I live on Edgewood Drive which is a private road in Green Oak Township on Briggs Lake and came home after work tonight on January 14th and our road has been covered in Ice for weeks this winter, and there was at least 4” of new snow tonight. There was a Corrigan tow truck driver helping a truck and trailer that was stuck on the corner of our Lake access point in front of my driveway so I went out to see if I could help. Whoever was the driver of the truck that pulled the truck and trailer to safety is someone I would recommend to any one who needs help in a situation like this.

I love Corrigan Towing and I'm a truckspotter and I love their new Peterbilt 535 tow trucks with the dual air horns on the roof. I have got the truck drivers driving the new Peterbilt 535 tow trucks with dual air horns on the roof to honk their horns at me.

Grading the tow truck driver was fantastic. He did an excellent job. Was more worried than I was about to scratch in the truck. My vehicle God. He was in a tight tight spot to unload it and put it in and he can't rave enough about him. He's a great guy, a great driver and a very polite. Thank you very much for your service

No problem with the driver but dealing with the secretary on the phone was a nightmare. She nearly hung up on me within 10 seconds of me trying to explain what I needed. Very unprofessional.

I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a business at Corrigan Towing. The staff was completely disrespectful, argumentative, and had an unbelievably bad attitude. Instead of showing even basic human decency, they spoke to me as if I was an inconvenience and seemed to enjoy making an already horrible situation worse. I was already having one of the worst days of my life, my car was damaged and sitting in their lot, and on top of that I was expected to pay hundreds of dollars just to deal with people who treated me like garbage. The lack of empathy was shocking. No professionalism, no respect, just rude behavior and attitude. If you hate your job this much, quit. Taking your frustration out on people who are already stressed, vulnerable, and going through a hard time is unacceptable. It honestly felt like they took pleasure in having control over someone else’s bad day. This place doesn’t just tow cars, they crush people when they’re already down. I would never recommend Corrigan Towing to anyone. AVOID if you have any other option!!!!

Fast friendly service from Allie in dispatch and awesome driver Kyle that saved me on a car breakdown in 17 degree weather. I’m handicapped and Kyle needed to boost me into the large comfortable state of the art wrecker truck, a great clean Peterbuilt ramp truck. They handled my car with care and got me home safe! Very professional operation. I highly recommend!

Called Corrigan Towing on 12/13/2025 for a flat tire on my truck in the city of Howell..Brian arrived within the hour; was very helpful/very professional and towed my truck to Champion Buick/GMC on Grand River near Hacker Road. The price he quoted was fair and reasonable. I will definitely call Corrigan Towing for any future tow calls! Keep up the good work!

Called Corrigan last night with bit of an odd request i will admit. I was very transparent with exactly what i needed done and asked if they could help. I was assured that would not be an issue. The truck was very quick to arrive under 30 minutes and the driver was very efficient in doing what i needed. There was one part i made clear to dispatch when hiring them to complete the job and was assured it would not be a problem. I get a call when the driver is on site telling me they can not help me with what i needed due to liability. If they would have told me that before i hired them i would have called another company to go out and complete the job. Do better you guys also charged me in full before the job was ever even done and ultimately you guys never even finished it. The driver was super cool though

Absolute worst Towing company out there every single time yall come out l get told one thing by the driver then another thing by the secretary yall are so disorganized it’s embarrassing a company should be way better at communicating then this… not only did the lady look at me while I was talkin to the other worker but she sat there with a blank ignorant expression on her face after just talkin to me over the phone and tellin me all the wrong information… I can’t wrap my head around how a police impound lot can be so useless when it comes to information…

I wasn't sure what to expect because they needed to put me on hold multiple times. Apparently, they were busy. Excellent communication, showed up when they said and very friendly even though I was having a bad day. I'd give them 6 stars. Great job Corrigan team! Thank you for being there for us when we needed help.

In one of the worst moments of my life, a total loss car accident this man was completely inhuman. He downplayed the extent of the event, constantly kept saying things like “it’s just a car” “get over it” “just move on”. As someone experiencing this for the first time I was absolutely shocked and blown away by the absolute lack of professionalism and just basic care for human nature. I’m not asking for bed side manor from a tow truck driver, but man I thought basic human care would be basic, if nothing else just keep your mouth shut and do your job if you cannot be helpful.

