Howard’s is THE BEST OF THE BEST Outdoor Power Equipment store! The staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable. They helped me get stuck nuts off my carburetor studs and didn’t even charge me. They’re the best, hands down!!!!
I didn't know the model number and was saying the wrong part at first but these guys still helped me. Jeff especially wouldn't let me give up. First time using these guys too, really can't say how much I appreciated it.
My little Toro snowblower wouldn't start, user error, I didn't run the gas out in the spring. Found Howard's online, Jeff was great, very reasonable price for a tune-up. It needed a new carburetor, he didn't charge me for the additional labor, even after offered to spilt it with him. Great place, great work, I highly recommend them.
Staff here is Great ,Prices are very reasonable and they take the time to to listen and try to assist you if you are having a problem with your Equipment I definitely recommend these Guys ??
Yesterday I broke my chainsaw cutting some tree branches this morning. I googled two stores Howard’s outdoor being one of them so by being closer to my house, I decided to go there people research or call these folks before you go. I drove up here and asked the guy can he fix my chainsaw he told me to bring it in. I’ll bring it in. He doesn’t even look at it. Well, he looks at it but he doesn’t analyze it. He states “Oh yeah, we can fix it but it’s gonna take five days. We gotta figure out why the chain came off” I’m like “ come one man five days. You can’t look at this and tell me real quick if you can you fix it or not” so I leave? I drives over to all seasons outdoor equipment. They looked at my saw and told me what’s was wrong and fixed my chainsaw in five minutes. I kid you not five minutes. Do your research people
I took a 3 year old lawnmower in for a tune-up. Howard's outdoor power equipment: Ended up with a gas leak. Took my lawnmower back 3 times. Still has a gas leak plus it has a choking sound now. The Technician claimed they had to put a new carburetor on it! No additional charges! I'm not taking it back I'm going to find someone to correct the errors! They are very pleasant, polite and helpful but terrible in repairing lawn mowers!
My favorite store to go to for mini bike parts, Howard's never over charge me and always gave me a fair price... I remember when I was first building my engine he gave me a jet for my carburetor for free and I was happy about that cause I wasn't expecting that. All his workers are cool and always helpful when I ask questions. I never had bad business with them and they don't do bad business with me. I appreciate they services

Terrible customer service, scammed me out of $100 and quoted me $300 for a simple pit bike carburetor tune up. Go to GLM Powersports instead. Didn’t fix anything and i already gave them $100. Don’t go here the old guy there is very rude.
These guys helped me out when studz wouldn't. Studz sold me the wrong parts for my kids go kart. And study wouldn't take them back even though they weren't used. Took the go kart to Howard's and I couldn't be happier with the repairs they performed. It runs way stronger than it ever did. Thank you Jeff

I bought a battery from here and never used it! When I tried to return it (with the receipt) the owner told me he wouldn’t give me my money back because it was on its side. His excuse was the biggest load of crap I’ve ever heard. I would not recommend spending money here they think people are stupid!
I love Howard’s Sports with every fiber of my being. They have been terrific to me. Outstanding customer service, and they do quick and efficient work. They have serviced all my motor bikes/ Go-karts, ATVs the list goes on and on. Don’t go anywhere else but Howard Outdoor sports. When you go inside ask for my main man “John” he will take care of all your equipment needs. ???
They stole my money and lied about what was wrong then try to sale me part that they said wouldn’t do me any good for my problem and a important part was missing so they had no plans of doing any work I want my money and the time they took for me anyways God is good and I’m a good person and know when someone is doing wrong.
Cool place with quite a few things. Helps if you really know what you need of course like all parts places. Have your make, model, engine model, and part numbers if you can it helps a lot. New parking lot is super nice also.
They have the worst customer service ever… they had my brand new lawn mower for 2 weeks. They told me all it needed was a tune up, I went 3 days in a row, for them to tell it’ll be ready tomorrow 3 time. They answer and put you on hold forever. My lawn mower is brand new still have the tag on it… they also CARVED a name in the side of my lawn MOWER. just terrible…
I bought a new Generac portable generator that ran but wouldn't produce power. Got on support with them and they concluded it needed service. Turns out the breaker was off. I didn't think I turn it off but I must have. User error. Howard's was nice enough to waive the cost of the service. They also showed me exactly how to use it and what I did wrong. Mechanical idiots like me need companies like this.
Very poor customer service took my bike there to have it reassembled and they kept it for 2 weeks just to tell me they couldn't do anything all they said they did was adjust the idle. Then they have my bike running bringing it to me so I take off on it the next day I go out to electric start it and it won't work I had to kick it I checked the battery the battery was bad I bought the bike new the battery was working in perfect order before I brought it very very shady people don't trust them I came to them to talk about the problem but they pushed me away like I was some homeless guy on the streets begging or something when they did me wrong I advise no one to go there
Jeff and John were absolutely wonderful! My snowblower was broken so after looking up where to take it with my warranty, I called. I didn't have any paperwork from the company, but Jeff told me no problem, he would take care of it! Unfortunately, the warranty didn't covert what was wrong with the snow blower, but Jeff gave me a really decent price to fix it. I was so appreciative for all the help and professionalism they showed me! Highly recommend heading there if you need outdoor equipment fixed!
Great shop for minibike builds, parts, and accessories. Jeff and John have been really helpful getting me everything ive needed. Although I haven't had any repairs done, I'm sure their work quality is just as great as they have been with my parts & customer service. Anything I've ordered has came in within 1-2days. They have had alot of high performance parts in stock that majority of stores don't carry or are special order only. Great guys, very helpful, great stock on parts.
Heard great things about this place and they were all true! Establishment closes at 4:30 and I literally pulled up at 5:38 as Jeff was walking out of the building. He asked what brought me in today, and I told him what I needed for my weed wacker. He opened the place back up for my service. I will definitely be back such great customer service.
Been here several times for parts. They usually have what I need. Decent prices. Great for weekends when other places are t open. Had one employee interaction that was less than desired, the guy acted like me giving him the part number was above my pay grade. Insisted I gave him the model number of my machine (which I didn’t have on me) and I told him I wanted the factory part / part number and he tried selling me the generic. Anyways. I told him I wanted what I wanted and finally got it. Other than that it’s been a great place to go.
Jeff and the whole team are absolutely amazing. I was told to go there by a random fellow at another shop for parts for my Apollo pit bike. I called and Jeff answered the phone and right away was able to give me the answer to all of my questions leading to me going to Howard’s and Jeff and his mechanics setting up a whole new rim tire and bearing for myself so I was able to ride on the one weekend I had off, as quick and professional as possible. Great customer service, great people. I will not shop anywhere else.
Bought a little dirt bike. Sales guy was great. Got a few dollars off. They had it prepped in 45 minutes. There were a couple little glitches that should have been taken care of during prep. Nothing serious. I’ve had it 3 months no problems. These bikes need to be maintained and gone through frequently. Tighten all the bolts regularly, change oil. Chinese models are known for weak substandard steel. It is very easy to strip threads.
The management and staff always go above and beyond for every customer! They always treat me like part of the family.
It's individually owned little Mom & Pop shops like this, that made America Great!
And customer service, it's a lost art now a days! But, Howard's service / sales / staff always make you feel welcome. Honestly giving of themselves for their customers. I'm proud to have been a loyal customer for years.
And smaller stores like Howard's give American people what America needs most, especially now... local jobs, spend you money in the communities where you live & work. You deserve great customer service, not like you get at those big box stores. (You can never get anyone to help you.)

Best small engine, minibike, moped, gocart business on the east side. Very knowledgeable staff, great attitudes, and they actually stock the hop up parts for honda and clone motors.
