Blake was wonderful and a blessing and was willing to pick my husband and I up in the middle of a bad blizzard when my serpentine belt came loose on my jeep. We had called several other places that either didn't pick up, were sent to voicemail or we were told a solid "No" to being towed and gotten home. Blake was so very willing to come get us and make sure we made it home.

Scheduled my truck repair three weeks in advance to avoid delays. Despite having a confirmed appointment, the staff still pushed the service back. Completely defeats the purpose of scheduling ahead. Poor communication and no respect for customers’ time. Would not recommend.

This is a great place with very helpful staff. Dan was very knowledgeable and has extensive experience.

We had to be towed when our motorhome broke down. We live out of it so they towed us to a campground, came and picked us up when the parts for my rv arrived, and worked tirelessly to make sure we weren’t stranded for any longer. There aren’t a lot of places that will work on a 30 year old rv so it was a fair bit expensive, but not something I wasn’t expecting. I would recommend them for their customer service. And also the tow truck driver came less than 30 minutes after we called originally, and also arrived 10 minutes early to our scheduled pickup time. He was friendly and informative and even tried to see if it was a problem he could fix right there

UPDATE: They charged me for all of this, but when my mechanic reinstalled it, the leak was still there. That’s when we discovered they never actually replaced the seals they billed me for—and on top of that, they grossly overcharged for labor. None of this was ever mentioned to us until we brought it back. I went to Crossroad Truck Repair to have PTO seals replaced. They charged me $70 just for the seals and almost $700 for labor alone. I was very displeased with the experience — especially since my friend, who is a mechanic, was the one who actually brought in the PTO and could have fixed it himself for less than half of what I paid. To make sure I wasn’t overreacting, I called around to other local shops afterward. Every single one of them told me that nearly $700 for labor on PTO seals is outrageous. The shops I spoke with quoted me around $250 total for the same job, parts and labor included. Based on this, I feel like I was seriously overcharged and taken advantage of. I would not recommend Crossroad Truck Repair to anyone looking for fair pricing or honest service.

We developed a brake issue on our RV trip. I called Crossroads Truck Repair and they said they could help. Jake had me text him the VIN and he had the parts there when we arrived. He even anticipated some parts that we might need. They worked us into their schedule and started on the repair when we arrived and while we waited. Jake and the whole Crossroads team were very helpful, friendly, and capable. The cost was reasonable as well. I'd highly recommend the Crossroads team. Thanks.

I have never had a worse experience with any repair shop. Don't expect anything done in a timely matter from this shop. I hit a deer with my camper last fall and dropped it off here hoping they would be able to fix the broken axle and fender. They came to the conclusion that it would need a new axle and a new fender. I specifically asked before i committed to this shop if they were confindent that they wanted to do my repair. After waiting maybe 2 months I called to ask about the progress, all they could say is they still haven't found an axle that would fit, and basically said we don't know what to do. They did absolutely no work on their end to figure out a solution, and didn't seem to have any care to help me, I never received any updates on what they needed to move forward. After nothing happened over 5 months of it sitting there I ended up getting in contact with another company and the other shop helped me order the axle I needed, and had my camper fixed within 1 day of me dropping it off. Crossroads showed ZERO care towards me as a customer.

I wish I could give more stars to this great business because five is not enough to express how grateful I am to Mike work team. It is sad to be away from family and having your truck break down. On normal days it hurts a lot, but on holidays. it hurts even more My truck broke down in Eagle mine there I met a great friend Jim Quayle at all times he helped me with my great concern and he was the one who recommended me and told me about this great business that today they are like a family to me that's how they made me feel I can't find words to express my infinite gratitude to this entire work team but a special infinite affection for DAN, the star Mechanic who made me feel like his family at all times. I work very hard to start my Truck at Christmas when people were with their family. he was helping me until the last moment For me to hit the road to return home to my family, truly infinite gratitude, I am eternally grateful.

This place is definitely 5 stars, very helpful, I want to thank Mike and his team especially the mechanic Dan who did everything possible to fix the truck that broke down at the mine, and worked very hard and efficiently on Christmas day so the driver could go home to his family, I can't find the right words to describe all the help he had, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.🥰

Terrible customer service with a bad attitude. Will absolutely price gouge you and give you the run around. Call someone else, anyone else. *editing review to respond to owners instant reply - making it look like he cares. I've watched others report their issues with no response or regard. Previous word used by others... "joke" seems very fitting.

Even tho business boasts 24/7 hours, they didn’t answer phone all weekend, not til Monday. Only a phone call to inquire but guy on phone said, “oh, those are a pain to work on. It’ll be a couple of weeks.” It was a 45-minute repair at most. I couldn’t get off phone fast enough. Found a better truck shop that fixed it right away.

