Just like the Roseville store, these guys and this store rock. They know and have what I need, and for a bit less then anyone else. This store gets a +1 though for being open on Sundays. Thanks Hastings teams.
Today, 8/15 I called at 8:05am. I got a voicemail that stated that their hours started at 8am. Then it hung up on me. I called again, same message. Same result. Weird right? So I call the Roseville location and a really nice lady answers the phone and answers my questions. (My car is broke down at a gas station) I asked if the warren location has the part, she said they did. I thanked her and figured I would give warren a little more time.
I called around 11am and was put on hold before I could even speak. "Hastings, please hold". After a wait, the rude guy gets on the phone and I can tell he is "over it". I finally get to ask if they have my radiator hose in stock. (BTW. I was also a DM for a autoparts retailer) he quotes me $220. I said "for a hose?" He said yes... I then said, are you sure? "For a radiator, yeah.... that's the price."
When I said HOSE again, he scoffs and then gives me the actual price. Great. And it's in stock? "YES". Ok... im sending someone immediately. He hangs up.
You know where this is going. They didn't have it. He never even checked.
If you don't want to work with the public, don't. I have no idea why this person is allowed to speak to customers on behalf of a company.
Old man was not very talkative or helpful. Took 20 minutes adding 2 parts and getting my receipts. If you don't like your job retire or put someone more motivated up front.
Came through in a clutch.... they only place in Detroit that had the alternator needed for my 2013 Dodge Charger R/T . Apparently, it's not the one everyone carries or has access to... GREAT JOB?
Bert is always so helpful and knowledgeable about any questions I have. He is the reason i go to hastings first before any other parts supplier. Thank you for treating your customers well! Me and my old dodge ram appreciate you!
Last week went and bought trans cooler line $87.23 was my total and paid in cash. Needed to return unopened part because I was able to get the whole set up from front to back for same price I paid for the front lines. I returned there 8/3/22 @11:28!!! I was told they had no cash to be able to refund me for my return. Was told to go to the Roseville location to get my money for the return. They proceed to say they had no money either because in the morning they have no cash for refunds. Remind you it was 11:28am not like 8am when they open. I still have my part that is unneeded now and they have no cash to refund me. All I have to say is this place is bad business to consumers! Will never buy another thing from Hastings auto parts ever again!!!! Your better off going someplace else or order it online!!! Hastings auto parts is a rip off...
A very clean establishment and knowledgeable staff of all parts you need very helpful in assisting you with anything you need as well as putting the car parts into car
I just heard about this place and I am a customer for life. Their prices are less than half of autozone, orieliys, advanced, etc.
It's like if rock auto website prices had a store, but they have oil and break cleaner and everything else you need too.
Again, cheaper than anywhere else.
And with employees who are knowledgeable and friendly.
I litterally text two people after I left to let them know I'm not shopping anywhere again for the rest of my life (aside from online, or if i cant wait for shipping) and they need to check it out too lol
Had the alternator I need it very friendly people good price worked with me on return with the old parts and we're very considerate because I was buying the part for someone else and they have rules in place that the person purchasing gets the refund back from the parts returned
Got a bad set of rear brake rotors, returned then on warranty and got another set. The second set was also bad. I was told the second set didn't come with a warranty so I'm out the price of the rotors and have to get them from a different store. Not happy
Great place. The prices are competitive with, and sometimes cheaper than, the chains, they have great selection with many parts in stock, and the staff is super knowledgeable.
Normally this place doesn't miss a beat great service, nice prices.
But this last time MAN HORRIBLE.
Got part on 2/7/19 part stop working on 2/11. Inform them I needed anyone on 2/14 & I had to tell them just give me a refund yesterday then they say no need it will be here at store before the doors open. TODAY go on my 30 minute break they asking me who I talk to wasted 25 minutes before just CHECKING TODAY'S ORDER that was the reason for call to have it ready
Always rude and the one guy that works the counter mumbles and is hard if not impossible to understand.. Thi being the warren location as well as the roseville location is the same. If you hate your job why work there?..
Excellent ownership, Robert runs a very professional business. Prices are great for quality and inexpensive parts. Most counter guy are very knowledgeable
