Thank you for being knowledgeable!! Needed brake pads for my Equinox, and was sold the incorrect style at another location. Wish I caught his name - but the man used logic to find the correct pads. Greatly appreciate the knowledge!

The manager, I believe my grandfather said his name was Craig, really helped us out. My grandfather is 87 years old, he gets around great, everyone who meets him thinks he is in his 60s. The battery to my car went out and my grandfather was having some issues getting the old one out. Craig helped my grandfather get the old one out and put the new one in. I cannot express enough gratitude to this man for helping us out. It's people like him who restore my faith in humanity. I can see why he is a manager. I wish I could personally see that he gets a pay raise because in today's world, I know he ain't getting paid enough. So I am writing this review and I will be calling the corporate store to at the very least tell them how awesome this employee was to my family!!! Thank you, craig!

I love O'Reilly Auto care. They are there for you when you need them. I really needed a master cylinder noone had the part even the dealership was talking about it will take a week for the part. O'Reilly's had the part for me in one day, the part came all the way for Indiana I was impressed.!!!!! this is my place, when I need parts, they did what they said they were going to do. love you O'Reilly's keep up the good work if you need to get parts O'Reilly's is the place on 9 Mile and Hazel Park you guys rock

The employees are friendly, but they’re under staffed. It’s a 50/50 crapshoot whether you’ll be waiting for 15 minutes while the associate helps the person ahead of you look up a part for their car. Prices are high too, even for 2024. I’d only come here if you really need to.

Had everything we needed. One of the guys at the counter needs to work on softening up a little. I think he has good intentions just a little rough around the edges. He will help though.

This O’Reilly’s on 9 mile Road and John R Rd. in Hazel Park is the best auto parts place I’ve ever been to. There’s always different people working, and I’m not familiar with them by name, but every single one of them are always so helpful and friendly. They’re well staffed, so you’re not waiting in line for a long time either. I highly recommend this location.

Tony exemplifies excellent customer service. His ability to assist and problem solve in a timely manner makes that O'Reilly location my preference for the foreseeable future. Give that man a promotion and/or raise. ?

5 stars all because of Darrin! He was so kind and patient. Darrin helped me to pick out the proper headlights for my car and even came out to the parking lot to help me change them. I am thankful for people like him!

Went in for a windshield wiper, had no idea what to do/look for. Steve was extremely helpful and even installed the wiper for me! Cheaper than Autozone as well. Will be back in the future!

The store on Woodward Ave in royal oak is excellent. Friendly staff seems like a big family. The young guy named William was very helpful and knowledgeable for such a young man.

As with any auto parts store you have to be aware that the people behind the counter don't always know what they're talking about! There are knowledgeable friendly staff but as I said they don't always know every detail about every part of every vehicle. Most often most often they have what you need and if they don't have it at one store they will have it at another store and they will hold it so that you can go and get the part to fix your vehicle.

Was impressed that the guy knew which customer I was when i came in because i called prior to. HOWEVER, I wanted to get my battery checked and while that did happen I was told that the error message was coming from my alternator. He suggested I go up the street to karana to get a diagnostic test done ( $50 didnt know until I went there) turns out it WAS my battery and I feel like i was misled. PLEASE get second or third opinion if you go here for them to check anything on your car.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I got some applicators and some microfiber towels for some swirl removal and they answered all my questions with knowledge behind them. Which was a pleasant surprise. Very satisfied with this location.

This place is a joke of an auto parts store. Steve is a completely useless employee and for some reason he’s always the only one on the floor. Struggling, always. Literally watched him drop a control arm right in front of the customer. The customer seriously said (if you don’t break it first…) of course Steve said nothing and just stood there looking like a fool. Done giving this place multiple second chances and my business. All you employees are completely pathetic it’s embarrassing.

They had the part I needed and were friendly enough but unfortunately, the staff of this store did not have masks on. I recommend that people shop at the Hazel Park or Ferndale locations where the staff takes public health seriously, wears masks, and ropes off counters to protect cashiers.

My wiper connection hose had broken they suggested I snip hose to insert new connection and used their tool. Only cost me less than $6 to do I myself.

Great service, even though they didn't have the vehicle repair manual I was looking for, they went above and beyond to try and get me information for the vehicle I was working on, unfortunately it isn't information that they can get, but they didn't just brush me off like other auto parts stores when I asked about the repair manual!

Poor Management and knowledge base at this location, but friendly employees. I tried purchasing a car battery very recently from this location. The employee looked into his database and told me there wasn't one for my vehicle but confirmed that another battery would fit. Therefore, I purchased this new car battery and exchanged core from my old battery. Fast forward to the next day - I called this location and discussed having to return the new battery because it wouldn't fit. A manager was present, Sarah. She explained that there must have been a mishap because there were, in fact, multiple batteries to fit my car and that this employee must have made a mistake. So I was processed a refund in the amount that was charged to my credit card. No one gave me credit for my core that I provided with the old battery nor was I provided my old battery. I called the very next day and told the manager that I was still owed the core as part of the refund. When I asked the manager about this mistake, she told me, "well why didn't you notice that when you made the return?" I found that insulting and incredibly condescending. Why couldn't you do your job correctly and know that there would've been a core difference?! That's YOUR job. So my problem with this location is the following: - employees not knowing how to utilize their inventory database correctly - management being unaware of how to process core charges and returns -management treating customers in a condescending manner when customers point out their errors - management not calling a customer back when they say they will do so

It's always great to see smiles on the guys an gals that work at the 9 mile store, in Detroit. Sarah and Brian are the most helpful people you ever want to meet. I will always keep my business there thanks for hiring good workers.
