I purchased my dream car, a 70 Chevelle from high octane Classics in the spring of 2025, I met with Dan the sales guy and looked over the car, I noted a few issues with the car and Dan assured me that his Service Dept would complete a multi point inspection on the car before it would be delivered to me and all of the issues would be sorted out, Dan also told me that the car was a fresh build that had been built in Van Nuys and that the dealership stood behind the cars and I had nothing to worry about. The car was eventually delivered, and a ton of issues were located when I had the car independently inspected. The following issues were found. 1-radiator was loaded with debris and looked like it came out out of a 20 year-old car 2-the brake booster was not installed correctly and the brakes would not operate properly 3-the transmission which I was under the impression was freshly built, leaked from everywhere 4-the cooling lines for the transmission we’re leaking and hanging only a few inches above the ground 5-the headlights would work sporadically 6-the wipers did not work 7-the windshield and back window both leaked when I washed the car. When I told dan about this, he told me that he never washes his classic cars to avoid this very issue? 8-the car overheated on the first warm day that I drove it. 9-the rear end leaked 10-the power steering pulley sheared the key and resulted in no power steering 11-the rear main seal leaked 12-metal shavings in the oil 13-I was told that the car had a stroker, but after further inspection, the independent shop found that it was just a regular 350 small block Dan did initially make an attempt to repair some of these issues but the car unfortunately came back worse , the car again went back to high octane classics after starting to run extremely rough, Dan guys then put in two oxygen sensors and sent the car back to me. while the car was at high octane classics it also suffered an electrical fire while they were driving it. Dan immediately tried to blame it on an aftermarket stereo that had been installed. But he did not convey his lies to his Garage staff, which told me the truth about where the fire occurred. The car is now at another shop and needs an engine . This is after I spent considerable time and money replacing the brake booster radiator, fixing some of the wiring and fixing the headlights. In summary if you’re going to buy a car from Dan have it inspected by an independent mechanic before you make your decision . Dan talks a good game, but he did not stand behind this vehicle and I essentially got stuck with a $65,000 paper weight. Dan at one point offers me 1500.00 dollars to go away. Matt in the sales office was very helpful, he tried to negotiate a solution, but Dan and his partner Barry Lundgren wont even answer a email. Buyer Beware

Bought a 1970 Chevelle from High Octane. Spoke with Dan about the car first then was passed off to Matt to finish the deal. Signed up to have the car shipped from their shop in Mass. to PA. Took about a month to get the car after paperwork was completed. The reason for the wait was after several thorough inspections, they found things that were wrong that they wanted to fix before sending it to me. Communication was great any time I called or emailed, and they let me know they could deliver the car immediately if I had to have it right away, or they could fix what they found wrong (cracked gas tank neck, back up lights wiring, cracked steering wheel, ripped back seat, etc) so I wouldnt have to worry about it, all at no additional charge. They also provided a list of repairs and details about the car above what was listed on their sales page on the website. This was my first time buying a car sight unseen. Dan, Matt and High Octane made it a very seamless deal, through the sales, organizing financing, registration, and delivery. Arrived before Christmas so I was able to have my dad be surprised, as well as my fiances father and grandfather. Car runs and sounds GREAT!

Approximately 3 weeks ago I bought a 69 Pontiac TA clone from High Ocrltane Classics. I paid $70,000 for the car. Firstly I was told by the sales person Dan M. that the car had a digital dash. I was also informed that the car had a oil leak and the alternator light was on. I got the car pulled it into my garage and confirmed the car still had a oil leak and the alternator light was never fixed and guess what no digital dash. They never completed the repairs as mentioned by the salesman. Also I have requested for a list of items that were done to the car. I have reached out multiple times and the salesman is ignoring me. It's obvious that they told me all this before I bought the car just to get the sale. Honesty goes a long way. I do not recommend spending your hard earned money here. There are many classic car dealers out there. Be careful. 11/11/25 Im adding to my original review in response to Dan at High Octane response below. He said the alternator light can't be on because they unplugged it. This is exactly my point unplugging the wire from the alternator so the light goes out is NOT FIXING THE ISSUE. His response about the oil leak is bogus. I pulled the car out of the transport trailer and parked it in my brand new garage. 2 hours later I took the car out and there were multiple oil drops on my concrete. As I write this post I have a oil pan sitting under the car the catch the oil. Finally Dan says I didn't tell him. Lies, I told him 1 day after I received the car. He also sold the car to me under false pretense telling me it had digital dash. Typical sales person. Do not buy sight unseen from this guy.