Tyler is the man. very professional. He came and towed my tractor for me back to Dearborn great guy.

What a wonderful experience!!! Austin from Corrigan Towing was able to remove my Range Rover Autobiography from a rest stop( alternator issue) and find the emergency lever under cup holders to engage neutral on SUV and roll it onto flat bed without incident and tow to Range Rover repair facility. Austin is really detailed, informative and Corrigan should be proud to have him on their team! 👍

I was stranded on 96 and waited 2.5 hours for my insurance to find a tow truck before I called these guys on my own. The dispatcher got the request in right away and the driver was there within 20 minutes. I got a 5 mile tow for what I thought was a very reasonable price. I didn't catch the drivers name but he was a nice guy and worked quickly. Thanks!

THE WORST EVER! Waited almost 4 HOURS for a tow through AAA and was given so many different times. I advise you to call another tow company that can do the job in a timely manner. UNVELIEVABLE Not raining, snowing or anything. So no excuse for this BS!

After putting-in a twelve hour day in the grueling sun on a 94° day I go to enter my 2012 f250 to head home , but only to notice my doors are locked with the keys , phone, & wallet inside. It's 8:25p.m., I ask a neighboring Brighton resident to this particular site for a phone call on his phone to Corrigan Towing of Brighton. The Corrigan dispatcher states it will be $75 & will have a unit there within 45 minutes. An hour and a half is rolling the corner, with my wife & 5 children at home, I am frustrated! I grab a razor blade to cut my window graumit , another neighbor provides a metal coat hanger, so I "send it". The next morning a neighbor chimed me in that this company decided to finally arrive at 10:40 pm !?! I'd sure hope this type business practice is not practiced like it was on me to others.

I wish I could give a negative star rating they are by far the worst people to deal with! They charged me almost $800 and did over $300 worth of damage and just told me it’s part of the job and then preceded to threaten me and belittled me. When it comes to Corrigan there is no professionalism or courtesy towards there customers! The worst part of it is when you address your concern they laugh about it and are proud of what they did to you and the damage they did to your property. Thankfully I have it all on recording. They will have their day in court money can’t protect the truth.

ZERO stars would be my option. Was in an accident and the police called for towing. I was never allowed the option to call AAA roadside and Corrigan refused to call their dispatcher and have them change it to a roadside call. Corrigan never told me any of their fees. When I called to dispute the charges they could have cared less. They are garbage. No explanation given as to why they didn’t even call the day after to give me their fees. Shady business and trashy people. They want your vehicle off their lot asap but had to wait 45 minutes for someone to show back up to the tow yard to even get it out. They have a some kind of a deal with Livingston County Sheriff to charge ridiculous fees on police calls for towing. Please don’t give them business.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I called Corrigan out on Saturday to jump start my C7 Corvette. The person who came had no knowledge of Corvette's and was in the front looking for the battery. She googled were it was. It was obvious she had no experience with a Corvette. She tried a couple times and said it wouldn't start. There was no way I was going to let her try to get it on a tow truck. I had Great Lakes Towing come this morning. The gentleman was knowledgeable. He said she used the wrong jump box and blew the fuse. He got it started immediately but because of the blown fuse, it still had to be towed. He knew exactly how to get it on the truck safely. I called and talked to Bill at Corrigan this morning and told him what happened and I am expecting about a $500 bill due to the lack of experience and blown fuse. He told me it happens and the fuse could have already been blown. The other tow service got it started immediately. I told him I would write a bad review and he said, "ok, extortion". That is some stellar customer service. Lesson learned.

When my wife’s new car had a mechanical failure at work yesterday, Corrigan was quick to get to her, affordable, and got the car to the dealership without me even being present. The dispatcher and driver were in close contact with me from the time I called to the time it was delivered. They even emailed me a receipt so I could have my insurance company reimburse me. So thankful for this local company!

