I don’t even want to give them 1 star. They wouldn’t let me get my personal belongings out of the vehicle that’s in my name. I came into office with the title that has my name on it. He demanded that I give him 250 bucks and the title of my vehicle JUST TO GET MY THINGS OUT OF MY VEHICLE. I told them my friend had died he was driving the vehicle and had just passed away, I became upset the more I was told I could not get my things out of my car. I asked what they would do with the belongings and he told me throw them in the garbage. They tried to take advantage of me as a young woman and clearly just showed me no sympathy when I told them the horrible situation as to what was going on. Especially for a company in a small town that’s when they should be showing compassion for their community and embracing each other giving support. Instead he acted like I was such a hassle like I caused some big problems for his company. Do not ever recommend this company ever.
They'll lie to you they told me over the phone that there wouldn't be no storage fee and they charged one day fee and they said what they charged was cheap and it wasn't so that tells me that they are crooks if I had a towing company like that I wouldn't do that to people so I wouldn't recommend anyone to them
Horrible place to get a tow, I had to get my car towed from an accident and nobody bothered to get to me about where I needed to get it towed to when I needed it hljust down the road and less than 10 miles from the accident and the miles was supposed to be free and they charged me extra for services that I shouldn't have even need to pay for
$70 to unlock a car is highway robbery. I used you guys 8 months ago and it was $60. Used you a couple years before that and it was $50. You keep jacking up prices just because. You literally prey on people who are in a desperate situation. Whoever owns this company is a POS. ??

NEVER. I MEAN NEVER US THIS PLACE. Joke of a company. My husband had an accident right outside the driveway and they charged us $500. Had the police release the hold on it and he still wouldn't let us by it. Told us cash only. Square care readers are free. Oh, and proof of insurance and an ID? Don't bother. This company don't deserve your business. Threatening my husband who survived a motorcycle accident? Charged us a days worth of storage although the cops released the hold less than 24 hours ago. What a joke. Not worth your money or time.
They caused damage to the vehicle and accessories when towing the car. When this was brought to their attention they blatantly lied and denied any responsible for any of their negligence. The people I spoke with are very unprofessional, they don't let you speak and just talk over you the entire time. Also, neither of the dudes out there had any idea what they were doing. The way they hooked the car up it would not budge. I made a recommendation, the one guy was too proud to listen, the other was new and nervous and did what I recommended and the car moved until their cable snapped and almost took the dudes head off. So not only did a nurse find a more effective way to pull the car than these two tow guys, their equipment is shotty and unsafe. So go elsewhere if you want a safe transport. 0 out of 10, would not recommend.
I had a problem with my van last night and had to leave it on my customers property while I waited for AAA to find a driver to tow it. Needless to say, it was several hours before the issue was resolved. Captain Hooks owner called me and expressed his frustration with my situation and said that he’d get someone to get my van home (which is 20 miles away). The drivers were friendly, professional and helpful and definitely relieved my nerves after going through this ordeal. Hopefully I’ll not go through that again, but huge shout out to this company; I’d say they’re assets to the community.
Just had a 2002 Ford F250 and a plow off the truck, delivered to Conklin from a Greenville dealership. Driver was extremely friendly and professional, and timely in his delivery! Wish I got his name, you should make sure you keep this professional on your staff and keep him happy ?

Driver couldn't get car off his truck kept slamming front end of car into the pavement!!! He had no idea what he was doing!!!! Had to call his boss to come help then they proceeded to be rude yelling cussing at me when I offered to give some advice then proceeded to lie to a gentleman about what was said between us!!!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
Quoted me $50 over the phone to unlock my car. Charged us $60 plus a $5 “credit card fee” so $15 bucks more than quoted. Dude was also kind of rude on the phone. Not using these guys in the future ✌?
Had my first tire blow out exiting the expressway. I was pretty frustrated before a State Trooper came over to see if I was ok and referred me to Captain Hooks. I quick called and the gentleman that answered was extremely polite and helpful. He showed up within 10 minutes of my call, had my car loaded up and had me on my way. He is on call for 24 hours a day and he had said that he had been running all day but didn’t complain, still kept a positive attitude and was just genuinely a nice guy. He made the whole experience a lot more pleasant. I definitely recommend Captain Hooks Towing to anyone who ever runs into the unfortunate experience of needing a tow!
Service was fast and quick but when I called the place to pay the bill, the man read all my credit card info back to me over the phone, I’ve worked in customer service and have manually entered in cards before and when training are specifically told to not do that because people can overhear and steal credit card info.
Truck broke down on 57 and Lincoln Lake road. Called road service thru my insurance company and Captain Hook was there in 15 minutes. Even though I interrupted Tyler's lunch he was very professionally and curtious. Would highly recommend them. Thanks.

I have dealt with this tow service and knew to keep a eye on this place. After waiting two hours for these clowns I called and was informed that they had cancelled it from their end and failed to inform me of this decision. Their excuse was they didn't have a driver available. Yeah right! I have a friend in the tow business and he informed me that even though they contract with AAA places like this often use this excuse and evidently in a technical sense, evidently this type of behavior is tolerated. Beware of this business!!

I've used Captain Hooks on two occasions . The first experience with his service lead me to call him the next time . I see no reason to call anyone else for future service needs . He was both courteous and professional , l highly recommend.
Broke down in Greenville and needed a tow back to Grand Rapids. Captain Hook's arrived quickly, loaded us up and followed us back home. It was hot that day, but the driver was very friendly and even helped us push our truck back in our garage. Highly recommend them!
Excellent service. Had to have both of my cars towed today to the repair shop. The tow truck driver was friendly, efficient, and well humored. Obviously I’m having a bad day but the guy was phenomenal! Highly recommend!
They run a scam... the sheriff office called them when they showed up the driver said he was in the area. We told him we were going to drive the vehicle to local shop he stated that we still had to pay him for the call and milage from and to his shop. So we just went ahead and let him tow the car. The tow was no more than 5 miles, they charged over 300.00. Scam all around. Call any one but them.... i will push the car home before using them again.
This was the best towing experience I’ve ever had! They owner was at my vehicle fast, was super friendly and helpful! He even checked out my vehicle before putting it up on the truck to see if he could fix what was wrong! Can’t say enough wonderful things!! So so impressed!!
Do not use them if you don't absolutely have to. Watched them tow a truck into the impound lot and the truck started going sideways. (Like when a semi jackknifes.) Then they gave my daughter a hard time about getting her driver's license and my granddaughter's booster seat out of her car.
