I recently had my car inspected and serviced, and I’m very impressed with the experience. The inspection was thorough, and the maintenance on the engine was handled with great care . I especially want to highlight George, the inspector—he went above and beyond to ensure everything was done properly. His professionalism, knowledge, and dedication made the process smooth and reassuring. I highly recommend their service and truly appreciate the excellent work.
Avoid having your car serviced at the station. It’s fine for inspections, but they will overcharge you not in their hourly fee but they highly exaggerate the amount of time they claim it takes to fix things and put huge markups on non-OEM parts. Their specialty is preying on people that don’t pass inspections and inflate the costs to repair and pass. Often even lying about what needs to be repaired in order to pass inspection.
Had state inspection and they identified an issue that was absolutely critical to get fixed. They were polite, professional, and kind, and once I had the issue repaired my vehicle was quickly seen and passed. Special thanks to George for his work today and would absolutely recommend in future.
I went here for inspection sticker. The guy inspecting car came to me and said your windshield wipers fail, I'll show you. He lifted my passenger side wiper and the rubber was pulled away from one end to almost the other. No way would I have not noticed that when wipers on. The strip would have flopped around on my windshield. I think he ripped rubber to make it like that. He charged me extra $40 for new blades. I'll find new place next time.
Very rude people never going back again. I asked The manager to show me what he was talking about on my car. He goes come on over here. Let me take you by the hand , like I should have known what he was talking about. Jesus! I told him right then I would never be back!
AVOID. They failed my car inspection for tires even though all of the treads were above 2/32nds. They were trying to push me to buy 4 new tires through them and started getting angry when I didn't want a quote.
My whole family goes here for gas and inspections and when we had a non-warranty vehicle we had repaired here. We have had nothing but a great experience and super friendly interactions. Prices are reasonable - the wait room isn't ideal but they're so quick it's irrelevant!
This place had people cutting us in line for our inspection and then failed us multiple times for a problem that our mechanic fixed, but somehow every time we get back there gets messed up again. Claimed the headlights weren’t in line when we saw they were prior to going to get the inspection. This place seems like a scam.
I went to them because this splash guard was dragging the ground. The guy put it on the lift and pulled the splash guard off and said he couldn't tack it back up.
Then he charged me $90.00 for taking the literally, one minute, to pull it off. He charged me a full hour of labor and said that was their policy for any car entering their garage.
Now it doesn't cost $90 for an oil change? Why this?
I won't be going back.
Failed inspection for wheel bearing, went to good year to get it fixed goodyear said they shouldn’t have failed me I went back to the gas station and guy was extremely rude to me and told me if I came back he was gonna fail me again
The crew here were very nice. I had my two small children with me. They had me in and out for state inspection in 15 minutes. I felt they accommodated me as I was stressed with my kids all hyper. They were very nice.
Simply horrendous experience. Terrible customer service and terrible experience. I have a wife who just had a C-section, a 1-year old, and an infant at home so I needed a quick inspection and oil change so I could get back home. I called and explained this and they said it would be 10 minutes, 20 tops. Instead, they kept me waiting for over 90 MINUTES! There was never a word of explanation or apology. Finally after an hour I asked what was going on and how long it would be. I'm still not exactly sure what the explanation was. I think it was due to the fact that I got an oil change and inspection (never mind this is what I said on the call) so apparently each of those by themselves are quick, but together for some reason take an hour and half. I will never go here again and would strongly recommend that anyone reading this find another service center.
Rude staff to work with when getting inspection stickers done. They order you out of your car and rush you around like you are a burden. I had a staff member literally tell me to hurry up. The parking lot is too cramped.
Avoid this place at all costs. They fail inspection on purpose so you can comeback for services at which point you will be out of options. They are highly unprofessional talking in their regional language which almost feels like they are fighting.
They failed inspection on my new car. Suggest going to other inspection places where things happen hassle free. Again, if you are going go for the gas prices and it’s full service but avoid any auto maintenance and inspection. This is the second time I am going though this.
Fair market prices for gas which they pump, NO extra fee for using a cc. Oil changes, inspection stickers, whatever it is they do it for you. Just had brakes done, in and out in no time, quality work and again fair market prices, no gouging allowed.

In and out quickly at non busy times (midday weekdays). Went to get a state inspection and was in and out in probably less than 20 minutes. Fair prices for both gas and other services.
Ripped me off. I took my car here to get inspected and they failed me for my suspension. I brought it back the next day and they said my front passenger side wheel bearing was bad. They took me out to the garage and showed me how the front passenger side wheel wobbled while the car was up on the lift. I said ok fix it no problem. 2 months later I take my car to Jiffy for an oil change and rotation. They jack the car up and surprise! The same wheel wobbled just like before. I bring it back to them and they said it was the drivers side originally and that was the one they replaced which was a complete lie. I believe they replaced the drivers side bearing but I specifically remember looking at the passengers side wheel from under the car while it was up on the lift when I got the job done in the first place. So now I have been driving on the same bad bearing for the last 2 months thinking it was fine and still have to get it fixed. Somewhere else.
Also, when I took my car for an inspection the guy tried to fail me because my bumper was dented. “It’s too much damage.” he said. Says who? It’s cosmetic. But guess what? They just so happen to do body work as well and would be happy to replace it. When they “took care” of my wheel bearing the dented bumper was no longer an issue. as long as they got something out of me I guess.... Stay away!! They are crooks!!
They do inspection stickers on Saturday until 4pm. Takes about 20 minutes. Give yourself time, and give them time to complete the service. Most places that do inspection stickers are not open on Saturday, or stop tffering inspection services much earlier than 4pm.
Late in the day,ask if they could do a sticker,yes,no problem about 20 minutes.Very nice people,will come back if I need work on my vehicles.Good experience.
My husband and I just bought a car from here back on 10/02/18 and we are simply amazed at what we got for the price. We are very very happy with the car. Not to mention the owner and his business partners are sweet and amazing
This was my first time going to Franklin Gas & Auto. They were all very polite, friendly, and honest when it came to what was happening with my car. I definitely be coming back to this place in the future!
I dropped in around lunch time, during the week, and was taken in immediately. The mechanic worked quickly and didn't fool around. I drove out 10 minutes later. My wife has the same expereince on a Saturday.