Do not purchase a car from High Octane. Not only was the car misrepresented, but they also held my money for over three weeks before I heard from them, despite my calls and emails. Once the car arrived, it wouldn't pass inspection due to a broken light switch. When purchasing the car, I did a video call with them and asked them specific questions about it. They outwardly lied about the condition of the body and the engine. I paid a premium for a barely roadworthy vehicle. Now they won't even respond to my emails. In my opinion they are a bunch of crooks and live up to the "screw them" mentality of many used car dealers. I am not the average used car purchaser. I have a collection of vehicles, and these people are the worst I have ever dealt with. Avoid them at all costs. UPDATE: I am adding a picture of the Bill of Sale from High Octane, just so all the readers know that their response, where they say they don't know me, and that I never bought a car from them is a complete lie. Again, avoid buying a car from them, this is proof of the type of people you would be dealing with.

Recently bought a 68 mustang. Coupe winner on white from high octane. The car has exceeded everything I could have asked for. Danny and Brian as well as Sam in service went above and beyond to make sure my purchase was handled with professional care from the first contact till past delivery of the car. Great company and people. Will do more business in the future with high octane.

I stop in here yearly and have yet to buy from them but I always leave impressed. I have several Harleys and when i visit the HD shop close by I like to check out their inventory for the day I decide to buy a classic. Danny has gone out of his way to show off his collection and is a true gentleman. I always say I'm just riding by and looking at the candy shop of clean classics. He isn't trying to push anything but just talks to you as if you are dripping in wealth. I will buy from here some day because of him, impressed by vehicles, shop and a true car guy. Watch the 🐝 bro!

I’ve asked and never received a running video of the listed vehicle and a spec sheet. No reply from them. Have bought north of 20 cars on line and never been ignored like this. Terrible customer service.

I can't say enough good things about the team at High Octane Classics and Eric Goselin. Although HOC specializes in classic muscle cars, they went above and beyond to help me find a gorgeous “traditional” vehicle that fit my needs perfectly. Their knowledge, dedication, and willingness to assist, outside their usual scope, made all the difference. Shortly after I purchased my new car, my son found himself also needing one. Once again, High Octane Classics went above and beyond to help him. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with kindness and respect. They listened to his needs, provided excellent recommendations, and never pressured him into making a decision. What truly stood out was their willingness to go the extra mile. They worked diligently to find the perfect cars within our budgets and even stayed late to ensure everything was finalized smoothly. It was clear they genuinely cared about helping us, not just making a sale. The whole experience was seamless, stress-free, and even enjoyable. Thanks to Eric and his team at High Octane Classics, my son and I now have a reliable cars we love. If you're looking for a dealership that values its customers and delivers top-notch service, look no further!

It's hard to work with them, nobody pick up phone and when I come to them they been rude. They threatened me that if I don't delete this text I will lose my job but now I out of business and I can leave it again Absolutely not recommended this place

Purchased my ‘65 Mustang from High Octane, they were helpful all through the process and made sure everything was ready to go when I picked the car up. Danny and Mike did a great job, and Rick in their service department left such a good impression with me that when it comes time to make the upgrades that I’m already looking into I’ll be bringing it back to them alone to do the work.

Nick is a great guy and straight forward. Knows the classic car business well. Understands the value of vehicles. Would highly recommend doing business here.

Had an amazing experience at high octane with my boyfriend and we purchased a chevelle that was better than expected. Very impressed with the knowledge Nick our sales person had on all of the vehicles in their inventory. Will be back again for our next classic purchase!

Nothing but good things to say about my experience with High Octane Classics. From the very first phone call I made to Dan to dealing with Matt to set up payment and delivery was exceptional. Very professional and helpful in every step of the process. Would highly recommend buying a classic car from their dealership.

I bought a 68 satellite from them and it was a nightmare, 383 I was told had a "mild cam" it didn't but it did have a bad wrist pin, a bad 4 speed, bad tires, idler arm was seized, ball joints were smoked, tires were bad. The entire experience was horrible, I was lied to from start to finish then I found it online and what they bought it for, needless to say I was robbed big time. I recommend staying away from them.

