To be honest I Was thinking about Brendan and his dealership every time I get the urge to buy a vehicle I always see what he’s got. I bought a Tahoe from him years ago and that thing had served me well. It went to his shop one time and he fixed it right away.never had any issue and received my title with no issue whatsoever!!!! Giving him a good review now because I never did before!!!!!!

Well just drove my car home and it drives lik new! Third car I've purchased here and will go back again and will continue to send people to Loftus City Auto in Taunton you just can't lose . If I could go negative stars I would. If you buy a car from here after reading the reviews, then shame on you like shame on me. I read the reviews and still went. My car has been in and out of the shop since I purchased it. I finally took it to a shop that wasn't owned by Brendan and they were in shock. They couldn't figure out what his mechanic did (and they worked on it for almost 2 months straight after I purchased the car) and now when the GOOD mechanic calls, Brendan suddenly has AMNESIA! He can't remember selling the car in 11/2024 and it is 4/2025. He does not have ANY of the repair records of me bringing the car back, having the car towed back...NOTHING. Then tells the new garage to have it towed to HIM and he will fix it.......ARE YOU KIDDING ME! They new mechanic wouldn't send his worst enemy there and refused to let Brendan have the car towed back to his shop. BRENDAN is NOT OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please if you listen to anything in your life, listen to this review. I have waited months upon months to post this in hopes that my $11,500 car with less than 2,000K miles put on it in 6 months because it's been broken down, more than it has been running would be fixed correctly by Brendan, but NO!!!! The new shop that is local and has 5 star reviews and is known for their reputation can't fix it without thousands being put into a car that is 6 months old!!!!!!!!!

Definitely feel robbed. It’s a lesson learned. Paying over 17,000 for a 2011. Already paid almost 9,000 then they say oh you owe 8,000 more ? place is a joke please don’t go here go somewhere else. Save your money!! Greedy place! I’ve seen my car other places going for 8,000 total buy out 11,000 . They are charging me Al oat 5,000 in interest for 24 month pay off. Car isn’t worth over 4,000 book value. Guess that’s what happens when you are a hard working women with no dad or boyfriend to check the car out with you they take advantage because they know you NEED a car. I will not recommend this place for a car. Almost thought it was paid off to find out I have another 8000 to pay price always changes. Don’t go here save your time please

Brenden is hands down the best around!!! I didn’t have the best credit but he still worked with me and got me into my beautiful Avalon…I did have a issue with the AC compressor a few months after purchasing the vehicle and I had absolutely no issues with getting him to fix it even stood open late to make sure the job was done and didn’t charge me a penny…If you need a vehicle definitely check out Loftus Auto in Taunton MA

Brendan and Laurie are absolutely great people! They were able to give me a car for my wife and I even without the full amount. Gave me a car that broke down every 2 weeks. Engine light kept coming on and they kept finding “different” reasons. I’ve been towed twice back home. On two separate occasions they had they car for a week and once over the weekend. When I picked up car I had to wait. It wasn’t even on property. 20 minutes I waited and when returned oil was smeared on interior and issues wasn’t fixed. Car stopped driving completely June 12 2023. Brendan and Laurie Loftus we’re made aware. Yet on July 12th I got a voicemail to call him. Today when I returned call he’s response was “I thought you were bringing me the car to fix” … clearly they don’t listen/pay attention or care about the safety of their customers. THE CAR STOPPED DRIVING AS I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY… ONE LANE. I had to wait 2 hrs on the side of the road to get towed home for a car that was just purchased in December with 70,000 miles on it. & since I got the car to work and I can’t get to work with the car I had to take it off road because I’m not working. Whilst doing so the RMV and insurance was kind enough to inform me that the vehicle is not registered properly (go figure) I filed for lemon law arbitration Brendan Loftus then threatened me today. Of repossession & others things via phone call. Threatening me was a mistake sir. The public will be aware of your shady practice. I cannot add videos so the pictures will have to do. TikTok will take care of the videos.

Every vehicle on the lot seems like it was hand picked. Definitely nicer examples of what's available for used cars. I picked up a Mustang yesterday. This car was fully reconditioned and serviced as it should be. No disappointments here. I'll will certainly do business here in the future! Thanks again!

DO NOT buy a car from this place. I know some reviews can be passed by, but please for the love of god don’t. We put down $4,500 and paid every month except ONE month late and they repoed the car. We tried to make payments before they even filed for repo with PROOF of trying to make payments and they basically said “good luck in court” and told us to leave. I’m begging you to avoid this place at all cost and DO NOT speak to the women in the back.