A huge shout out for Blake. I hit a deer only a few miles from Crossroads Truck Repair. Broke my grill and knew I was leaking "something". I'm from Oscoda, Mi and a friend and I were traveling, headed for Baraga State Park. I stopped in and asked if someone would take a look at my truck. Blake immediately was willing to help. It was the air conditioner that was damaged, thankfully not the radiator. He removed all the broken pieces, made sure the radiator was good to go & got us on our way. I am beyond appreciative and thankful that there are still guys like Blake that work at places like Crossroads Truck Repair.

When I was up in Michigan I had a problem with the steering on my coach. I have a 41-ft diesel Pusher. I stopped by to see if they would be able to take a look at it. They said yeah. Bring it by. I did. They came out. Looked at it said we think we can fix that for you and Bobby. The mechanic was excellent. He took the time straightened it out. I can't say enough nice things about them and the cost was very reasonable. So the next time I'm in Michigan I would definitely look them up

Update #3: Oh, I wish I could give you 10 platinum stars (for those that do not know... Platinum is more expensive, more rare. More valuable than gold) THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Crossroads Truck Repair! I just did a potentially major screw up (no need for details 😁). I was sweating it, thinking I may have just cost us $5-$10,000! Who could I call to ask a question when the light bulb went off! (Sure wish it had gone off 30 min earlier) so I called them, explained what I had done the person who answered (sorry I forgot your name 😬) he made me instantly feel at ease, telling me what tp do & all SHOULD be just fine. He didn't promise or lie to me . He told me the facts on my potentially colossal mistake reassured me it should all work out.. I am so grateful for your response and for not treating me any less for being a woman and making a mistake as I have experienced in mainly male dominated business. THANK YOU! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Update: #2 I wish I could leave separate reviews. Maybe i missed a link? If not, I do understand how multiple reviews from the same person could "clog" the system. So here goes, I've updated my stars from 3 (so-so) to 5 stars (outstanding) we brought our camping travel trailer in for the brakes (we do not trust camping world) Now I had no idea they even worked on anything but semi's, buses ect. But I am happily surprised to let you all know they do. But not only will they work on your travel trailer, they will Excell at working on it, giving us honest opinions, saving us money. I am beyond happy with the men & women who work here! They go above & beyond what is required, or what is expected, they rise to the level of humanity, common sense, integrity, honesty, hard work. These employees are what I'd call the blood sweat & tears of what keeps our neck of the woods operating, working, vacationing, or just putting around our yards. I will always come back to CROSSROADS TRUCK & REPAIR for anything our vehicles & toys need. Thank you, Crossroads Staff y'all are quite amazing! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I called looking for towing, but no one answered & no return call. This is why I'm down the middle, not good, but not bad.

5 stars is not enough. Our RV broke down outside of Munising and these folks were the only ones that could help us. They were so kind, extremely helpful, and the repairs were done before we had to check out of our hotel the next morning. Thank you!!!

This place is an absolute joke! Do not bring your vehicle here! I called ahead of time asking if they could fix an oil leak and do a good look over on my 84 skoolie. I knew they had the proper hoist to do it considering they work on school busses, but wanted to make sure as mine is non diesel and quite a bit older. They said yes and booked me about a week and a half out. My "apt" was on a Thursday. My bus was towed (also by crossroads) on Wednesday one day ahead of time. I called Friday before close because I had heard nothing since Wednesday. The girl who answered the phone claimed nothing had been done to bus, that it was only towed and no further instruction was given. Told me to call back on Monday. Communication was lackluster from the start, seemed like nobody knew what was going on, or was it because nobody cared about my vehicle? So I call back Monday and they claim it's been looked at and they'll give me a call back later. They call back again Monday with a laundry list of problems on my vehicle (we're talking the smallest of problems like a coolant resevoir not attached properly, and problems ive never been told about by anyone else, big hm). The things a 1984, of course it's not going to be in tip top shape. The main reason for bringing it to them was to fix the oil leak to get it on the road. I explained all I wanted was an estimate for the oil leak, the whole reason for it coming in. They (Jake) insisted on telling me repeatedly how there's just so much wrong with my vehicle, just insinuating that it's a pos, but that they'd call the following day with an estimate for the leak. I did not receive a call the following day, but two days later. Nobody took the time to do an estimate, and I was just straight up lied to. Jake's exact words on the final call were "there's just too much wrong with it and we don't want our name on it." Funny, considering it's been to two other shops in town and they both complimented how great of shape it's in for its age. My bus was towed and sat there for a week for them to tell me they don't want to work on it and what a piece of junk it is. Super unprofessional. It was a complete waste of time. Took my bus to Quality Car Care and they were able to fix the leak in just a couple hours for less than $100! No problems whatsoever. So why didn't anyone want to work on my vehicle? Laziness? Not profitable enough? Because I'm female? Don't know. You lost out on a reoccuring customer. Your loss! *editing to add since this encounter, I've traveled across the country with my bus with minimal problems. I've been able to find people to work on it all over the country, and most comment on how great of shape it's in for it's age. ONCE AGAIN, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH CROSSROADS!

