Open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Dedicated locations to dump various types of trash. Clothes, mattresses, electronics etc. They charge for TVs and Mattresses. The sticker is only valid for one year. And it's during the fiscal year July to June. So it means if you buy the sticker in April, you still need to buy another sticker in July. I learned the hard way. Overall it's a good place and service. And there's free compost.
We had a trailer full of the following: wood, rugs, old basement door, cardboard.. the Franklin Recycling Center does not take any of the above items less the cardboard- and to our deeply sarcastic sense of humor they asked us if we could bring the cardboard back the following week because they were full. I will let you decide how useful you think this place is
Went to recycling center today, Friday, 4/17/2020 at 10:00 am with my yard waste only to find it closed. It is supposed to be open from 8:00 - 3:00 for yard waste only. This is the second time in the last three weeks I've had this problem. Why am I paying an extra charge for a sticker if the town is not providing a reliable service?