The young lady that helped me yesterday was awesome. Her customer service skills were excellent. She was honest, kind and patient with me. I am humbled and grateful for her help. The tow truck driver (Brandon) was just as awesome. He was just as patient and kind. I had such an awful day yesterday. I don't know the young lady's name, but her and Brandon ended yesterday on a good note for me. Your company did an awesome job with hiring these two. I wish that I could interact everyday with employees like this, that go above and beyond. Their customer service skills are awesome. It was very refreshing to interact with Brandon and the young lady that I talked to yesterday. Brandon and the young lady that I talked to, are very good and positive representation of your company. Your towing service will be the only towing company that I will use. Your company is number one in my book. Thank you Brandon and the young lady that I talked to. I am humbled, grateful, and thankful for this experience.☺️

I am beyond disgusted with the service (or lack thereof) provided by Corrigan Oil Co. Towing Service. On Friday morning, my car broke down on the side of I-96 at 8:21 am. I was stranded in 19-degree weather with my wife and disabled daughter. AAA dispatched Corrigan Oil Co. to assist us, and what followed was an absolutely appalling display of incompetence and disregard for customer safety. After waiting over three hours on the side of a major highway in freezing temperatures, with no updates or ETA, I finally called another towing company out of desperation. They arrived in just 25 minutes. Let that sink in: another company did in less than half an hour what Corrigan Oil failed to do in over three hours. At some point, Corrigan Oil should have had the basic decency and professionalism to inform AAA that they couldn’t fulfill the request in a timely manner. Think about it, did they not, at some point, within 3 hours, know that they would not be able to get to this service request for a VERY LONG TIME? No one's sitting in the office thinking to themselves, "hmm, this is going to take us HOURS to get to, maybe we should have AAA call someone else to do this?". Instead, they left us to freeze and fend for ourselves, risking our safety for hours. This is more than just poor customer service—it’s gross negligence. I missed half a day of work for a 2-mile tow that could have been handled by any competent company. Corrigan Oil showed zero concern for the well-being of their customers, and their inability to communicate or follow through is unacceptable. To anyone considering Corrigan Oil for towing services: avoid them at all costs. If you value your time, safety, and sanity, look elsewhere. This was the most infuriating and unprofessional experience I’ve ever had.

I used Corrigan for the second time in two years to tow a classic car about 40 miles, the most recent time on November 9, 2024 from Fenton to Pinckney. I needed to move a 56 year old car and was looking for someone with the experience and expertise to tow it with great care, transport it safely but also help with moving the car at both the point of origin and at the destination. Corrigan sent Jamie to do the job and I must say I was impressed with the level of expertise he had and seemed to treat my car as though it was his own. I had great luck using Corrigan towing last year and was hoping my luck would be the same this time, which it was. In addition to the driver, the equipment, including the truck itself, looked well cared for and relatively new. I am pleased with Corrigan's professionalism, the on-time arrival of the driver and find their towing rates to be very reasonable.

Corrigan get ZERO STARS FROM ME!!! For me to post my review I had to put one star but they receive ZERO STARS FROM ME…..Horrible TOWING Service that AAA uses. I waited hours on 96 for the towing service. They told me originally 30 minutes 4 1/2 hours later I’m calling. I finally get on with one dispatcher. She was so rude so unprofessional that she even hung up the phone in my face. I asked her simply for the ETA of the tow truck. She told me “I told you he’s on his way” then hung up the phone. What company towing company allows their dispatcher to be so rude so unprofessional no compassion no empathy or respect for someone, especially a woman that stranded on the side of the freeway oh, I got a real problem with them and reading the other reviews. This is who this company is horrible company horrible … I agree with the last post and I quote “ totally dysfunctional no accountability and incompetence personified in their call center… Be prepared for Corrigan to be dangerously late when you need them”.

Super fast arrival of the tow truck to my residence after calling, and the gentleman who performed the service, JR I believe, was wall to wall smiles and enthusiasm, even though it was early and very cold (he told me he was a morning person)! JR took a negative experience (having car towed for service) and left me feeling optimistic for the rest of the day. He praised the work and service of my cars destination (Brighton Auto Repair), which also inspired confidence in my choices. Awesome experience!

I called at 9am and was told that if my road and drive were not cleared of snow, you could not get me out of my driveway. At 12:30 one of your trucks was across the street assisting my neighbor. I guess you helped them because you were making more money? Very disappointing
