I stopped by Butch's Auto Body & Painting to have my fog lights installed into my 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. Eric took a look at it and said he'll take care of it in no time. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

My experience with butches auto body shop was an amazing experience. My finder needed to be replaced due to a box hitting it on the highway and they replaced it with in two days! The timing of the work was completed in a timely manner. The paint job that also had to be done to the bumper was precisely painted and matched perfectly! The staff were polite, friendly, respectful, patient, detailed, and helpful! My service here was a 10/10! I’ll be back for future repairs and be 100% sure to recommend a friend, neighbor and family. Butch’s Auto Body & Painting did a phenomenal job to repair minor scratches and restore the body paint on my bumper. Not only did they exceed my expectations in the service itself, they offered great customer service and even wiped down my dashboard and screens inside, which I appreciated. Plus, their office smells really nice. I will be returning for any future auto body work.

Butch’s Auto Body & Painting shop is top 3 in DMV and it’s not in 2 or 3! The customer service is immaculate and truly so welcoming. We got our quote within minutes and received next day service! Best service I ever experienced from any body shop I have ever went to. Everyone is nice,kind and friendly and humble and they’ll make you feel at home as well. My car had got t-bone on my car passenger side doors and they fixed it immediately within two days and everything was so perfect. They even help me out with other problems I had came across with my car and looked out for me. Anything you need done they can basically fix and make your vehicle perfect as you wanted. I’m telling you they are worth everything. If you need help please come to this location. Highly recommended!!!

I cannot recommend Butch’s Auto Body and Painting enough! I first came to them about a year ago for a simple paint job, and I was so impressed by both the quality of the work and the incredible customer service that I told myself: this is my go-to shop from now on. Fast forward to recently—someone opened their door into my moving car, and suddenly my driver’s side door wouldn’t open. There was a huge black scratch running from my side mirror to the gas tank. I didn’t hesitate for a second—I called Butch’s. From the moment I reached out, they treated me like a princess (just like they do with every customer). They coordinated my rental car, handled the insurance process, and had my car ready exactly when I needed it. And here’s the part that blew me away: since my front bumper had to be removed to fix the main damage, they went above and beyond and evened out a scratch on the other side of the car—completely as a courtesy. That kind of care and attention is rare. The staff is kind, the owner is amazing, and the shop is always packed because he’s that guy. The work is flawless. My car came back looking brand new—and I couldn't stop smiling. Butch’s Auto Body is worth every single penny (and then some). I'm a customer for life!

I would have to personally say I wouldn’t choose any other auto body shop other than Butch’s Auto Body. Now from the staff down to the immaculate work they have done on my car! They treat you like family here, I literally felt like I been coming here for years with the service they provided to me, it was by far a one of a kind. They are up front and honest about everything going on with your vehicle, they don’t give you the feeling they just got your car sitting on the side while they do other things. Their service was fast, efficient, and they were very detailed in their work. They also was a lot cheaper than these other body shops claiming they provide grade A services! Nobody compares to Butch’s Auto Body in my opinion. I would recommend Butch’s Auto Body over anyone in the DMV. Possibly worldwide. They kept me informed about my car throughout the whole process. I personally feel the car looks better than it did before I got the work done to it. It’s also amazing how fast they got my car done seeing as they always have cars they are working on. Don’t let that discourage you at all because through my experience they had my car in and out of there faster than I could sign the rental agreement paperwork lol, nah but they definitely got it done faster than I expected it to be. Again I wouldn’t choose any other auto body shop to take care of my vehicle. After my repairs they even did the paint on my vehicle and I love it. They made me realize Painting cars are definitely better than just getting a wrap, the work they did to the paint was by far some of the most immaculate and impressive work I have ever seen. I’m definitely glad I didn’t go the Maaco route lol. Butch’s Auto Body is the best and hope all of you know it.

I brought my 25 year old Lexus to Butch's Auto Body after it was hit in a parking lot, because I had heard they do good work. While the other person's insurance covered the damage done to my car, I also chose to pay extra to have some other cosmetic issues (various dents, chips, and damaged windshield) corrected. Just picked up the car two days ago, and the level of work is outstanding. It's like a brand new car. Had thought about going to Maaco before the incident to have some of the pre-existing cosmetic issues treated, but am really glad I didn't do that. Maaco farms out things like windshield replacements (which I needed) for example to third parties, whereas Butch's does it in house and takes responsibility for the work. There's also no way Maaco would have done as good a job on the paint or dent repair either. Also, the Maaco people were kind of rough and and in a big hurry with me, whereas everything about this shop is highly professional (the latter being kind of unusual in the auto body industry). The Butch's people take their time with both the customer relationship and the work itself; this is probably the reason (in addition to the quality of the work) that their parking lot is packed with customer cars. The Butch's people spent a lot of time discussing with me the possibility of what could/should be repaired at each step, versus just going ahead and doing the job as presented to them. It's sometimes difficult to justify putting money into an older car for cosmetic issues; I'm really glad I spent that money here, though.

Took my car in to have adhesives removed after taking off an aftermarket exterior piece. These guys did a fantastic job not only removing the glue and adhesive materials but they even touched up some areas where paint had chipped off. The ladies in the office were very welcoming and courteous aswell. Highly recommend the services!

