So, i went into O'reilly's today to purchase a drivers front main light bulb and I already had the housing removed, so when I initially went in, I spoke with the manager, and she asked me questions about my light. As a single woman, I did not know the answer. So I said, I will be right back and a lovely gentleman outside gave me the information I needed. I came back in and I spoke with a kind worker, and I told him I had the housing taken off, is there any way you could help me change this light bulb and he says, sure. Well then, the manager piped in and said, we are not allowed to do that. It is against our policy, and I was like what? You can change batteries windshield wiper blades, but you can't help me change a light bulb. She said, no, because it was under the wheel. Then again, her co-worker who was as sweet as can be said, he would be more than happy to change it. And then she yelled and piped up again and said he can not do that. I was not a nice person to that manager for she was defient. I am a single woman, I don't want to be taken advantage of and paying almost two hundred dollars to change my light bulb and she threatened him to lose his job!!!! I told him please don't lose your job to help me.I will sign anything that you need me to do to make you not be liable, As a good human being, as people should be, he went outside and changed my bulb. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that being a newly divorced woman having their daughter move in and their grandson with limited income. I'm begging this company to change their policy for people like me that are in need for not being taken advantage by other companies for a profit Thank God for the kind worker!!! Staff at provided the technical details to accurately assess the oem brake parts on my 2017 jeep cherokee and 2019 Ford f150 xlt. With multiple possibilities for calipers and disks they were able to direct me to provide the crucial information to get the right part the first time. Excellent customer service.

My wife just had a great experience at this store. She had to get oil for our car when it ran low and went into limp mode. Brian was very helpful. He even came out to the car and filled up the oil for her. We are so grateful!

This is my go to auto store recently. Everytime I walk in the staff is super helpful and asks what I'm looking for today. My latest visit one of the workers, Tina, asked what I needed and actually went and go the item. At other stores, they point to the aisle, and roll their eyes when I get back saying I didn't find it. To add to it all, they seem to always have what I need along with multiple variations of it so I have a selection that meets my budget. And the prices are pretty good too, so I don't feel like I'm being ripped off when I'm doing repairs. Every single time I been there, the workers knew their product and even offered advice on how to fix it. I highly recommend this place for your auto parts.

Maybe I’m just confused at the policy or expecting too much, but every single oreillys I’ve ever been to has offered help changing out a small part/ headlight. The gentleman told me I had to bring in my lights and he’d give me the new ones. He was nice but that’s why I use oreillys cause I’m just a dumb girl 🤷🏼♀️

Wow!! Top notch experience with Matt at the Brighton O'Reilly tonight - this guy is greatly appreciated by this new customer-for-life! Not only did he and his coworker offer up potential reasons for my car issue, Matt even helped to install it, and voilà, my vehicle could get out of park again. He is phenomenal, and if O'Reilly is about that kind of customer service, well - Matt sets the bar high and exceeds it. Thank you again Matt!!!

Ian was so amazing today at O'Reillys. He went above and beyond to help me and my daughter with my little Toyota. When I walked in I was greeted with a cute smile and a professional attitude. He's going to keep me coming back to O'Reilly's and away from AutoZone I'm glad that we went there today. Ian deserves a raise!

Tina the store manager is proof some heros don't wear a cape ! She is very very knowledgeable and will not give up until your issue, your parts are fixed,found and in your hands. She is a great asset to O'Reillys. I can't say thank you enough for her help not once but everytime I needed something.

Steve is absolutely awesome! I needed a new battery and he took charge of the situation and showed me which one I needed and on top of that installed the new one in the parking lot for me! He also walked through the installation process in case I ever wanted to attempt it myself in the future. Truly grateful for him!

Great service!!! Gina was a wonderful help with checking out the condition of a used car we were looking at, and ultimately saved us from a huge mistake!!! Kevin (mgr) went over and above to help me today with a battery replacement that was giving us issues. He spent extra time to make sure the battery was the issue, when they didn't have stock of the battery offered to drive me to the store that did and/or go pick it up and bring it back as I ate lunch. I insisted that wasn't necessary and drove to south Lyon store where they had it in stock, had a miserable experience with that inept staff, and returned to Brighton and asked them to switch the battery out for me even though they didn't even make the sale. Kevin happily replaced it, and then made sure I wasn't charged the core return that south Lyon charged me (even though they didn't help me nor took back my old battery). He insisted I wait in the car while he ran in the store and back to give the refund and ensured I was all set. I was blown away by his kindness and overabundance of help. Kevin and his team are awesome!

Friendly service and quick. Usually not busy inside so not waiting long. Always had parts I need in stock. Offers oil recycling drop off and large selection of speciality loaner tools. Shop online and pick up in store is quickly ready for pickup.

I have no clue as to car engines or anything other than putting in washer fluid in oil but when I have a problem these guys here at the O'Reilly's always know exactly what it is and exactly what needs to be done. I get the parts there and a friend of mine puts them on for me. Also, they're always suggesting the cheapest way to go, they're not trying to oversell me ever, and if they don't have the part in stock they can have a part delivered within the day most of the time. Ii'l have to order a part and it's there by 4 so I love going to the store I'd rather go here then AutoZone or anything, it's not a big a chain or fancy but the people that work here make this place great.

Worst service I've gotten at an OReilly. I waited in line to ask about a part, said I was in kind of a hurry. I was told to wait while they took care of the person in line behind me. 10 minutes later without looking at all they tell me they don't carry the part. No help locating someone that does, nothing. The employee I spoke with at Auto Value was much more friendly and helpful. I will be reconsidering my future business with O Reilly's based on this experience.

Customer service rep was rude and did not listen to what I was saying. When I asked if someone could go out to look at the problem I was having so we knew what specific parts to order I was told no. I left this store and called the Howell location. The customer service rep knew exactly what I was talking about over the phone and said they'd have them ordered and in stock by the same afternoon. Will definitely make it a point to drive to the Howell location from now on!!!

Ordered two mufflers and was told they had plenty of clamps. Mufflers that came in were "same as" in different part number. Only problem mufflers cost twice as much and they had no clamps. Completely screwed me for my project and were unwilling to sell me the mufflers for the quoted price. This is not the first time they have messed up my order. I am done with O'Reilly!

Went in to get some new wiper blades because the snow was bad. The gentleman running the counter pointed out that if i bought the highest end wipers they were cheaper than the others because there was an extra mail in rebate. Was in and out in 7 min. Good customer service.
