The guys in the office have always been cool. The tall doofy (maybe new?) non ferrous guy is completely, unnecessarily argumentative and aggressive for no reason whatsoever. Almost like heβs trying to get a reaction out of people who are just trying to unload their scrap and get out of there. Not sure Iβll be back, which is a shame considering how much copper I have to demo and scrap these next several months.
Of all the scrap yards this is the best! Scale is never off and the prices are highest around.
π‘editπ‘ NOT anymoreβ¦. They are not competitive and donβt price match. Only care about semi truck loads and not the LITTLE guy!! Donβt even get me started on the non ferrous guy Will, wow what an idiot.
Truck drivers:
I have no problem with the people here,
they are fast and friendly. However the lot is full of sharp metal pieces, and you can easily lose your tire. Not sure if I want to come back here.
Very friendly professional employees in&out service no wait time very reasonable with price of material dealing as a customer for over 3years no issues ππ§π
For Truck Drivers go in on scale the guy in scale house will ask u pic # , then go straight to the end of the building ther a spot to go around be careful very tide plase so slide ur tandems for better maneuver....... and then just wait some one will come and get u , after get loaded going same way around and then on other scale with is on opposite side..... and u good to go!!! Good luck!
Loading time aproximetle 3-4 h depends how busy......
They might not pay right on some things. But they pay the highest for steel in town. The service is a little different than most yards. They still seemed to be paying better in most categories though.
scale house staff is rude beyond measure and hipocrites...Al is a complete douchebag and acts like a 2 yr old child when people come to him with complaints..he interrupts you to cut you off when you make a point that obliterates his...chris needs no description lol... they never open on time..the yard is usually unprepared/a mess in the mornings for customers. they let people on the scale early (7:45) then yell at everyone else to wait outside the gate until 8. fred rips off customers at the nonferrous scale and wont help you seperate items even though he is supposed to i was told by his boss..way to chase off customers guys! wish you could give negative stars on here this place doesnt deserve a 1 star. going back to basic metals after going to slc for 3 years. mostly because of the scale house staff
