The young man was very pleasant and efficient. We were told his arrival would be 1:00 pm but he didn’t arrive until 3:00om Updates would have been nice. If I had to wait in the cold I wouldn’t have been too happy.
My truck broke down 200yds from their shop things went very smooth,as it was a larger truck,not much more than an hour later it was being dropped at a shop. Of my choice.
Called about stuck bolt on a new tractor needed to get in the field this weekend for hay season. They told me to come right in, removed the bolt, and did not charge me a thing. From a local farmer. Thank you. Definitely reccomend and will be calling them in the future
My first impression of this place was when I called to verify the business hours. The customer service was a bit rude over the phone. as I read some of the reviews same experience. When I arrived the customer service was better. Although I do not understand all the extra fees. The reason why the police chose to use this location for Towing your car after an accident. I am filing with the Attorney General over these fees as well with the Taunton Police Dept. I realize if its there either one day or two days be prepared to pay extra $400.00 plus the rate of $35.00 per day..
Anyone interested in filing with Attorney General fee free. Do not hesitate the more people that file with the Attorney General and the BBB-Better Business Bureau, we can actual get a lawsuit for Companies that keeps exploding consumers.
Mary and Val really helped my family through a difficult situation. These ladies are a Godsend during this tough time, in between helping me they were also extremely busy throughout the day. If not for them I know would’ve still been struggling. A1 customer service, thank you so much!
my experience with them was HORRIBLE. my car was towed i called to figure out how much + were they were located and the women on the phone was rude. she kept switching up prices between 230-290 it was never the same answer and when asking what time they closed she said 2. i get there and they switch up the price again but now they say don’t close until 5. they were giving me the runaround and only 1 women there was nice to us. customer service 1/10.
Had our primary work truck go down and needed a water pump replacement and wet PM asap. The team at R & F worked very hard to get us back to work and support our operation. Greatly appreciated! Jason
Skilled recovery crews with access to great equipment - far in excess of your local route shop. Secure storage yard if you are in a situation requiring it. All staff I talked to were courteous - again, that isn't the case in every row yard. Do your business here if you can.
I don’t recommend this place at all. They have a horrible customer service and they are a liars. I went there to do an inspection and they knew it was going to fail they still did it and charged me 145. When they lasted like 20 minutes doing it. I had a light that wasn’t working and the guy told me you have an electrical issue and that’s gonna cost you a least 200 dollars. I bought the lightbulb and I replaced it myself and it just worked. There wasn’t any electrical issues. They just wanted to get more money from me. After I fixed that I went back and I told them to redo it again and they were talking to me like a pc of s…. And told me like if nothing was happening that I had to wait about 3 hours when the guy who did the inspection for me was on site. THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do not visit this place extremely HIGH RATE FOR ANYTHING THEY DO
I can't remember the guy's name that helped me out here but I want to give him a shout out. He is really great at his job. Very patient with people, very understanding, and exceptionally nice to everyone. This is so very appreciated when people like me are going through alot after just wrecking my vehicle.
Crooks!!! $1200 for 3 daysbThey wouldnt let me get my wallet out of my car. The guy said he would give me $100 for my car and give me some of my stuff. So i had to call the police to get my stuff they said u need a release slip which I had then the police said I had to take him to court. I was under a load traveling on the highway when the short shaft on my tractor had catastrophic failure it’ snapped and broke in half. half of the shaft knocked out a couple of brake chambers one on the tractor and one on the trailer the other half got wedged up in the tractor. Joe from R&F Motors came out and he was very professional. It took Joe sometime before we were able to move the vehicle because he needed to take precaution so as not to cause any more damage to already what was unknown for the reason of the shaft snapping and falling off the truck. But once we got going Joe took the load and dropped it off in one town for me and then towed my truck to the yard where I parked which was an additional 60 miles away. And he never complained about having to tow my truck that far. Words cannot express enough of how professional and courteous Joe was and he was extremely helpful to me. I would definitely recommend R&F Motors should you find yourself in need of towing and/or repair services.
Excellent service rob Joe and Ben always take care of m these guys are great I call a few days ahead and they get whatever it is I need for parts and always get me in. I am from out of state and schedule my maintenance with R&F every time I come to the area. There prices are great and the service is top notch. I can not Express my gratitude enough for this shop. If you need work done come to R&F motors.