Hats off to High Octane Classics. I feel like I won the lottery. Saw the best looking Cobra ever made. From the moment I saw this beauty online, it was a dream come true. At 64 years old, this is the car I have wanted my entire life. We drove up to pay for the vehicle, my wife came with me, and Danny took us around the shop to let us see all of the vehicles as I had told my wife about all of the amazing cars they have, spent time with us and made us feel right at home. Not sure how we were going to get the vehicle home, Danny arranged to have the car delivered to our home on the very day that it was purchased. The delivery was flawless and the driver could not have been more accommodating and pleasant. Thanks to Danny and his team, this was the most pleasant, I’m efficient and all around nicest experiences I have ever had in all of my years purchasing vehicles. Repeat customers for sure! Thank you! I purchased a 1970 Lemans Sport back in December from HOC. Before I went at looked at it I was told it was an excellent car. The sad part about it was I actually looked at the car the poorest inspection I've made in my life. The only thing good about the car was the body and frame. The motor a 400 was out of a 69 Grand Prix the 4 speed m20 was from by the numbers out of a Camaro and the tail shaft out of a 63 to 65. The steering box was junk. I was told the AC was converted to R134a which he says he didn't remember the conversation. I didn't check it ( my bad) it wasn't converted and didn't even work. The rear end worse yet, I took it apart because it was howling. I found the ring and pinion not to adjusted right with major pitting in both. To make matters worse there was shim debris in the bottom of the housing from the spider gears. Trim around the rear window was not installed properly and beat it in with a rubber hammer. All the chrome is bad and the windows don't seal right. I called them, he seemed to think since it had good bones it was worth the 30,000. At best it was worth 20,000. Thank God I know how to work on cars or I would have been even more screwed. I would never buy anything from them again let alone unseen. Again though a lot of it is on me for not doing a better inspection, but again he said it was an excellent car.

I bought a1973 camaro that looked nice was told it was a great car and it is far from that, not even a good car. The brakes go all the way to the floor and still barely stops the gas pedal flips backwards while driving VERY DANGEROUS, THE HOOD NEEDS COMPLETELY REPLACED ITS IN SUCH BAD SHAPE THE DASH IS ALL BUSTED UP THE DOORS DONT LOCK THE SEAT BELTS ARE BROKEN, SCRATCHES AND DINGS ALL OVER THE BODY, THIS IS STUFF THEY COMPLETELY HID IN THE PICTURES. They kept the car an extra day to go through it mechanically, that obviously didnt happen because it is very unsafe. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY DONT CARE WHAT THEY SELL AT ALL. ITS LIKE A JUNKYARD GOLD CAR WITHOUT THE GOLD.

I inquired 3 times in the last two weeks about a car that is still on their website. Never heard back from them. I'm glad I didn't wait. I bought a 70 Monte today for the same price elsewhere. I guess my money is no good there.

I bought a 1967 Chevelle SS 396, numbers matching car, sight unseen, in mint condition. When it was delivered, there were no brakes (still a mystery as they said it was test driven before shipping). I immediately called HOC and explained the condition. Michael was understandably shocked, but said they would work with me on getting it fixed. The car was delivered from Massachusetts to Arizona, 2500 miles away, so I couldn't take it back. I took it to a local auto repair shop, and they fixed the problem. I sent the bill to Michael and he said they would cover the entire cost of getting it fixed. It is a beautiful car, and HOC followed up with excellent customer service. I would buy from them again.

These guys are the best! Take it from me, when it comes to purchasing a classic car you need people you can trust and are patient. I’m a novice when it comes to classic cars, Danny and Nick took the time to educate me and they were extremely patient. You can tell they LOVE what they do. They aren’t in this business to just “move cars” they wanted me to get the car of my dreams and I did. I cannot thank them enough. I’ll be a loyal customer for as long as I own my “new” car or any future ones. Whether you're new to classic cars or a veteran, High Octane is the real deal. Ken Hiscoe Franklin, MA

I’ve stopped in a couple times to look at cars and the second time that I stopped the owner came up to me himself shook my hand and introduced himself. He personally give me a tour of this whole facility and all his cars. We ended up talking about life and family and had a great conversation. I truly enjoyed speaking with him. He has an amazing collection of rare cars and loves what he does. Btw I’ll be back to let you drive the Trackhawk! 😊👍🏻
