Very neat, small junkyard. Friendly management, clean store. One of the nicest used parts stores I have been to around SW Detroit! I will be back for more parts for my Caprice wagon.
If I could rate zero stars I would. My truck was set to bought through carbrain by this company. This company sent out Roger, a tow truck driver that is not a licensed mechanic to pick up my truck. He told me my engine was bad and refused to take the vehicle after an offer had been agreed upon before he ever arrived. He was rude and disrespectful! I wouldn’t recommend this company for anything!
I bought a couple of parts off of an old Dodge 400, I called them and they had my parts ready within the hour! Good prices too. I found out about them by using parts-search.com, they were the only yard in my area that carried a Dodge 400 and I am very pleased with their service.
Junk car removal 50 minutes north from this place! Here’s why I used them -he has the market advantage because he provides pickup and pays on the spot. I called 15 other places and NO ONE provided pickup. So, instead of paying a tow truck company $75 dollars up front for 5 miles and arranging transportation to follow to the junk yard and driving back etc. etc. headaches (this WAS my best case scenario) until I got a hold of them and I got a slightly smaller offer WITHOUT paying for towing upfront AND getting paid on the spot when he got here. End of the day, I got MORE money (because the towing was free) and no headache. Oh yeah, top notch and very friendly customer service. It was quick and painless. Thank you so much for making it 1000 times more simple out of 15 other places!
I made a purchase for an engine from them through ebay. I ended up communicating with Jack over the phone and let me just say - This is by far the best customer service experience from any retail store that I have ever had. They stand behind their products and are extremely helpful if you have any sort of issue. Give these guys a try!
Beware of this place. Before buying they will guarantee you that all parts have 90 day warranty but if you come back later for any reason the part is not as expected (which is 100% on them) they will tell you the part is 100% good and they won't accept any proof of it being bad and will charge 25% to take it back.

The guy was very helpful and since the front bumper for MK4 had some damage on it he let me have it for free 1000/10 customer service definitely worth a call for your automotive needs

Purchased a liftgate from them, they were very friendly and pulled the part while I waited after I inspected it to make sure it would fit my needs. Great service! Would definitely go to central avenue auto parts again!
Jack answered all our questions and helped find the wheel we needed after car hit a deer. He sent us a picture of his wheel to be sure it was right one.we were pleased and Jack sent me an invoice to pay thru PayPal. He shipped wheel immediately and it arrived today. We are very pleased with the service and Jack. It’s good to know people still take pride in their work.
Every time I need something for my cars, I now think to call Roger or Jeff at Central first. They always work really hard to help me find what I need, then always give me a fair price. I appreciate the way they treat me and always make me feel like I did Good! They are Polite, Professional, Courteous, and Always Exceed My Expectations. Found this shop from car-part.com They were the only place that had the specific wheel that I was looking for, I called them and they had it ready for me when I came to pick it up 30 minutes later. Already got the it on my car and it’s all good, price was good too!

The chat did not work after trying twice. Called Monday afternoon and was able to secure the wheel I needed. Was sent a bill by email and paid it after they had closed. Wednesday morning the part arrived and was as advertised. It was less than Amazon even after adding shipping and core costs. Will use you again in the future.
I went there looking for a transmission for my son’s car. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, the pricing was more than fair also. I highly recommend this multi generational family business over the big chains- a real staple in the community!
I thought they did a great job. The driver showed up right on time and when I didn't have the paperwork the original site said I didn't need when I actually did. The driver came back the next day and brought me to Secretary of State to get the paperwork needed he probably waited about an hour and a half. Every time he said he was going to be someplace he was there right on time. Extremely friendly knowledgeable I can't say enough good things about the driver came out to pick up my car. I got a price which was about what I had actually expected. They paid me cash on the spot. If I ever need their services again I won't hesitate.
