Took my van in to get some used tires. Service was great. Very Customer friendly. Highly suggest this shop to get used tires. Good prices good service.
On Friday 1-23-26, I got a flat on 295 on my way to work. I asked a local FB group for recommendations and told about Southern New England Auto and Repair as well as Jay reach out himself. When I arrived there was like down the road. Can’t go wrong with a packed business at 10am. Despite being 4th in line. I was in and out in less than an hour. I paid 41 bucks to have the fire placed on the rim and mounted to my car. Would have been 37 if I paid cash. When I left there was still a line of cars waiting. I would high recommend Jay and his business.
Horrendous customer service! Incredibly rude definitely not customer friendly. I cant understand how you are trying to run a business and be that rude to customers.
The guy was pretty rude, but I chalked it up to it still being early and maybe he just wasn't an extrovert.
He replaced one of my tires quickly and cheaply, but overfilled and a used tire that was lower than ideal tread. Should hold up fine for now, but I guess you get what you pay for. He also didn't tell me the price, he just kinda gave me the cared reader. Man of little words I suppose...
I was in a rush to go home, but if I wasn't, I definitely would've gone elsewhere.
I got 2 tires put on my car last year. Price was incredible and definitely will get my business again. Drove from Connecticut just to see this guy. Going this week for 4 more. The negative comments on here are absolute BS. This guy is amazing and does a great job. I am seeing a pattern unfortunately with who are writing the comments. Keep up the great work
Unsure why the negative reviews. My car was towed by AAA to his shop and he tried everything possible to see if he could fix the car. He even let us keep it on his lot for an extra week after deciding it wasn’t worth to fix. My husband dealt with the conversations/ logistics but also says that the mechanic is honest and won’t waste your time or money. Also, gave us a great recommendation on a new car to buy and told my husband what to look out for in terms of engine etc. He’s definitely the mechanic I’ll be using if I ever need anything.
Called ahead for tires Jay told us to come on down sold us 4 damn near perfect tires put them on in less than half hr cool guy highly recommend never left there disappointed. THANKS AGAIN
I came to this tire shop today with my bf to have all four tire sensors put on that I bought from ebay that were specifically for my car and I couldnt even walk inside, the worker stopped me in the parking lot and the first thing he said to me was “those wont work” I said what do you mean these wont work how do you know? (they were in a brown box) he goes “you got those off ebay or amazon those wont work” WITH AN ATTITUDE!!! Instead of just telling me that he didnt have a programmer to install them he just kept saying “ those wont work” The sensors I had came with a note and when my bf tried explaining what the note for the sensors said he goes “I dont care what the paper says” DEFINITELY DO NOT RECCOMEND GOING HERE!!! Worst tire shop Ive ever been to. Rude workers. Worst customer service ever. It doesn’t surprise me that you got other bad reviews this place sucks!!! After this I brought my car to town fair tire where my sensors worked! LMAOO gave my money to town fair tire instead where they were installed no problem.

I recently went in to get a tire replaced. The guy was a bit rude, but I’m more concerned now after getting my issue fixed at a reputable place.
I went in because my tire was leaking and the pressure light was going off daily. He asked me if there was a light on, so I said yes because of that. He then told me my sensor was broken and needed to be replaced. I priced it and said I couldn’t do it then, I’d have to do it later. He then told me ok the light won’t go off then (didn’t think much of it because the light only came on when I needed air)
Well when I started driving to leave, my light came on that the system needed repair. I assumed it was the sensor, and called around, found a place near my house that could do it cheeper. When I went in today I was quite surprised to find out it wasn’t just not working, the sensor was GONE!!!! He removed it and didn’t tell me!!!! I asked if it could have happened any other way and was told no. So I will NEVER return here!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!
Bought 4 good used tires and installed, for what it would have cost me for 1 new tire without mounting and balance. Great price and service, I highly recommend.
I needed 2 front tires. The owner put them on. I drove to Pawtucket and 1 went flat. He was closed, I happened to be 1 block from a mechanic who was also closed. Having to leave my car overnight. I returned the next and the mechanic actually walked the block to my car. Thus, showing me both front tires were cracked and the date on them was 2008. YES, tires are dated. I couldn't just put a spare on. I was afraid the other front was going to blow out as well. I had to pay for 2 more front tires. I took pictures and a video of the tires and mechanic changing them. I returned to Blackstone showing this owner what happened and asked for my money back. He wouldn't even look at the cracked tires he sold me that were in my back seat. He was rude, ignorant and unprofessional. He put my life in danger putting these old cracked tires on my car. I demanded my money back, then he started swearing at me and threatening to call the police. I also recorded my experiences with the owner. I went back a second time and he called me a welfare case n again threatened me with the Law. I left planning on a small claims court case.
I bought 4 tires from this man last month. I gave him cash for it. He didn't give me an invoice. When I told him I wanted an receipt He said I don't have an invoice for cash I think this is unethical. I think the state police need to investigate this place urgently. Will never do business here never again!!!
One of the most ignorant and rude people I've ever dealt with in my life. Exactly a month ago I purchased a car from this business and yesterday the motor blew out and is now running 11 different codes. My local mechanic told me my options are to replace the motor or to get a new car. I called this morning to to and get some help with potentially repairing it, and seeing what my options are and getting a second opinion, as the gentleman who sold me the car, named Glen requested that we call to try and get things straightened out instead of leaving a nasty review, ironic. The owner of this business answered the phone and immediately jumped into hysterics and kept yelling over me when I trying to explain I just wanted the simplest resolution for everyone involved. He kept telling me that since it has been over 7 days there's nothing I can do, especially since it passed inspection, which is just a lie. Google is free and the Massachusetts state website says with the mileage I purchased this vehicle at I have 30 days to enact the warranty. Since I couldn't get a word in edgewise I never even got to ask if we could simply work on repairing the vehicle. Obviously this man's business isn't reputable since every review on this page speaking to his used car sales is horrendous. Shame on me for not doing better research. I hope to save people the money, time and effort that I have had to expend in this completely disgusting process.