I am a returning customer of Butch's Auto Body and Painting, as it seems something is always happening to my vehicle(s) in the DM and VA area and Butch's Auto Body is my GO-TO Auto Body Shop, HANDS DOWN! In this instance, my 2014 Dodge Challenger was T-Boned on the driver's side, and the damage was BAD. Butch's Auto Body is highly responsive and dedicated to the quality of work, parts, and fair pricing in the PG County area. Butch's Auto Body fixed my Nissan Maxima, and this is the 2nd time for my Dodge Challenger... The QUALITY of work that Butch's Auto puts into your vehicle is unmatched in this area. When you first enter Butch's, you are always greeted with a welcoming smile from Liz, Butch and staff. The intake form is short, simple, and easy to complete. Butch and the team always walk with me around my car, to survey the damage and ensure they coordinate with my insurance carrier based on the specific needs of my vehicle. The insurance carriers can be bullies at times, and Butch and Liz work diligently with my carrier with the initial estimate and any changes that come up within the claims process, so I don't have to! If my rental needs to be extended Liz and the team extends my rental with my adjustor without me asking, and I love that I can pick up my car, and leave the rental for return at Butch's, which saves me so much time! Butch's saved my car from Total Loss! I don't need any total LOSS right now! Butch's AUTO BODY restored my car to PRISTINE Condition. A little backstory on myself before the actual review. I bought my first car back in October for my birthday. A 2024 Hyundai Elantra. I loved this car, drove it everyday for a good month and a half. Then boom, someone hit and runs me, luckily I wasn’t present in the car. I saw the damage once I left my house and saw my car the way it was badly injured. The front left headlight was hanging on for dear life, which made my car un safe to drive. I was so upset that I didn’t catch who did it, and upset that I only had just gotten this car a month prior and its already been a victim to someone who wanted to play bumper cars with me. I didn’t know a trusted place to send my car to get it fixed. Until my girlfriend’s mom recommended Butch’s Auto Shop. The people were very nice. I know I probably bugged them from the amount of times I’ve called up there to check in on my car, but they were nice to me and patient. They were also understanding and answered any questions I had. Considering I am a young person who has never dealt with this before, they made everything seem simple and understandable. The day I came to pick up my car it was washed and cleaned inside and out, and I thank them because I literally was gonna go to the car wash the same day the accident occurred. My car was fully restored with everything exactly where they were supposed to be. No worrying about them stealing any of your items either, they don’t do that. I also didn’t get anyone’s names so I can commend them individually, but honestly the whole crew is great. Thank you for fixing my car, if (God forbid) my car gets struck again, I know where to send it to.

My experience at Butch's Auto Body & Painting was Amazing. I was look for a shop that could install the aerodynamic front lip spoiler, rear diffuser with winglets, and trunk roof spoiler on my BMW F15 X5 M Sport. I look up on Google for a shop and came across Butch's. I gave them a call and Liz answered and from that moment I felt welcome. I went by and met with Eric and made an appointment which they did everything to get me in ASAP based on my schedule. I drop off my BMW at 8am the morning of 8/19/2021 with Eric to get the aerodynamics install. OMG what a awesome job Eric and Leori did on the installation. And to top it off the customer service was EXCELLENT they make me feel so welcome. I will be back soon to get some paint work done. Thank you all, I greatly appreciate the service and the terrific job well done.

Unfortunately, this is the second time I had to use Butch's. First time a buck deer wanted my attention and crashed into the front of my vehicle and the second time a no good somebody decided to hit me from behind and speed off. Abbie and Erick were superb. Their professionalism coupled with excellent customer service did me and my baby right. I'm so grateful for the attention they gave my car and helping make this jacked up hit and run an awesome experience!I would highly recommend them again. Hopefully I won't ever have to see them again. But if I ever find myself needing auto body repairs this would be it.

I’ve owned a classic car for 5 years and have worked on it a lot during that time. It always needed some body work on the bumpers and for them to be repainted. Though, since I love the car so much it was hard to find a place I trusted with it. Well, I finally took a leap of faith and left it in Butch’s capable hands...and I’m glad I did. Everything about the experience was fantastic. The kind and very responsive front desk, scheduling, amazing work and fair price. They were even very accommodating to me being a tad (probably an understatement) particular. The only thing I wish is that I would have done it sooner. Thanks for a job well done!

I'm very happy with my experience at Butch's. These guys are true professionals. My F150 developed rust rot in the lower rear corners of the cab. I called around to a couple of places, most of which didn't want to deal with rust repair, or did not give me the feeling that they would do a good job. I called Butch's after reading the reviews here and spoke to Eric, who was a pleasure to deal with. I brought the truck in, Eric inspected it and explained exactly how the repair would be completed, and provided what I felt to be a fair estimate. I scheduled an appointment and brought the truck back for the repair. The office staff were great, and the repair was completed prior to the date promised. The work quality was excellent. This repair required cutting out sheet metal, welding in a new part, and painting. I'm very pleased with the finished product - you can't tell that a repair was done, and I'm very particular about the details of such things. The truck was clean and even had Armor All on the tires. Eric tells me (and my receipt has it in writing) that there's a lifetime warranty on the work, so that's some piece of mind, but frankly, I'll be surprised if I need it. If I ever need body work again, I won't be going any place else. Highly recommended!

My Mazda took a pretty bad hit after being rear-ended by a pickup truck on an Interstate. My auto insurance said they’d tow the vehicle only about 100 miles from the scene of the accident and hence, I had to scout around for body shops that were further away from where I live. That’s how I chanced upon Butch’s Auto Body and Painting, and getting my vehicle towed to their body shop was, by far, one of the best decisions I’ve made. Right from the onset, I felt I was in safe hands, after talking to Eric, the Owner of the shop. He promised to bring back my car to the pre-accident state, and boy, did they deliver! My car looks and drives as good as new after 7 weeks in the shop (yes, that’s how bad it was!) I insisted on having only OEM parts for the replacement and Eric made sure I got them. This review won’t be complete without a shout-out to Liz and Abbie. They were wonderful to me, making sure they sent me regular updates/ pictures of the work in progress. They were also very kind in taking care of my rental car needs beyond my policy’s coverage. I cannot thank the team at Butch’s enough for their service and would recommend them without batting an eyelid! Cheers!
