On 4/4/25 I was broke down on northbound Vandyke near 8 Mile. I had contacted friends to assist and was waiting for them when your driver Travis was southbound and saw me with the hood up. He turned around and asked if he could assist. I said for sure. He contacted his office and they quoted me a price of $100 to take me up to M59 and Mound to a shop I use for repairs. I thought this was very fair. I would like to say how much I appreciate Travis and the team at Ellis Brothers for taking good care of me and getting me off the side of the road and out of the neighborhood I was broke down in. I would definitely recommend your company to anyone and certainly call you all again if I need assistance. Much appreciated.
Was just broke down in 10 degree weather last night in detroit and these were the only guys willing to give me a tow all the way home 73 miles away at 11:00. So beyond thankful for a service like this place.
Update: Ellis Brothers remains 5 stars! Not only were they able to diagnose and fix the car in less than 24 hours but the price was very fair. I definitely will recommend them!
I just took my sister to pick up her car. What nice people! The review saying they're racist did not seem to fit at all. I looked at the pictures posted on that review and got to see for myself. This is an auto shop, not fine dining. I've seen a lot of auto shops and this is clean. Cleaner than most I've ever seen. I think the price was fair and understand small businesses having to charge extra to use a charge card.. just fyi for anyone reading, so you know. I'll be asking my mechanic if it really was a fair price and if not, I'll update the review. If this remains my only review that means 5 stars all the way! Thank you, to everyone at Ellis Brothers. TERRIBLE, RACIST, and RUDE. Nasty owner and nasty employees. SHUT THEM DOWN. Also, very disgusting inside and unsanitary. I would leave a 0 star if I could. Employee told me my car was there and it wasn’t. Once asked to someone higher up she questions me as to why and refused to do so. How can you refuse a CUSTOMER request when you have my car in your custody? The car was not located at the premises and was mad when I stated that she has wrongfully informed me on my whereabouts of my car. I have reported this place to the State. Oh and I was also called a “B” word here. Never cussed at her once and have it all documented and on video. Very unacceptable.
Very good encounters with the people who work here! Sue is very nice and informative. Helped me get both of my tows in a convenient timing. Curt is an honest and outgoing person who loves what he does. It’s a breath of fresh air to interact with kind people. Tow prices are reasonable, hopefully my repair cost will be the same!

Ellis Brothers Towing is the only reasonable company that I could get assistance from, with a flat tire, early on a Sunday and Mother's Day. I appreciate the assistance and the young man that did the repair was very friendly and polite. I would definitely call them again if needed.
I’m a single mom who was stranded with my daughter in the car Ellis brothers came to my rescue not only was the lady who picked up my phone very polite and understanding as I was stressed out they got a tow truck to me less than 20 minutes and I want to give a extra special thank you to CURT He was kind, quick professional, and got the job done. These guys were the most helpful guys you could ask for on a tow job price was reasonable the drivers go above and beyond expectations I was amazed by their brand of customer service they got my motorcycle home with no complications.
Was stuck on the side of the road otw to work. Called and they had a tow there within 30 minutes. Faster and cheaper and didn’t ask all sort of questions like the one with my insurance did. Also had the car repaired in the time they said. Would use again.

From the first phone call from Ohio late at night, a nice lady answered the phone and was on it. I called from Ohio to buy a dragster race car, lol. On a whim, lol. I called in to confirm early the next morning and everything was a perfect, "GO". Once I reached my loading spot BRAD was there in 12 minutes- nice. BRAD was all about ensuring that the dragster loaded perfectly. Brad drove the rollback slow and steady as to keep the flexing of the car to zero. (We did have inflatables under for support) Unloading was done with precision and care. Once we got it unloaded and off the trailer Brad got a special call from his little daughter. Brad took the call like a father should. It was nice to see a loving and caring daddy talking to his child with compassion and assuring here he will be home soon. I like that. OUR CHILDREN COME FIRST! END OF STORY. Just another snapshot of how Brad's head and his heart are in the right place. IF YOU WANT THE VERY BEST TOWING COMPANY AROUND WITH SUPER STELLAR PEOPLE TO HELP YOU OUT JUST GO WITH ELLIS BROS. I never met these folks before my initial call, I'm from a half a day's drive away but I hope to again real soon. After being stuck on the freeway for 3 hrs waiting on AAA(never showed), I decided to call my own tow. They were fast, courteous and had me at the repair shop within 45 minutes start to finish. I would highly recommend them for all your towing needs.
Wondering experience! Fast, and affordable! Night Halk lol was amazing, I had a lock on my tire he couldn’t get it off so he went back to the shop and came back to cut it off in the rain thank you guys so much
Highly unprofessional. Telling you one price and when car is on towing they start to charge you extra fee. Rude personal. Don’t even think to call them.