Went there to buy a car and the salesman or the owner of this bussines treatme like I’m too broke to afford a car, and wasn’t helpful at all talk whit him about 2 min, went to the Toyota dealership (east providence)and got a car there. Best desicion ever, because the majority of the cars in loftus are trash, if buy from them be ready to loose your money

Drove a total of 7 hours to look at this 2008 Honda Element. Price was reduced once but still quite a bit of money. After multiple conversations on the phone with the very charming owner Brenden I decided to make the trip to test drive and take it to a mechanic. Disaster. Test drove it in Taunton as well as traveling a few exits down 495. Car seemed to be running rough compared to my previous 2 Elements. Took it to Kevin’s Auto Shop in Taunton. Not only did the car require thousands of dollar's of repairs but was severely rusted underneath. The rust had been spray painted over with black paint. I hope this saves someone a trip. BYW if you are looking to purchase a car near Taunton google Kevin’s Auto Repair. He was the saving grace in a super frustrating day. Can’t say enough good about him. Can’t say anything good about Loftus Auto. Worst dealership experience ever! And I’m 65. BUYER BEWARE The one star is only to be able to post a review.

I drove 1hr 15min To get to this dealer, I wanted to test drive and purchase a Chevrolet Camaro but found out it had some safety issues like brakes, tires, starter, headlights, seatbelt and Brendan ( the salesman) promised me he was going to have the car serviced the next business day, but he didn’t. He didn’t follow up with me on the status of the car and also showed no interest on lower the price of the vehicle. It’s been Three weeks and didn’t hear back from him. Bad business

Bought several vehicles from them 5 + a motorcycle. Recently we purchased a 2010 Thundra Since we paided $ 23,000+. We have had nothing but problem $5400 for a new tran, wiring problems ,+ a few more things. We got told our problem not his. He doesn't report your credit report. Wife (finance company ) is so money hungry. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! He will screw you!.

I am on my second lease with this company and it will be my last! Horrible and over priced! They finance in house but will still give you the highest percentage possible. Never willing to help or accommodate returning customers. Also put after market parts on cars. Bought my car a year ago and just put 1500 in parts already.

I was helping my friend to locate the right car he really wanted, and happened to find one of the Loftus listings while I was in MA (visiting from VT). Brendan was the most incredible Used Car salesman I have ever met! He went out of his way to help me “surprise” my friend by actually arranging to meet us on the very limited time schedule I had (as I was heading back to VT). Not only did we both love the car and its immaculate condition (for a 10 year old vehicle!), but Brendon’s worldly personality, no pressure demeanor, and kindness was warm & inviting.

Having seen Brendan and Laurie work with prospective customers, I have always been impressed. Never pushy. You decide what you want and they do all the legwork to connect you with a lender. Their customer plan actually helps folks with credit problems get the care they need.

Have no idea why Loftus got such flack from some reviewers - I had a great experience working with them. Brendan was a tough but fair negotiator and gave me all the information I needed on the vehicle I was buying. Lori was spectacular at contacting me for important documents and to-do's before the purchase. If you are shopping for a used vehicle, Loftus is a great place to start.

I bought a car 3 years ago. Anything that needed to be done before I purchased, they happily did it. My car was in great shape and they work with you with down payment and monthly payment. I recommend them to anyone.

This place is amazing!They help automatically! They are truthful!! Especially, since I'm a woman. And they treated me the same as a man. I know alot about cars!! I was with a man, but, he didnt see him at first. He treated us, very nice. Going to buy a truck and car from there!!! 5 stars!!

Absolutely no. This is what a sneaky car salesman is about. Idknif he is always like this but I told the sales man I just had my credit run a bumch of times. Hes say we dont know without checking. He says we do a pre check and wont run a hard inquiry. Asked me what car i was looking at and tokd me he can prolly get me approved. Well I barely got home and I see that there is a new inquiry from these guys bank. No from me on these place.

The car was better than advertised, really good value. More than that, Brendan and his staff jumped through hoops to get it registered and inspected on the same day to make it easier on me and my family. I'm suspicious of most used car dealers, but these folks were straightforward and legit at every turn. I'll just start here for my next car.

Nothing but kindness, these people were the only ones to have faith and let me finance a car even though I had less than nice credit. Even though I bought my car well over a year ago they still service my car for half the rate of any other place. Brendan the owner is extremely helpful and help me find the perfect car within my price range and did it without the pressure you get from other dealerships. I'm not sure why the other person who wrote a review wrote such a poor one; I would and do recommend it to anyone and everyone!!!