We were traveling in our motor coach and having major issues. Called and talked to Jake the service manager and he said they were really busy but would work me in that day. Upon arriving a technician named Blake who was 22 years old started rattling off the the possible problems. This guy was great, between him and Dan a seasoned tech they were able to resolve the issue that two previous shops couldn't figure out and had us back on the road in a few hours. They know there stuff and were pleasant to visit with. On top of it all the cost was half of what we were expecting. Highly recommend this place and these guys.

Dan did an amazing job on our renovated school bus. We had an issue with our starter and Dan negotiated through a pile of wires and figured out the problem. Not only is he knowledgeable, he's a great guy. Honest and we are so grateful!

Young kid driving your truck was at the holiday inn to help a tour bus. Clogged up the loading and unloading. We went th opposite way to get our luggage while he was jaw jacking with the bus driver. We were there less than a minute to get luggage and the kid had a fit. Very rude young man. I would not do business with this company if this is who they employ,

These guys saved the day, 3,000 miles away from home, the local Ford dealer couldn’t give us the time of day. Jeff worked us in to their busy schedule, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and took good care of us. All in record time. I highly recommend them.

We travel the country in a 43' diesel MotorCoach. Coming into town to go to our next campground the check engine light came on and I lost alot of power, pulling a 4 door Jeep. I got to the campground and called Crossroads Truck Repair. I set an appointment to go in the next morning to have it looked at. I met the owner, Mike, and one of his mechanics, Dan. Dan did a diagnostic and it showed a bad sensor and corroded sensor wire along with a clogged crankcase filter. They put the parts on order and I told him we were leaving the campground in a few days and could stop back by on our way out of town for the repair. As Dan and another mechanic were doing the repairs Dan showed me two other issues he found. One was a safety issue for us and the other was a safety issue for the coach. Mind you none of these were long repairs. They fixed them and we were on our way. I felt so comfortable with Mike and his mechanics. They not only explained to me what was going on and why but showed me. Now I understand a little more about my coach. I would certainly use this company again. The bill was in the range I expected and what I was comfortable with paying. Great Work guys. Mike you have built up an awesome team there. Dan, Thank you for looking out for our safety and the coaches health. And also the education on my Coach. And Frank, Thanks for getting in there getting your work done and out quickly.

The only time service to respond near Marquette after calling 4 different places. Cost was $200 for flatbed tow to a tire shop and they very kindly dropped us off at a hotel near enough to walk to pick up the van the next morning. Highly recommend even if you don't drive a semi truck!

First off, I would like to thank this repair shop for doing an excellent job. Secondly, I would like to thank Jeff Lindsey for the kindness he showed me and my son. That’s rare to find in these times. Last, but most certainly not least; I’d like to thank Blake Mitchell! This young man is a goat among mechanics! Brodie hit different!

I had a coolant line leak on my way up from Indiana, it was located up in the frame and completely inaccessible (by me). Was going through 2 gallons of coolant every 47 miles by the time we made it the the Marquette Tourist Park. We called many shops and finally found this shop on a recommendation from Camping World. They run 2 shifts and I was able to take the short trip to their shop and their mechanic was able to fix me up so I could make it home. So thankful to you all, you saved us from this hellish trip so we could make it home. (40' Fleetwood Revolution cummins 350 ISC)

Our motorhome broke down in September 2021, we called Crossroads Truck Repair. We could not be happier with the quality of work that they did. We were in their shop for two days and they made sure that we could still live in the motorhome while the repairs were done. This was a complicated engine repair, (Injector Pump) The work was done promptly and professionally at a reasonable price. Jeff the work scheduler and Blake the Mechanic deserve high marks for their professional work. We would use Crossroads Truck Repair again. Wish they were closer to my home town, they would get all of my work. Thanks Guys

These guys ROCK !! I have a school bus renovation and have had to have work done to transmission, turbo, valve adjustment and oil change. Dan is a master mechanic who is as honest as the day is long. Shows and explains things that you can understand. Jeff and Mike have been great to work with, they've done excellent work and I highly recommend them for all your diesel repairs.

Beyond superb service from Jeff and Dan the man! I prescheduled a visit as we were passing through from Copper Harbor to Munising and they were able to squeeze our RV in, diagnose the issue and fix the problem quicker than expected! Thank you for the beyond honest craftsmanship you did to keep my family safe on the road!
