An hour away from home i was when Sam came right out to help me as I called with a flat tire on my truck that was attached to my trailer. They were very friendly respectful and professional they quickly plugged my tire aired it up and I was on my way! Very fair and reasonable pricing. Highly recommend calling Worth auto and tire. I am so thankful for the help this man provided when i got stranded in standish today. I 100% expected to be taken advantage of because of how desperate i was but i recieved the exact opposite. He was more than reasonable with his prices. He was vastly knowledgable, kind, respectful and honest. This shop is 45 minutes away from me and i will be making the trip for anything i need for my vehicles that i cant do myself. I will be reccomending this shop to all my friends and family. I was visiting from Wisconsin when I unexpectedly popped my tire by running over a screw. That happened to be the second tire of the week for me. The gentleman atworth automotive was very kind and quick to get me back on the road by patching up my tire
My daughters car broke down in Pinconning on Mon. Called Sam based on google reviews. Not only was he courteous, he even recommended a towing company as it was 2 hours in waiting for insurance provided tow. Took the time to go over things with her. Car was there on Monday she picked it up Wed. Would highly recommend taking your car to Sam. Price was extremely reasonable for replacing a transmission line. Thanks Sam!
I cannot reccomend this place enough. Sam is incredibly kind and trustworthy! My car broke down on the way up to Traverse City for a wedding. 2 hours from home and we were so lucky to find him. He agreed to take a look at the car to hopefully get us in our way, even though he had a full schedule. I had taken my car into a different place for a brake repair and to get a new valve cover gasket, which ended up failing and causing all of the oil to leak out of the engine. Sam not only helped me understand the issue, but he talked to to the other mechanic shop I had used on the phone and helped to explain to them the issue and worked to come up with a solution. We were stranded there for about 3 hours, and our only option was to get a rental car. And Sam even drove us the 35 minutes to the airport! We were truly so lucky to find this place amidst such a crazy experience. Sam runs a great, honest business!
Hey I went to Sam the Owner on Monday my Brakes was completely shot plus my Caliper was ruined and Sam took very good care of me gave me a ride home and picked me up when my Trailblazer was fixed he did a great job very fast great service and Sam will work with you if you do not have a lot of Money I highly recommend Worth Automotive the Owner is Sam Thank You Sam
One of the best mechanics I’ve ever taken a vehicle to. Super affordable and very honest. Also a very kind gentleman! Brought my Audi to him and he fixed it within an hour of arriving. I recommend you twice before taking your foreign car to the dealership. Make sure to call and schedule your appointment before hand!
Sam was awesome! I was stranded when my truck broke down on a Sunday and brought my truck to him Monday morning and he was able to get me back on the road by Monday afternoon. Very reasonable on price.
My wife,our 5 month old twins, and I were traveling north when my wheel bearing broke while we stopped at northwoods. This was on a Friday afternoon when Sam planned on hunting. He put our issue in front of his plans on hunting and got us back on the road. I wouldn’t recommend any other shop in the whole state over him. One of the nicest guys I’ve ever had a conversation with. Not to mention the great job he did on my truck. If you are in the area and need work done Worth is the only place to go. I was back on the road within two hours of our breakdown thanks to Worth Automotive.
Sam worked with our family’s repair needs for decades, and has always been a good man. From small engine work, tire patching and basic automotive service, all the way to major marine engine overhauls - Sam is a great mechanic and I’ve missed the quality work...now that I’m across the country.
Let me put it this way: If I broke down within 250 miles of Sam’s shop - I’d make darned sure to call his shop & get my vehicle towed there first. He’s one of the few people my father trusted for repair work, and I do too.