Joe saved me last night at 4 am I broke down on a overpass and before I knew it he was there in his tow truck. He got my load delivered and recommended R&F motors to replace my starter. They got the job done before noon when I had to leave I was sleeping in the truck the whole time. I woke up and my truck was running again and Rob even washed it for me. Thanks guys wonderful job.
few weeks ago we called rf motor road service for our brokedown semi truck.
the tech arrive . he put the wrong size fuel hose and didnt use the machine to put the fittings right . charge us 600 dollar and my truck broke down again few hours later i had to pay 700.00 to another road service to get the same job done. called R&F multiple times and every time excuses that the owner need to decide if to refund us or not. do not deal with this people they have no respect for the truckers!
My truck was towed and Joe was courteous towards me. He showed up quickly and got the job done. This was not an easy tow job. It was a loaded car carrier with some issues which made it a difficult task but Joe just got it done. I have no complaints and would recommend R&F motors.
Those guys are professional ,I recommend if anyone has a problem either towing or truck repair service you need to call R&F first before you call any truck stop or any other mechanical place, those guys will take care of your problem . especially this tech that is name Jo... this guy will go above and beyond to make sure you get the service your truck deserve with a price you can efford...if that wasn't for R&F motors I will still stock in Massachusetts.... words cannot explain or grateful I m .... thank you so much R&F motors and Jo.. for all the help....
Car was involved in an accident totaled not drivable, police called to scene.
police then called R and F towing
driver was transported to Morton Hospital.
R and F towed the truck and swept up the debris left from the single car accident.(they charged 42.00 to sweep the area. all of 15 minutes if that).
towed the vehicle 3 miles to their salvage lot.$180.00.
because of the weekend and Monday being a holiday, we were not able to access the vehicle until Tuesday. 3 days later...so add 25.00 per day. now we're up to 108.0 plus 75.00 plus 42.00
this is where the fun begins...
in calling Rand F they tell me my bill is in excess of 540.00.
So R and F finds a way to add over 400 in additional and totally arbitrary fees that are exorbitant and not consumer friendly.
There was a 100.00 fee to hang 2 pieces of plastic over the drivers door and passenger door. imagine...10.00 in plastic which took literally 5 minutes.
imagine if we could all just make up our own fees. what a country.
needless to say their final bill was over 550.00.
after speaking with the person at the desk she said her boss would lower to fees to 400.00...but I would need to sign the title over to R&F Motors. the salvage value of a 2006 Town and Country minivan is worth 250.00.
bottom line, R&F charged me 650.00 to tow my vehicle after an accident and would not allow me access to my vehicle unless I paid the full amount.
this is an obvious abuse and unfair labor practices and must be stopped.
not only is my son badly injured from the accident, but they prey upon people at their most vulnerable.
Dominique who was the person at the desk, was not very helpful and the owner couldn't be bothered. apparently RandF operate with the help of the Taunton Police. So that should over some light as to why things like this continue.
Dominique called 3 hours later and said the owner would lower the charges from 540 to 400 plus the title of the vehicle worth 250.00. thus putting a new payent of 650 to R and F Towing.
is it just me, or does this manner of doing business should be illegal?
at this point, I've paid the 400 and signed the title so I could gather my belongings and so this debt isn't hanging over my son's head.
it just seems immoral if not illegal.

Amazing service! It was a very tricky situation on a very step incline driver did an amazing job very skilled ! Couldn't have done it any better had to lift and drag my truck away from trees that were two inches away and didn't leave a scratch ! Joe did a great job and it was greatly appreciated considering it was midnight on a wet rainy Saturday ! Thank you R&F and the driver Joe
AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! A DEALERSHIP IS MUCH CHEAPER!!! They had one of our units for 7 DAYS for an air compressor replacement on a 2012 International Pro Star. First they said it was a air dryer, once they replaced the air dryer, it did not correct the issue. Then they had to order a compressor from a local dealership. When we received the final bill, it was $5,609.31 when the international dealership quoted $3,270.00 w/Parts and Labor (they just replaced one on another truck last week and offered to show me the invoice). I asked John at R&F what their mark up on parts was, he said 30% (I would be fine with 30%, people need to make a living). I asked him where he purchased the parts. He said Coastal International in RI (29.3 miles away). I called Coastal and spoke with the parts department. They parts department quoted me on every part and mentioned that R&F purchased the same parts from them this morning. R&F marked up the compressor 60% from what you can purchase it from the International Dealer Parts Dept at the counter $1,357.08 (R&F charged $2,473.45 including a $300 core charge). They marked up the air dryer 50% as well. John would NOT adjust the invoice after reviewing it with him and calling them out on the markup of the parts. When you tell a customer that your markup is 30% and charge them 50% to 60% more, that's what I call DISHONEST!!!!!!