I hope Glen finds new employment, because he seemed to be much more genuine than yourself. Never once did I demand you give me a new motor, I just told you what my mechanic told me. You have some nerve telling me that I was rude when you verbally berated me on the phone for nearly 20 minutes and continued to cut me off and interrupt me every single time I tried to speak more than 4 words consecutively to you with much more respect than you afforded me. I'll admit maybe I did let my anger get to me at the end of the conversation but I don't think anyone reasonable would blame me. I'm glad you seem to make some of your customers happy, but it's quite evident you're lacking in customer service skills.

But anyways I'm now going to get four brand new tires for 50 bucks so that's two extra tires for 10 bucks more than what you were charging for two I'm glad you think your the cheapest around but thanks for being a disrespectful older gentleman Have a good day sir! Jay is amazing! He's always reliable,fair, and tries his best... I only go to him for my tire and service!!!! I recommend this company to anyone in the Blackstone Valley area!!!!
I got there nice guy quick with his job especially by himself if I had to rate it I'm giving him a 10* definitely good pricing I recommend this place I've been many shops but way to expensive almost 100 just for 1 tire guys come to Southern New England auto repair big Recommendation.
Just had a couple tires replaced here. Great prices for almost new tires. Quick, efficient work, I was in and out in under an hour. Would definitely get tires here again.
Didn’t have a very good experience. The price of the tire and mounting and balance was fair but the tire went flat the next morning and I had to go back again and wait almost a hour which is ridiculous and was told it was the valve stem, which I got charged $5 dollars to replace when it should have been checked the first time but it is what it is. Then the next day I come out to the same tire flat again so needless to say it wasn’t worth driving back yet again to possibly have it fixed so now I have a tire that I paid $40 dollars for that doesn’t hold air.
I was driving to the AL Prime gas station. The car has absolutely zero gas left and it slowly stopped right next to this auto repair. I am not a car person so I know nothing about car.
First impression, the shop looks very ghetto. The mechanic is fixing car and smoking cigarette at the same time. Cars parking on the lot all looks very bad. But never judge the book by its cover.
He is very helpful and nice. He stopped whatever he is doing and helped me.
Thanks God, mechanic gave me some of his gas and I can drove it to gas station and pump some more. If this happens on the road or highway, I am totally screwed. My car doesn't have AAA.
If I could do zero stars I would. Sells people broken cars with extremely high down payments and tires with holes and gets upset when you say it’s his fault. When it clearly is. Got tires from him and once I left a tire fell off. Said he wouldn’t fix it and it’s not his fault. Could’ve died but that fine I guess. Sold my friend a car with problems without letting him know. Like if you’re gonna sell things make sure you know the quality or fix it before selling. Unbelievable. And he “fixes” cars while smoking cigs like it’s safe.
Went home with 3 used tires, woke up the next day with a low tire, put air in it,, wouldn’t hold air, I called Jason and he accused me of running over a nail. I brought it back a few days later, on my spare, it was completely flat. He tried for 20 minutes to find something that I ran over, to no avail.. he was rude, raising his voice to me telling me I needed to take responsibility that I could have ran over something.. he threw on another tire and told me to not come back.... next day the tire he put on was flat. I called he started yelling telling me it must be my rim... my rim is fine, I was just replacing a worn tire,,... he hung up on me. So now I’m out 38$ and need a new tire... No customer service skills.
I was having a very difficult time finding the tires for my car as they are an odd size, but he ended up finding one that he had laying around, and had it on the car and balanced in under 20 minutes, I would definitely recommend him for anybody who has tire needs!
Great place to get any tire you are looking for. Vast variety and you can get 1 or 4, prices are reasonable and he will balance and take your old tires. One guy doing it so if you are in a rush you might need to call ahead and schedule a appointment.
