Leaving work yesterday my car was making an alarming noise. I drove down the road to Brighton Auto Care. Walked in in a panic, explained the situation and Matt had it seen to right away. They diagnosed and fixed the issue within 20min. And on top of that, Matt wouldn't let me pay. Thier kindness and generosity was very appreciated. I was so lucky to have been introduced to these fellas when they replaced the motor mount a month ago. Thankyou again Matt. These fellas are rockstars! 100% would recommend!

First time going to Brighton Auto Repair last month and I was very satisfied with their work. Service advisor Matt kept me well informed on progress for the repair I was having done and additionally helped getting an immediate problem fixed with my second vehicle quickly. There is a reason why so many people go to them for service. I highly recommend this business for your auto repair needs.

Recently I found myself in the unenviable position of being broken down on the side of the highway, hours from home. While waiting for the tow truck, I called Brighton Auto Repair and explained my situation to Matt. He was courteous and helpful and said they could probably look at my vehicle later that day. After getting towed to their shop, they had my vehicle diagnosed within a couple hours and repaired the next day. I was so impressed! They did good work at an honest price, with excellent customer service and communication from Matt. These guys really went out of their way to help me out and get me back on my way home. Taking our cars to Brighton Auto Repair is actually enjoyable. I always seem to ask Matt and his team to look at other issues in addition to regular oil changes. He listens and the techs repair what is needed. I’m glad this shop is here.

My wife and I were visiting from SC this week and the brakes on m our truck started grinding. I called and talked to Matt who told me that they could get to it first thing in the morning. We dropped off the truck and Matt told us that they would let us know if the cost was more than estimated and luckily it wasn’t. Misfire issues 2019 Ram 1500 Eric and Matt were both super helpful and were able to get my Ram 1500 in for engine misfire problems. Matt helped get me in for service next day (the dealer and surrounding shops were 2 weeks minimum backed up). They ran through and diagnosed the misfire and replaced the spark plugs and coil pack as well as ran through the rest of the truck to just double check everything. Some of the nicest guys to work with!

If I could, I would give more than 5 stars to Kan and the crew at Brighton Garage. They have handled work for me twice and they surpassed my expectations. Their commitment to service and going the extra mile are excellent. I have used them for work which both was covered by insurance and for items that were not covered. Both times, I was thoroughly pleased with the results and the experience.

Brighton auto was referred by tow company , after a new radiator and oil change found oil spot in garage? Took it back a was told oil filter bracket needed replacing ? Like $1800 later , as that wasn’t enough, they didn’t screw inner front wheel houses in rubbing tires badly ,wife said it’s over heating ? Figured I’d change the thermostat, there was zero antifreeze coolant ? Pure water? Worst experience ever, don’t take anything there Larry Persh

I needed a last minute oil change before going out of town and Matt was able to get me in with less than a days notice. Their work was completed quickly with no issues and the customer service was exceptional!

Matt and the mechanic team are awesome! I went in for my grinding brakes and my car making weird noises while driving, and it was driving pretty rough. The team discovered that I needed a new tire rod and wheel bearing in top of new brake pads and rotators. Matt broke down the price of each service and how long it’d take to complete each service, and when I gave the ok they got it done! My car drives like new! So grateful! Very reasonable!

Absolutely amazing shop. I was out of warranty and quoted an extremely high price through the OEM to replace my timing cover. Brighton Auto Repair was seamless to work through and customer service was exceptional. Definitely referring others to them!

It was easy to discuss price and repair options for my vehicle. Service was quick and professional. I would recommend and will use again.

Would not recommend this shop. I had about $1,050 in repairs done, only to later find out my truck is still unsafe to drive. The shop was fully aware of rotting fuel lines and a compromised frame, yet proceeded with repairs instead of addressing the more serious issues or advising against it. They even suggested fixing the fuel lines for $1,300, but given the truck’s overall condition, it would’ve ended up costing much more as other problems would’ve inevitably surfaced. It would’ve been a complete waste of money. Leaking fuel is a serious fire hazard, especially with hot engine components and electrical systems nearby. Here’s why it’s so dangerous: • Fuel line failure could cause the engine to stall while driving. • Fuel leaking near hot surfaces or the exhaust could ignite. • It exposes both the driver and others to toxic fumes. On top of that, they tried to charge me $550 for a new power steering pump—which I had already replaced elsewhere. I declined the repair, and the actual issue turned out to be the power steering gearbox. That repair, along with the HVAC actuator and an alignment, took them a full week. They outsourced the alignment to Belle Tire, and it was done incorrectly. Worse, I was told the truck was ready—only to find it was still in Belle Tire’s custody, so I had to wait an extra hour and pick it up myself. To top it off, this shop charges on the higher end of the price spectrum, and the quality of work and communication did not justify the cost. Bottom line: If safety, honesty, and value matter to you, look elsewhere.

These guys are awesome. Excellent customer service and never had an issue with any of my several repairs. They have fair prices and are very upfront with the details prior to work.

Brighton auto is professional, transparent, and I trust them. They have taken care of my elderly sister which off loads stress I highly recommend them. They stand by their work. Jon is very helpful and honest.

After my vehicle’s manufacturer warranty ended, someone in town recommended that I try Brighton Auto Repair. I was always a little particular about where I took my Subaru, and now it’s the only place I take my car for maintenance and repair. I’ve had brakes, HVAC, and front end/suspension work done here and never been disappointed. Matt and The Team are honest, fast, kind, and above all, do excellent quality work! Brighton Auto Repair is amazing! This experience was by far the quickest and easiest. Matt didn’t try to oversell me and everything that was repaired was fairly priced. Will be coming here again if I have any car issues!

I have only lived in MI for about 3 years. When I moved here during Covid 19 I searched for a good auto mechanic and found Eric's business and was really impressed with the reviews he got and especially the service received from Matt whenever I called and needed work done. This is an excellent shop! Last time I was in for a routine oil change and safety check, Eric told me we have to get my parking brake fixed for safety! Today I picked it up and could not be happier. The local dealer is not competitive and doesn't seem to care anywhere near as much as Brighton Auto Repair. All the staff here are very knowledgeable and customer focused. I'll be a long time customer!

I had a skid plate come loose on my Ford Escape in Friday afternoon traffic last week on I-96 when headed to our cottage 2+ hours away. It had doubled back on itself and I pulled off at Spencer Rd to investigate what to do and whether I could continue on my trip, it wasn't looking like a good afternoon. The day turned around when I pulled into Brighton Auto Repair. Despite having all lifts full Matt immediately came out and inspected the problem, then cut away a section of the damaged skid panel, and assured me no further damage had been done, I was back on the road 10 minutes later. Many thanks for the immediate, excellent service!

Outstanding - I highly recommend. I worked with Matt for repair of my daughter's Honda Civic. He acted with a sense of urgency, communicated throughout the process, and they did great work. Other shops I called were backlogged by several days (weeks) - Matt (and team) provided a diagnosis and estimate within 24 hours and performed the repair within 72.
