is honest. They target people who are already in difficult situations and make it worse.
Stay far away from Goch & Son’s Towing. Report them. Warn others. This place should be shut down.
Beware of this place – it’s a complete scam! This is NOT a real business. They are thieves pretending to offer a service. They stole everything from my truck and demanded a huge amount of money. Absolute scammers! i was sleeping in my truck at a planet fitness, minding my own business. I wake up to the sound of my rear wheels lifting up. I’ve always thought you can’t be towed if someone is in the truck. clearly i could leave the sense. the driver was trying to charge me $650 Cash! just to drop the truck. i obviously didn’t have cash on me, if the driver doesn’t receive cash on the drop, then it would be $1100 dollars to tow my vehicle!!!
Hired Chris from unit 41 to bring a Hilo from Ohio to Michigan. He did a great job and was very personable. Would definitely work with Chris again. What a fantastic guy
